  • PYRE —

"And when do I get paid?" Pyre crossed his legs, idly watching the bodyguard? Butler? He was buff enough yet well-dressed enough to be both. Huh. The man clasped his hands behind his back, mouth turned down in a slight frown.

"You'll be paid when Niele's safety is confirmed on arrival to each city." The stout man glanced to the door behind him, "The rest of your company should arrive soon."

Pyre rested his head on the back of the chair, turning his attention to the large window framing the room. He hummed absently, watching the bustling street below. Partners made his job easier. Less work, more chances to do...what he pleased.

  • "So, basically, what you're saying is that we're paid on a city by city basis?" A female voiced echoed from outside the door. Unbeknownst to the occupants of the adjacent room, she was coincidentally talking with a guard Butler hybrid about the same thing. She knocked on the door loudly, and then came in anyway. "I'm here for the guarding job." She stated bluntly at the butler guardsman inside the room after barging in.

  • Sorry - this was rushed a bit :'D))

Andrew Dorrington walked swiftly across the street. The sound of his footsteps and hidden projectile weapons echoed as he approached the hotel he was told to go. Before entering, he looked up. Squinting, he could see the large window belonging to the room he was supposed to go to. Hearing voices coming from said room, Andy made his way in and rushed down the hallway. Up ahead, he saw an air genasi barge in through the room he was walking to. "Excuse me, ma'am." He mumbled as he slipped in. "Did someone order a gunslinger?" He questioned.

  • PYRE —

The fire genasi straightened up in his chair, face brightening at the new additions in the room. The gubutler? Buguard? Seemed taken off balance by the two's sudden appearance, clearing his throat after a second. "We- yes, Mr. Dorrington. Miss Cassum. The man scooted a little forward into the room away from the door.

Pyre stood up with a flourish, taking a little bow with a small smile, "Pyre, at your services." He sent a heavy wink in Andrew's direction. Adding one toward Ilana, almost on an afterthought.

  • "Hm. Hello there, Pyre. I am Ilana." She sounded unimpressed. She smiled nonetheless. She was quietly annoyed that she wasn't first here. "Who is missing?" Ilana added another thought, noticing that she was told four were to be here, and only two we're there (discounting herself).

  • PYRE —

"There'll be two more arrivals before we begin the debriefing." The gubutler? said, resuming his stern straight post against the wall a few feet away from the door.

Pyre tilted his head a bit, focusing on Ilana, "An...air genasi?" He stepped closer to Ilana, examining...something. "And I'd thought I'd be the only unique party member this job." A little smirk, somewhat charming? Or challenging. Could be both.

  • Anor had never been good at keeping track of the time, it seemed to pass so quickly, and he was already late by the time he'd packed everything he wanted to bring; which wasn't much considering how long it took to organize. He'd flagged down the first taxi he saw, and after offering an additional sum of money to 'step on it' he quickly found himself at the meet up location, only properly checking the time after he'd gotten to the correct floor and silently cursing his tardiness.

By the time he caught sight of the well dressed guards(?) he was made aware that his soon-to-be co-workers were already there, and after a cursory glance he was relieved having not been the last to arrive. Close though. However this relief was soon replaced with a subtle disdain, because while he had known that his group mates would likely not be other high elves, he hadn't quite been prepared for Galemnli people. A dwarf would have been preferable, nevertheless there was no backing out now. "Did I miss anything?"
