  • CougarBlaze

The tom was nearly the same.

But this time was different. he was abandoned at a young age, left to the care of a foster Queen on the Outskirts of a city.

Named Cougar for his near startling likeness to one of the giant beasts that were said to roam the far off mountains, sometimes brought in by Twolegs to be kept in clear sheet enclosure in things they called “zoos”.

but sadly, that all ended when a group of cats came falling on their sheltered area. claws and teeth sang during the night, caterwauls echoing off the alleyways walls.

(i dont like this puffin browser. i am deleting it off my phone. i cant even see the words im typing!)

still only at 4 moons, hed been left alone.

    cold.

    hungry.

The plains had stretched out before him now, wind tugging at his fur. Giant lizards provoked their land, some BloodClan group had the audacity to request half their prey every once in awhile.

And CougarBlaze grew tired of it all pretty quickly.

this was not the WindClan he once knew.

    this was far from it.

  • also the last few parts are his current living he is now a full fledged warrior just couldnt see the words and am now hunting for a new browser besides Google, google chrome, Firefox, and Edge cause im already using all those

  • "What are we looking at?", the maine coon asked as he came up next to the other warrior, staring into the distance with slight confusion. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary, really. The vast plains, sure, but he was used to that by now. No, this guy had to be looking at something else, or maybe he was just lost in thought. Oops. Considering Bear's loud voice, he had probably messed up said thoughts by now. "Ah... I'm Bearstorm by the way. I hope I'm not interrupting anything?", he asked curiously, tilting his head slightly as he turned towards the other, offering him a faint smile in greeting. He hadn't really met Pumablaze before, so maybe today would change that.

  • A loud voice hits his ears and he turns, claws nearly unsheathing. Thoughts of redeeming WindClan from their tyrannical “king” who was taking half their food they were catching were scattered.

“Of course you’re not. Just... thinking.” He mews, an ear flicking.

  • CLOVERPAW

There were plenty of cats within WindClan that Cloverpaw wasn't entirely familiar with, but it didn't bother her so much. It didn't seem any different from being a stranger to the cats in all the other clans, and there were just too many to get to know everyone on a super personal level.

But that didn't mean that she didn't enjoy meeting a new face. On the contrary, Cloverpaw's number two hobby - right behind sleeping - was making new friends! Hearing her mentor's voice, she skipped up to the older warriors and plopped herself at Bearstorm's side with a lazy grin. She'd noticed the other cat staring into the distance, but it didn't seem that odd to her. "Don't sweat it, I space out all the time when I'm thinking," she said, her voice high and proud as if she were offering genuine advice.

  • He nodded, not sure whether or not he wanted to ask what he’d been thinking about. Considering that’d be rude, this was their first proper conversation after all, he decided against it. “It happens to everyone every once in a while” the warrior meowed, responding to his apprentice’s remark about her having spaced out in the past as well. It wasn’t particularly strange for someone to just stare into the distance... Even though those thoughts mostly were either very good, or very bad.

“So... any plans for today? Any patrols you’re on?” If not, then he could take him along with the hunting patrol. And he was quite sure Cloverpaw wouldn’t mind tagging along as well.

  • Ah, so he wasn’t the only one. Good to know...

Plans? Not that he knew of.

“I don’t have any plans, or patrols as of yet..” he answered, tail flicking behind his form.

  • Awh, where they about to leave camp again? Firekit hated having to stay in camp. It was sooo boring. Nothing interesting ever happened. He just sat around like a bump on a log. The boy approached the small group, hoping to distract them from the subject of patrols so he could talk to somebody who wasn't four thousand moons old or younger than him. "W- Hi, uhm, hey, mister Pumablaze! And Bearstorm and Cloverpaw! Uhm, mister Pumablaze, do you have any cool stories? Seeing as I'm a kit 'n all. I sure do, uhm, like stories. Yep, stories are neat." It was clear as day that Firekit was just trying to distract them so they wouldn't leave camp or anything, but he really did like stories. Not boring elder stories, though. He liked hearing adventurous stories. When he got bored he liked to imagine them in his head like a movie.

  • Stories? What about hunting?

The warrior inwardly snarls. Insolent orphaned curr...

    (Ic opinions I sorry)

His gaze turns to the younger kit, offering a smile, totally faked smile by the way, to the small kit with the x-shaped scar.

“Stories? Why don’t you go bother the Elders for stories? We are busy.”

  • "You could at least ask nicely, Pumablaze", Bearstorm meowed, flicking his ears as he turned towards the young child with a faint smile. if there was one thing that kept the beast inside him calm, it was a child. "But he's right. If we don't go out to hunt, then the whole clan is going to get hungry. You understand that that's not a good thing, right?", he purred, flicking his tail in the process. He could understand the desire for stories (he was oblivious to the child's plan), but he wasn't exactly the best to tell them. Heck, he didn't even have any stories. And knowing the elders, they would probably come up with quite spectacular ones.

  • Hm, it seemed Firekit was not good at getting his way. First no to leaving camp, then no to stories. He wasn't going to throw a tantrum, though. He would simply frown and try again some other day. But golly, camp was boring. He glanced between Pumablaze, who seemed rather intense (jeepers!) and Bearstorm, who was as wise as ever. Gosh, he was so cool. "Okie doke- I mean, yes sir, sirs." Firekit nodded. He'd get 'em eventually.
