  • WE JUST WANNA FEEL SOMETHING —

riverclan was here! this was great! everyone could all be friends now. unfortunately, the riverclanners didn’t seem to be as excited about this as daisypaw. she still felt their tension and discomfort at...having to stay so far away from home? was that it? daisypaw never really had anywhere she considered a home, so she didn’t quite understand. all she knew was that cats were anxious and that was bad, considering that daisypaw knew everyone here and she knew how nice and fun they all were! they needed something to help break the ice, something to show that they could trust each other and be friends. and what better way to do that than to play a game? not some stupid kit game, no, but one that required a little honestly and stepping outside one’s comfort zone. “yo, who wants to play truth or dare?” the adult apprentice called out to nobody in particular. she would happily play with whoever decided to show up.

  • Truth or dare wasn't exactly Poppystar's style in terms of games, but she appreciated Daisypaw's attempt to break the ice with the RiverClan cats, so she headed over anyways. She never knew whether truth or dare was the better option, and as a generally indecisive cat, she found it hard to make that decision within the reasonable amount of time that the game expected. Yet here she was. "I'll play!" she meowed, sitting down near the apprentice while she waited for more cats to show up.

  • oh...oh! the clan leader herself wanted to play? daisypaw didn’t know whether she should feel anxious or excited. she supposed it was kind of a mix of both. the cream she-cat smiled sheepishly at poppystar, welcoming her over with a swish of her plumelike tail. “hell yeah. anyone else?” she meowed.

  • (wait wheat was supposed to have a crush on this girl YEET.... I shoulda made that thread when he still felt feelings:(( ic opinions)

Wheatbloom had played played this game a few times. Was there a way to win? He hoped he'd won those other times, because it had mostly just felt like a bunch of cats sitting around and asking each other to either eat a snail or confess to rumors. There was no shame in either, and he had done both many times. He hoped he would win this, too, and approached on light feet, twisting around Poppystar (almost-mom, second best to Minnownose) to sit beside her, gazing at the unfamiliar cat. The Clan had filled with fishy-smelling strangers, but this one carried an air that was almost not unpleasant, something like grass and cold water. Her personality seemed very boring.

  • Minnownose materializes on Poppystar's other side. The deputy wasn't the biggest fan of this game, even as a younger cat. But, Minnownose still felt the tension of having RiverClan in the camp. No one was comfortable that way. Maybe this game suggested by Daisypaw would be a good way to get everyone talking.

With a mew of greeting, Minnownose gives a good-natured shrug, "I'll play, I suppose. What'd I have to lose?"

  • WE JUST WANNA FEEL SOMETHING —

she smiled at the new cats. alright, so they had four players. or maybe three? wheatbloom hadn’t said anything, so daisypaw wasn’t sure. regardless, they probably had enough cats now. “dope. any riverclanners wanna play? no? wellll, okay, y’all are missin’ out.”

how funny, skyclan’s leader, deputy, and medicine cat apprentice were all here yet not a single riverclan cat decided to come. her former clanmates had been so depressing lately. this game was meant to help make them feel more comfortable, but hey, they could wallow in their misery if they wanted. daisypaw, being an emo teen herself, wasn’t really one to judge. and the small turnout wasn’t going to ruin her day; she’d just make friends with the cats in her clan. “okay, who wants to go first?” she asked.

  • ❆❆❆ Bluefrost had grown especially good at wallowing in her own misery. The things Larkthroat had put her through, her kits, the flood, losing Ashpaw -- it all seemed like too much. When Daisypaw offered a game of truth or dare, Bluefrost's curiosity was piqued. She was trying to hold on to that little flame of her old self that still clung in the depths of her mind, but she was slowly fading away into someone that Bluefrost didn't like. In fact, she quite feared this new her.

In an attempt to keep her old self kindled, she padded over to the group of SkyClan cats and Daisypaw. She took a seat next to Wheatbloom. Though she had interacted with him very little, he was medicine cat apprentice of SkyClan, and she could benefit from getting to know him better. "Not so fast, Daisypaw. I'll play," she said. Maybe she could redeem herself from snapping at her friend, too.

Oh boy, truth or dare! The medicine cat thrummed with exitement as he made his way over. Dispite being an adult, he rather loved playing games whenever he got the chance. So, of course, he would join this one. Coming to sit beside Wheatbloom, he smiled warmly at his apprentice before focusing on Daisypaw. "I don't mindn going first - gimme a..." he thought a moment, tapping his jaw. At last, he offered with a smile, "Gimme a truth, Daisypaw"

The Riverclan apprentice quietly approached the scene of the game and sat down, his ears swiveled towards the source of whoever spoke. If he played or not would yet to be seen, for he was a spectator- Watching the game Daisypaw had put together.

    //lame track

  • oh, yay! another player! well damn, she had the whole higher ups squad here now. "okayyy," the cream she-cat mewed, pausing to think of a question. damn idiot, why didn't you think of a question before now? her mind was blank, and it didn't help when marshpaw came by to add another distraction. she ended up staring at the tom, mouth open and expressionless as the tumbleweed that was her brain rolled around in circles. her cheeks felt hot, and she felt everyone's expectant gazes. she wasn't a fast thinker, this was terrible. oh, that was it! "okay, when was a time you felt really uncomfortable?" she finally blurted out. she wished she couldv'e asked something funnier, but that was all she had right now.

Addercloud patiently waited for Daisypaw to come up with an idea. For a moment, he felt a pinprick of guilt, seeing her fight made him want to ease her burden by changing his position to 'dare'. But, by then she had blinked and at lask asked him a questions. He thought a moment, trying to find the right response. Not quite getting the potential jist of what Daisypaw meant, the healer said, "The last time I got uncomfortable was probably last night. I slept on my tail on accident. woke up with a achy back and my tail just would not straighten! It was pretty funny - I had to roll around like a turtle on it's back to relieve the stiffness, shame no one was in the den to laugh with me," he chuckled. Because of course this gentle healer would want to give any form of mirth to his clan mates, even if the source was ridiculing Addy for nightly misfortunes.

Glancing over at Marshpaw, whom he had yet to know the name of, he smiled gently and said, "Come join us. This game is a lot of fun, I promise." Hues glowing, the tom offered, "Would you like a truth or a dare?"

He watched as Daisypaw fumbled her brain for a question to ask Skyclan's medicine cat and at long last she drew one from her mind, offering it to the tom. His green eyes shifted towards him as he went about answering the question assigned to him. Felt really uncomfortable? In what way? Marshpaw supposed the tom's response was certainly one way.

The dark apprentice's ears perked up when he realized he had caught the attention of the very Skyclanner. With hesitant paws he picked himself up to join the little circle, "I'll take dare." He answered as he sat down.
