Frost laughed. "Don't play dumb with me! ...You're not from this universe. You used to be human! But that changed somehow. Never have I heard of or seen an instance of somebody just changing species like that. It shouldn't be possible! But I've been proven wrong before..." She couldn't keep herself from smiling. "With everything you've seen, I have a lot to learn from you!"

Austin's neck fur rose. "So what!? It happened to my brother too, and he's dead!" he snarled. He paused to grimace at the memory, then continued furiously. "Touch me and I'll tear you limb from limb! I've lost patience! I've given you your chance to end this, and you blatantly refused! Clearly your little friend hasn't told you what happens to those who cross us!"
-
"-And what's that? Death? Imprisonment? Torture? I'd expect nothing less from someone of such poor judgement." Frost chuckled as she sat back into her seat. "Don't worry, once your friend down there has been dealt with, I'll be able to give you my full attention! It'll be fun, I promise! ...Er, for me, at least."
-
Austin's hackles rose and he snarled angrily. "I was told my brother's Spirit interfered twice when your two-faced Flopper-brain of a friend over there tried to take something important. I wouldn't be surprised if he chose to interfere now." he sneered. But there was no sign of Michael as Pyro began to tire. Even Mega Pokemon had a limit. So Pyro conceded defeat. "I'll make sure everyone is in the Village safely." the Charizard called. "Especially Rosa." with a sad nod, the deputy turned and flapped off. Shocked howls rose from the warriors below as they were forced to turn and run for Lamarkie. Tai began to vanish as well. I'll make sure the Red Foxes and Jackals get to safety.
-
"Oh?" She leaned out of the cockpit for a better view. "Well! It looks like your friends are leaving you for dead!" She exclaimed gleefully.
Moneybags stared wide-eyed at the screen in front of him. That... worked? He stood up, suddenly invigorated by the victory. "Yes!" He laughed. "Frost, I love you! You're the absolute best, you know that?"
"Of course I am! How else could I be so good at my job?" Frost boasted as she looked on.
-
Austin's jaw hung open. Not again! We've been through so much already! The memory of Dark Enerjak's attack was still fresh in everyone's mind, even after several moons, and a fight against Enerjak Prime. Growling, he began to struggle. I lost my brother to Finitevus, my sons to the War of Darkness, and Fox vanished fighting Dark Enerjak! I won't give up now! I won't lose anyone else! he bared his teeth in a snarl. My name is Austin Smith. I am the only surviving Washington native in the Four Worlds. I am the leader of the Storm Fighters, and I will not give up now!
-
The claw's grip tightened on Austin. "It's fine if you won't cooperate. I have a lot of ways to get information out of people!" She assured before closing the cockpit and steering the robot towards the ship. On the ground, squads of soldiers cautiously made their way towards the base, with guns raised.
-
Austin winced and gave one last look at the fleeing warriors. It's over. We lost. The Alliance stood strong through both Wars, and Dark Enerjak's takeover. Even with Boulder in my place, I fear the Alliance will not stand through this. Spirits help us all.
Down on the ground, Boulder hung back from the other warriors to howl his rage. "If you come near this village, I'll claw that smug look off your ugly face!" he roared. "We will get Austin back! You have no right to hold him!" his venting over, he turned and hared after his Teammates. Spirits willing. He thought. All the times Finitevus had tried to capture Austin, the warriors had rescued him. I'll save you Austin, if it's the last thing I do.
-
The soldiers began taking shots at the fleeing warriors, while some others started searching the buildings.
The ship's hangar doors opened as Frost lowered the Chaos Wyvern into it. It landed alongside various other aircraft. Many of them appeared to be combat vehicles, while others were more for transportation. The claw maintained it's grip on Austin while her hovercraft detached from the cockpit. "Like them? I designed them all myself!" Frost remarked as she flew down.
-
Austin bared his teeth in a snarl. Arrogant Flopper-face. He thought with an angry twitch of his tail. If Finitevus finds out about this, no doubt he'll never let me hear the end of it. Considering his and Infinite's constant mocking of our reliance on each other. he twitched his ears with a low growl.
-
She snorted with disgust. "You don't have to be so rude about it!" Frost sighed as she pressed a button that released Austin from the Wyvern's tail, which reverted back to it's gun form. Another claw shot out from her hovercraft to catch him.
-
Austin winced as pain briefly flared in his back from an old injury. "I wouldn't be growling so much if you hadn't done any of this! I did say that if you had chosen to negotiate, I wouldn't be forced to fight! Count yourself lucky I don't wipe that smug look off your fuzzy face!" he spat with a minor groan in his voice. "We may be fierce warriors, but we prefer peace just as much as anyone else."
-
"Well, maybe we can still negotiate with your friends over in Lamarkie. Maybe we can even use you! ...That's not my decision, though." Frost replied, flying past the machines and out of the hangar. "Right now, you're on board the Overseer, the flagship of the Multiplex Empire's vast and powerful navy!-...." She stopped "Why.... why is it a navy? It's in the sky..." Frost mumbled to herself.
-
"At this rate, they're more likely to fight. Even if Boulder's leading them." Austin growled. "Right now, you're trespassing on Alliance land, and have committed numerous crimes otherwise." he added sarcastically.
-
"If they won't comply, we'll just have to use force. It's as simple as that." She stated, ignoring his comment.
"Frost! What are you doing?" Moneybags' voice interrupted.
"Taking Austin to the brig. Why?"
"I need you at the bridge for- wait, Austin?! You've captured him?" He questioned excitedly.
"Yeah?... I thought you saw that."
"This opens quite a few doors for us! Never mind that, keep doing what you're doing. I'm capitalizing on this posthaste!" He said before going silent.
Uneasiness welled up inside Frost. "What do you mean? Moneybags?" She waited for a moment before sighing. "He never listens..." An elevator opened up for them, and she entered.
On Angel Island, Moneybags grabbed his Warp Ring as it closed and looked around. He knew this was risky, especially so considering his attempt at sabotaging Finitevus before he left, but figured it was worth a try. There's no way he would pass this up. It's an offer he can't refuse.
-
"Tch! I don't know why you bother with that Flopper-face." Austin sneered. "He was all too happy to turn us over to Dark Enerjak when he was around, and it nearly broke us all apart." And I was forced to flee to the Wandering Wolves. he thought with a twitch of his ears. He still remembered seeing Boulder's tired and bedraggled patrol from Lamarkie arriving with the Red Foxes before the Lycanroc had the audacity to suggest an alliance with Finitevus. I'm never going to trust that smug Flopper-brain again. I will always remember that it was him who killed my brother and caused the War that killed both of my sons.
In the village, Boulder balanced on a barrel as he did a headcount, listing everyone out loud while beside him, Monty wrote down on a pad with Dimitri at his side. Crystal worked her way through the crowd. "Boulder! Please! We have to find my Pack!" she called. "It's clear this Moneybags person hates Lycanroc. So why not bring more?" Boulder twitched his tail and finished his headcount and looked at her. "You told us you had a Pack before this whole ugly mess started, when you met us on Angel Island. After the fight, you said you lost your Pack. Now you're saying we have to find them." he said sternly. Crystal opened her jaws to protest, but Boulder raised a paw to silence her. "We cannot know what parts of what you've said are the truth. We don't know who any of your supposed Packmates are, so Silver and Storm can't find them; I won't know what I'm looking for if I have a vision, and neither will Arrow if we can contact him." "I dunno. It may be worth the extra hands-or in this case paws-if we can find them." Monty broke in. "I must agree with him. At this point, we need all the help we can get." Dimitri remarked. Boulder sighed. "Fine. Once everyone's settled, I'll figure out a patrol to look for your Pack."
-
Her ears perked up. "And what went wrong?" She asked, despite already knowing. Her paw hovered over the control panel as she reconsidered their destination. Screw it, I'll lock him up later. Frost thought as she pushed a button, and the elevator rose.
Moneybags came upon the Dark Legion lab, eyeing it cautiously. Maybe I can do without them.... the Base was taken easily enough, so the village shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Everything after THAT will be smooth sailing. He hesitated for a moment before stepping inside. I can't take that risk, though. It never hurts to have some extra hands.
-
"Flopper-face!" Austin barked after her. Good riddance is what I say! he thought with an angry growl.
At the lab, a Midnight Lycanroc-the rogue Lycus-plodded around, patrolling. He sensed someone entering, and found Moneybag. "Well! Look who decided to come crawling back eh?" he sneered. "Let me guess, you want to come begging for forgiveness huh?"
-
(My bad, I forgot to clarify that Frost was holding Austin in the elevator with her.)
Moneybags stepped back in surprise. "Erm... not quite. Rather, I've come with a reasonably lucrative offer for Dr. Finitevus. That is- if he's here." He explained.
-
(Ah)
Lycus snorted. "He is. The real question is whether or not he'll want to hear it. I heard he wasn't too happy when you just vanished fighting some warriors.
