  • Lilidin watched him leave and frowned slightly before she stood up and ran over to the cave. She waited there for him...

After a while she was spooked but a sudden voice but was soon to recognize it as Reveth. She came out of the cave quickly and grabbed his hand, “We must leave” she told him in a whisper before she began to pull him north, “I saw scouts from your village earlier, I doubt they have returned home. They looked like they were searching for something” she explained as she quickly jogged, slowly starting to speed up

  • Reveth nodded, not saying a word in response but followed her quickly, wanting to get out of these woods as soon as possible. It was time for him to finally get some real worldly experience and he wouldn't let the other elves keep him here. "They are probably just out on boarder patrol... we should be able to slip by easily... the woods are a big place."

  • She listened but did not respond as they were now in a full sprint through the woods. She looked around her carefully as they run before suddenly dropping to the ground and laying flat, “Get down” she whispered to him quickly as she spotted the lanterns from the scouts she had seen earlier

  • He dropped down flat right after her, laying in the dirt. Reveth inhaled as he spotted the lanterns in the distance, remaining quiet and still, he just hoped they passed them unnoticed, he wanted to avoid conflict but if he had to fight to get out of this, he would.

  • The scouts slowly went passed but still stayed in the area. You could hear them talking about he humans coming into their forest and taking their fruits. Lilidin slowly got to her knees but stayed low and began to quickly crawl passed them. She bit her lip neveriously as she kept her eyes on them the whole time before standing completely to her feet and grabbing Reveth arm and pulling him onward. Quickly they began to run again, “It shouldn’t Ben much longer before we aren’t finally out of the woods.” She told him in a whisper as they ran

  • He kept running alongside he as they got up, he hoped she was right about them being near the end of these woods, he couldn't wait to see the outside of the treeline. Reveth had always felt the urge to leave his home village but before he never had a reason too, now he had someone to take that journey with.

  • After some time of running they reached their destination. Out of breath she stopped and began to walk, “F-finally” she panted with a smile as she looked around, “this way” she told him softly as she walked to a stream in the distance, “We’ll follow the stream and it should lead us to a town where we can get some food” she explained as she’s walked beside him.

Lilidin was surprised that he stuck to it, he wanted out and now he was but now her worry was if he would stay with her after he started to see the other wonders of the world, the new women, the food, the drinks, everything...

  • "Wait a minute, uhm, what will they think of me? I know my village ain't the only elven people out there but do you interact with any of my sort that often? It is okay if I go into a human town?" Reveth asked a ton of questions, sort of worried what would happen. He walked beside her, looking out at the stream calmly, he was out of the woods for the first time in his life and it felt like freedom.

  • She looked up and him and smiled, “Don’t worry this village is a safe haven for travels of all races” she told him before poking his cheek gently, “Everythint will be okay, just be calm” she teased as she moved closer to him

  • "You are truly stunning... I trust you fully." Reveth spoke warmly, yet again cupping her cheek with the palm of his hand, laying it there gently as he gazed at her with a soft look. "I'm happy it is you that I am to journey with."

  • She blushed deeply as he touched her cheek, leaning into his palm slightly, “I hope your enjoy your journey, I will do my best to make every moment count” she told him gently before she grab his hand and held it softly within hers...

Time had passed and they finally reached the village. It was larger that it seemed from a distance but it was simply amazing! Lilidin smiled softly before leading him to an Inn, “The people here are very nice, you’ll love it” she explained as they began to mingle

  • Reveth looked a bit out of place in the village, being the type of wood elf that wasn't typically seen outside their territory, especially not with another human. He let Lillidin take the lead as they walked through the village, surrounding themselves with the various inhabitants. He held her hand tightly the whole time, a bit frightened but very curious.

  • She introduced him to several people she knew there and showed him around, she let him try the huge variety’s of food, took him to the statues and explained their values to the village. They explored the whole day, and even made some new friend. Then finally as the sun began to set she took him back to the inn and they got a room, “So how did you like it?” She questioned him as she sat downbeat on the bed

  • Reveth fully enjoyed himself and slowly came out of his shell throughout the whole day, speaking more and more to the locals and enjoying the foods that were alien to him. As they retired into the inn and settled down a look of complete joy flowed into his face. "I loved it very much, I can't believe I've been missing out on all this... this is what living is."

  • She smiled and laughed a bit, “I’m glad you had fun” she spoke softly before yawning, “But I do believe it is time for rest so we refreshed for the morning” she explained as she flopped back on the bed and let out one more big yawn, “Come lay with me” she asked softly as she curled up under the covered and closer her eyes

  • Reveth nodded, moving towards the bedside at her request. He was a elf of few words as he did not reply to her requests with word confirmations but nods in agreements, laying down in the bed beside her. Reveth was still getting used to expressing himself and being with the human female, eventually closing his eyes in order to fall asleep.

  • Lilidin opened her eyes slightly and stared at him, moving closer and laying on his arm and resting her hand on his chest,

“Goodnight Reveth...” she whispered as she kissed his cheek and closed her eyes once more

  • Reveth smiled as he felt her lips against his cheek, she felt warm to the touch. "Goodnight..." He responded calmly before eventually falling asleep beside her. He yet again had a full and peaceful rest, Lillidin's presence was having an extreme positive effect on him.

  • The next day finally cane and Lilidin was already up and had gone and gotten breakfast for the both of them. She set his plate on the nightstand beside him,

“Reveth, it’s time to get up”

she whispered as she pressed her lips against his forehead,

    “I brought you some breakfast”

Lilidin added as she pulled away and poked his cheek playfully

  • Reveth rubbed his eyes as he got up, sitting on the side of the bed, he first looked at the plate of food and then back at Lillidin smiling. "You are too sweet, thank you." Eventually he picked up the plate, digging into his food properly, eating in small and precise bites, savoring the flavor of his meal.
