    Bluepaw nodded back, smiling softly and grabbing a bundle to help. She made her way in beside Sunpaw, working to put everything in order.

    Duskclaw

    Exiting the nursery once more, the she-cat swept her gaze across the camp before taking a seat. She began to groom her pelt for the second time that day; ever since moving to the nursery, her boredom often resulted in monotonous tasks such as cleaning her fur. Duskclaw managed to retrieve a rather stubborn burr on her shoulder and, satisfied, decided to sunbathe. Rolling onto her back, a content purr escaped her throat as she tucked her forepaws to her chest.


    (I think Copperstorm lost interest in the thread; Spottedtail's been waiting on Darkpaw and Snowstep for awhile)

    (If Copperstorm's not active by tomorrow, I think I'll have to remove their cats from the roster. That means the medicine cat position might be open again by the end of tomorrow for anyone interested~)


    Wolfstar gave a thoughtful nod and frowned. "Right. I think there might be some predators making their nests on the borders of our territory. I think for the time being, no cat should go out alone, and apprentices shouldn't leave camp without a warrior to accompany them. We don't want any cat to get ambushed out there." The leader wanted to take plenty of precautions; he wasn't going to let any of his clanmates get injured or worse if he could help it.

    "I agree, I never found anything, but something is out there, just not sure what. Should I let everyone know, or will you hold a meeting?", Tigerwood asked the leader, he was ready for whatever he wa told to do.

    Bluepaw padded back out of the elders den and waved her tail in greeting to the leader and deputy. Her fur was littered with moss and she was irked by it but kept her positivity about, grabbing a mouse from the freshkill pile, tail high in the air.

    ooc:I could put in a form for med cat if so.



    Mossystone padded over to Duskclaw and laid down next to the queen "Hello Duskclaw, how's sleeping in the nursery rather than the warriors den?" she asked, a smile on her face. She didn't have much to do at that moment so she figured spending a little time with the other she cat wouldn't hurt for a while. Mossystone couldn't help but to wonder what it would be like being a mother.


    Sunpaw finished rearranging the moss in the elders den before padding over and sitting next to Bluepaw, she chuckled slightly when she noticed that some moss clung to the other apprentice's fur. She flicked her tail on Bluepaw's shoulder, knocking off some of the moss "Looks like you got something in your fur Bluepaw." she meowed in a friendly tone.

    She chuckled, "It's the issue with cleaning out the moss. It always gets trapped in my fur." She began licking her chest fur, getting the few extra pieces out of it. The mouse sat between her paws, momentarily forgotten as she conversed with her fellow apprentice.

    Wolfstar glanced around the camp. "A few cats are still out; once they return, I will announce it to the clan." Spotting the two apprentices nearby, the leader purred softly in amusement. "Hello, you two. I assume you've been keeping busy?"

    Sunpaw looked up from Bluepaw to Wolfstar and nodded "Yes Wolfstar, been busy today. Getting closer to my warrior name. Anything you need me to do?" she meowed proudly to the older tom. She had noticed that he and Tigerwood had been talking for quite some time and she wondered if the deputy mentioned how quiet the territory was that morning. Her tail wrapped around her back paws

    Sounds good to him. Tigerwood followed his leader as he went over to the apprentices. He heard Sunpaw and smiled. "That's good, so Rabbitears wisdom is sticking with you then? Oh and good work on patrol this morning.", he said watching the female. He knew that Rabbitears was a good teacher, so he wasn't surprised if she was close to be becoming a warrior. The more warriors the better.

    Rabbitears joined in as well. She listened to Sunpaw and Tigerwood and chimed in, "Yes, she is doing very well. I can't imagine she will be apprentice much longer, I am running out of things to teach her. You should have seen our spar earlier, best we have had.", she said with a beaming eyes. She was proud of her apprentice and knew she'd make a formidable warrior yet.

    Bluepaw purred up at her mentor, dipping her head. "Forest was quiet this morning and the camp needed some work done so we've been trying to keep ourselves busy," She meowed, curling her tail over her paws. "Is there something you want us to do?" she meowed, tilting her head.

    Sunpaw looked from Rabbitears to Tigerwood "Rabbitears is a great mentor, i just hope that when I do become a warrior I can continue to make everyone proud." she meowed, her fur puffing out a bit. She looked over at Bluepaw as she spoke "Yeah, the busier we are the more we can help the clan, right?" she meowed warmly. Her tail unwrapped from her legs and swished happily back and forth.

    "I'm glad to hear it!" Wolfstar purred cheerfully before addressing the apprentices again. "Would you two mind checking up on Duskclaw and the kits? See if they need anything. And Bluepaw, I'm going to take you out hunting tomorrow, so be ready, okay?" Bluepaw showed great promise as a warrior and Wolfstar was happy to train her. He hoped to help her with any difficulties she might be having, to help her become an even better warrior.

    Duskclaw

    The queen flicked her ears as she heard paw-steps approaching. She opened one eye to see Mossystone laying down beside her and gave a friendly purr. "Well, it's much roomier," Duskclaw joked, peering at the she-cat from her sideways position. "But I can't wait to get out of there...those two are the center of my world, but a cat needs some action or she'll go crazy!" She chuckled lightly before looking back at Mossystone. "How are things around the clan? I feel out of the loop in here."

    Bluepaw nodded. "I'm still having issue with crouching and my pounce is off i think," She meowed, " but we'll see to Duskclaw." She nudged Sunpaw before bending to eat the mouse at her paws. She rose and padded to the queen, waving her tail happily.

    Tigerwood went over to Wolfstar. "I'm going to take Rabbitears and check out that border area we talked about earlier, if that is fine with you. I just want to make sure nothing is waiting to ambush us later.", he said. He figured him and Rabbitears could handle it, Rabbitsears was a capable warrior.

    Rabbitears perked her ears, hearing the deputy say her name. She listened to see if the leader approved, she didn't mind going. She was quite curious what was causing the silence. Maybe they could figure it out.

    "We'll work on that." Wolfstar promised, nodding at the young she-cat as she went to check on the queen sitting in front of the nursery. Hearing the deputy suddenly speak to him, he turned around and paused for a moment. "... Alright, that's fine. Just make sure to be careful out there, alright? If you see anything out of the ordinary, be sure to report it to me. It would be helpful to know what exactly we're dealing with here."

    OOC: No fancy since controlling 2 charies at once


    Tigerwood dipped his head. "We will, I'll let you know if we find anything.". he said to Wolfstar. He noticed that Rabbit ears was already ready so he didn't have to call her. They left together and headed north, where the unusual quiet was. He knew that something was there, but didn't know what. As they arrived, yet again it was quiet.


    "Quiet again.", Rabbitears commented. She admittedly was nervous, not knowing what would happen.


    "Indeed it is, keep your eyes open, I don't like it.", he said padding forward. He heard a twig snap and froze.


    Rabbitears heard it to. Her ears laid flat as she focused on where the noise came from. All of a sudden a black mass jumped out of the bushes and pinned her to the ground. She kicked him, but he was too strong and he held on.


    Tigerwood hissed and jumped and headbutted the rogue and gave him so good claw marks to his head. The rogue jumped off her and focused on the deputy.

    Sunpaw looked at Bluepaw as she was nudged, she gave a nod before standing up and padding over to the nursery towards Duskclaw. She smiled as she approached the queen and noticed that Mossystone was laying beside her as well "Hello Duskclaw, Mossystone. Wolfstar wanted us to see how you and the kits are doing Duskclaw." she meowed warmly to the queen. She sat down near the queen before looking towards Bluepaw to see if she was going to sit or wanted to stand.


    Mossystone smiled as she saw the two apprentices coming forward "Hello young ones." she meowed. Mossystone's tail wrapped around her back legs as she listened to them.

    Tigerwood thought he was ready. He ran forward expecting to get an attack in. The rogue sidestepped him and clawed him in the face. He yowled in pain as blood began to seep from the wound. He was lucky the claws didn't touch his eye.


    Rabbitears quickly jumped and smashed her paw to his head, knocking him to the ground. She didn't want to kill him, but he was an obvious threat. She leaned down and bit into his neck, blood began to pour out of the wound. He began to struggle, but went limp minute later. She closed her eyes and looked over at the deputy. "You alright?", she asked him.


    "Yea, almost lost an eye, but OK.", he said sighing. He had same feeling as her, he never wanted to kill another cat.
