Different Story’s - Different Lives [Private with Deso]

Reveth was quite a young elf with no worldly experience in comparison to his many brother and sisters of the land. He was only a mere twenty three years of age, which was young to even the human race of people. Right now he was out hunting while his people we're feasting and celebrating some type of spectacle as they always do. Carrying a bow in hand made of fine Elven wood, he marched on through the woodline, looking for any signs of animal life.
-
Lilidin laid quiet in a tree, her body only covered by a simply velvet cloth. She hummed a soft melody as she swung her leg back and forth from the branch.
After just a moment she sat up slightly and listened. She wrapped the cloth around her like a towel and jumped down from her tree swiftly, taking cover behind a former resting place as she waited...
-
Reveth inched along the underbrush as he heard a slight noise coming southbound from his location, he smelled something quite strange in nature, it wasn't any normal animal he had encountered before it was something more... human? He questioned himself for a moment, what could a human be doing in these neck of the woods, so close to his home? Shaking his head he trekked closer to the source, hoping he was wrong about what he suspected.
-
She peeked from around the tree and spotted the male creature from the distance. She narrowed her eyes and pulled a small dagger out before holding her breath.
Lilidin began to sneak around the trees, her yellow eyes fixed upon the male as she carefully neared closet and closet to him
(Sorry for the short reply, I was in a hurry)
-
(It's all good!)
Reveth felt like something was creeping up on him, turning around with his bow held at aim. "Who goes there? Show yourself and there will be no harm to you." He spoke loudly, trying to make himself sound as threatening as he could, Reveth wasn't about to lose his life to a simple bandit or whatever was creeping in the woods.
-
Lilidin narrowed her eyes at his words but stayed hidden, “Your words are lies” she called simply before quickly changing her location so he didn’t catch her, “once I show myself your going to shoot me” she added softly as she once more changed her location to a tree top, watching the male circle as her voice kept changing location.
-
"You are trespassing, it is not I who wish to harm you whoever you may be." Reveth spoke, remaining focused, even though the voices were shifting all around him he stayed calm, keeping his surroundings in check. As long as he kept all sides in check then the stranger could not get the jump on him. "I do not shoot those who are innocent, but you do not wish to test me, come out and we can sort this out peacefully."
-
She listened to him carefully before jumping down from her tree, revealing herself to him,”Lower your bow and I will come from my shadows” she stated simply as she laid her dagger on the ground before him. Her yellow eyes fixed upon him sternly as she still did not trust this stranger, he was an elf, why wouldn’t he shoot on sight?
-
He lowered his aim, examining the human with green eyes curiously. "What is it your doing out here so deep in the woods? Much less stalking me huh?" Reveth questioned the female human, weary of her nature. What if she was some kind of scout sent to spy on his people? He'd find out soon enough about her true nature.
-
Lilidin stoosbup straight and fixed her lcothbslightly so it wouldn’t droop, “I wondered from my village years ago, I’m simply a traveler. I did not realize I was this close to a elf camp” she explained softly as she began to walk closer to the elf, her coal black hair slightly in her face but her gaze gentle,”I’m not a threat unless you are to me” she explained before holding out her hand to the elf but still a few feet from him just in case.
-
Reveth stepped back a little untrusting of her movements his eyes wide. "I'm not allowed to touch humans in such a manner." He stated simply keeping his arms at his sides. "Just a traveler you say? You do know a few strange tricks it seems for just a simple human nomad, are you sure this is the truth?"
-
Her face became cold as the disbelief of the elf, “I’ve learn to defend myself elf, I left my village due to a unwanted suitor. I did not wish for that life so I left. I’ve learned what I know because I need to survive, do I not?” She questioned him sternly as she’s walked a few more fertile closer to him, her eyes narrowed and her arms crossed
-
He felt a little uncomfortable by how close she was to him. "No need to be so offended human, I didn't say it was a bad thing, now did I? I was just curious after all." Reveth looked down at her, wondering if human's typically got this defensive and rambled on about their life stories when ever they felt slightly offended.
-
“Your kind needs to choice your words carefully, just because your women sit there and take your words doesn’t mean other species will” she growled at him before uncrossing her arms and resting them to her sides,”Regardless, my name is Lilidin, what is yours elf?” She questioned him gently as she’s once more held out her hand to him in a kind motion
-
"I go by Reveth and really I am not allowed to touch another human in the manner you request of me... the other's would be in an upstart if they found out." He responded, his eyes looking down as her arm extended, honestly he didn't think it would hurt any if he did but custom was custom and if someone found out otherwise he could be in trouble with The Council.
-
Lilidin kept her arm reached out to him and smiled softly, ”Your customs are strange to me Reveth” she spoke gently before stepping a few feet closer, standing about a foot from him a this point, “Please explain them to me” she looked him sternly yet softly in the eyes, never loosing her focus as she’s took in his every detail, counted every lash, took account everything thing she possibly could about this man before her
-
Reveth was shaking where he stood, looking at her nervously, she was acting so strange, he had never seen something lie this before, well because he'd never had any contact with humans. "You are standing a bit close human... I uhm don't know how to explain thus, I really should not be talking to an outsider, especially a human outsider..." He gulped, trying to remain as stern as he could in her presence though he kind of melted a little at her soft gaze.
-
She smiled softly at the now uncortable elf, “Why so nervous?” She questioned before reaching her hand up to his cheek and gently placing the tips of her fingers against his soft skin, “I don’t know your customs but I can tell you that I’m no harm to you” she explained in a gentle tone before pulling her hand away and beginning to walk off
-
Reveth's eyes widened, this was the first time he felt a human touch which to him was quite something out of the ordinary. He looked after Lillidin as she began to walk away. "Wait human, you'll only get lost out here... these woods... they are full of trickery no?"
