    Akame // M // Umbreon // Inn

Finding a place to rest your head was quickly becoming increasingly harder to do. Akame’s dwindling funds had only gotten him and his fledgling team so much. He sighed leaning over the bar in the Inn. His tail swishing mellow-dramatically as it’s dull light flickered dubiously. Akame was glad he Atleast haggled enough to get them into this inn. They’d been on the road for all to long with no sign of any paradise in sight. And well, laying in a cozy warm bed or by the hearth in the Inn would soothe anyone’s nerves. Morale needed to be kept up.

He glanced around him, mostly travelers and folks down on there crowded the spaces of the Inn. They were a little ways of a city, they wouldn’t be seeing any big trouble. Hopefully anyway.

    Sal // F // Typhlosion // City Streets

The sound of a coin being continuously flicked into the air and caught echoed across the empty streets. Ways off from where the Inn a town over was, stood Sal. Lazily moving her way through the streets. Clutching a rather big pouch of coins which she seemed to take delight in. Her collar of flames was flared out, to bite back at the permeating frost in the air. She was gloating to herself how easy of a job ‘that’ was. Mighty proud of herself regardless of the bandages that crawled up her arms. Missions had been getting harder to get, competition was fierce and those who would have bounties knew all to well to make themselves scarce.

It was a real pain to her, but she liked the challenge. But the lack of jobs mean’t no gold, and no gold meant no food in her stomach. And Arceus, she wouldn’t have that. But for now she was content, she had gold now. Gold that would make any other low-rate criminal in these slums drool.

  • Jin

The Ninetales couldn't remember the last time her inn had seen this much business. That is, ever since all hell broke loose on their world. Letting out an exhausted sigh, Jin padded back behind the bar, a damp rag dangling from her narrow jaws. The bags under her eyes were quite visible; after her parents were killed, she had been forced to run their little business by herself. Releasing her hold on the cloth, she let it drop onto the bar before she got up on her hind legs. Placing a paw on the wet rag, she continued to slide it across the surface, ensuring every bit had been cleaned before dropping back down onto all fours. As the fox-like pokemon tossed the rag onto her back, she glanced at the Umbreon who had been sitting at the bar for quite some time. Yeesh, he looked in rough shape. "Excuse me...can I get you anything to eat or drink?" The young innkeeper questioned, coming to stand across the bar from him.

    Rai

Sitting huddled by the fire was a young Jolteon, her black eyes watching the flames lick at the logs on which they burned. It had been a few nights since she had slept indoors, and she was eager to climb into whatever bed she was given. Heck, she would sleep right here by the fire if she had to! Twitching her long ears, Rai glanced over her shoulder at the various pokemon who found themselves in this very inn tonight. A few of them made up the team she had just recently joined, yet she still didn't really know them that well. Lowering her eyes to the ground, Rai let out a soft exhale, exhaustion beginning to seep into her body.

    Hino

Bright red wings flapping swiftly at his sides, young Hino flew over the streets of whatever city they had found themselves in. As he stared downwards, his narrow, dark brown eyes scanned the streets until the glow of a familiar flame caught his attention. The Spearow began his descent, gliding downwards until his small pink feet felt the cold concrete. Fluttering his wings, Hino made a rather clumsy landing before looking up expectantly at the Typhlosion. "Where to now, Sal?" He squawked, hopping slightly as he stared at her.

He visibly jolted in his seat, his ears perking up high and his rings flickering slightly. As a trained warrior it was embarrassing to have zoned out and be caught off guard. He blinked wearily, realizing it was just the Innkeeper. He sighed, rubbing his paw to his temple before responding. “Just some water... and whatever you have laying out for food.” He said in his tired sounding voice. “Please” he added in realizing that it’d be rude to order someone who’d been relatively hospitable to them around. He was tempted to order brew but knew better. Though it would calm his nerves he needed to be vigilant and on top of things.

    Sal // F // Typhlosion // City Streets

She flicked an ear as Hino dived down from wherever he’d been loafing around at. Often she wondered how exactly she’d winded up with him following her. It was beneficial she told herself, she was fast yes, but bulky and incapable of flight. It was good to have an extra set of eyes and if she got annoyed with him she could just eat him or set him on fire. Suffice to say she held as much respect to the Spearow as her father did towards her. Serve your purpose and do it well and you live and prosper. Or you die. Simple as that.

She licked her muzzle and shrugged “Mmm, not sure yet. maybe south?” She said half-heartedly. It seemed she searched for new clients more then they searched for her. “Or we could chase those ‘seekers’ or whatever that every minor assassin and their mom seems to be wantin’ nowadays.” She continues.

  • Kireina sat with her brother, wrapping herself around him to keep him warm. "Sis, I'm glad you let me come with you," the young Eevee said. "I am too," the older Glaceon replied.

//sorry I don't have much muse Im kinda drowsy Cuz Benadryl, stupid allergies...

  • Tiny sat near the fire, the fluff on her back keeping her warm as she laid back, sinking into it until only her head was visible. She looked around, noticing several different pokemon, feeling out of place --everyone either had a companion or someone to talk to.

  • Jin

Raising an eyebrow, the Ninetales heaved a sigh and nodded as she turned to retrieve what he had asked for. "Comin' right up," She responded over her shoulder, nosing a glass underneath the pump in the back. Pushing lightly down on the handle with a paw, Jin watched as cool, clear water streamed out of the faucet, filling the glass to the brim. With condensation already dribbling down the sides, she turned away to gather a few bites of food. Sliding some bread, berries, and nuts onto the platter, she gently grasped the handle in her jaws and gingerly carried it to the bar. Setting it down, Jin nosed it closer to the Umbreon and leaned her shoulder against the bar, staring at her guests wearily. "What brings you folks in town?" She questioned without looking at the Pokemon sitting across the bar from her. She had noticed a small, rag-tag group follow him in when they arrived, so she assumed something brought the group here.

    Hino

The tiny bird cocked his head to the side before preening his feathers. "Sure, whatever you want, Sal!" He chirped eagerly, returning his gaze to the large female in front of him. Ever since the tragedies that befell the world, he had randomly attached himself to the Typhlosion and would follow her anywhere, finding her company rather comforting. Not to mention Hino was dreadful at picking up hints and had no clue of the annoyance he sometimes brought to Sal.

  • Akame // M // Umbreon // Inn

He graciously moved the glass close to him before gulping down a few sips thirstily. Clean water was a godsend, he’d drunken to much tundra water then was healthy for him. He set the glass down letting a relieved sigh, he glanced towards the Innkeeper before clearing his throat. He pondered for a moment if he should tell the truth. Risk being laughed and jeered at for believing in such childish dreams. “We’ve been traveling around. Y’know looking for any place better... then where we came really.” He explained. “And we haven’t had to much luck with that.” He laughed dryly. His paw reached for a handful of berries and nuts, eating his meal hungrily but slowly. he sets some to the side, wanting to save some for the others when they set out again in the coming days. He’d originally planned to stay a night and no longer. But staring back at the content faces of his teammates made him think otherwise.

She lowered her flames slightlt as she continued to walk her hand motioning for him to follow. “We might wanna’ take a look at some of the locals here.” She says “Before we hit the road. Just in case we can connive ourselves into some extra gold while we are here.” She grins. “You can takka’ look ahead if you want. I’m just going to check some of the inns or somethin’” she continues to move, walking on her hindlegs as she normally does.
