Our Trio {PRIVATE}

1: Dorian came from a long line of agents on his mother's side and joined her in the Organization as soon as he was old enough, so having his family eventually get mixed up in this is definitely on the table.

also, could use a mini-plot that makes him question his loyalty to the Organization which is the only thing he's ever believed in, because angst. any ideas on that?

2: as for Darcy, maybe her strengths can be turned into weaknesses for a plot. like her comedic relief, they could have the need to find a diplomatic solution for something (getting the police to look the other way?) but have the option taken off the table by just the wrong witty remark at just the wrong time from Darcy. Dorian would be pissed because he's a goody two-shoes and Andrew could be annoyed because it sets back the mission (or another reason? idk) while Darcy could think she's justified because all she's done is bring out the other party's true colors. and when the protagonists have a reason to be mad at each other theres like 1000x potential for shit to go down ;)

2.5: also, an idea I haven't really fleshed out yet, but: Andrew and Dorian have hated each other's guts for a long time, but I'd assume they've never had a really big fight because they both put the mission first. now that they don't have a particular target to focus on, they have time to realize just how much pent-up anger they have for each other, leading to a trade of insults that escalates into a fight. meanwhile some new threat comes up, but for once they're too busy being mad at each other and it's up to Darcy to work out a stable peace between them before it's too late

3: Andrew seems to try to make himself untouchable by distancing himself from everyone, so a fun plot might be to either cause him to open up or to drive him to be even more distant. what if he finds out his former partner secretly betrayed him somehow before dying, in a way that Andrew tries to fix on his own, fails, and is forced to swallow his pride and ask the trio's help? maybe he doesn't even have to ask - Dorian could notice something's up and ask Darcy to follow Andrew, where she'd find him in trouble, bring Dorian back with her (or not) to save him and voila, free synergy. or maybe, Andrew actually does defeat the ghosts of his past utterly alone, the one person he trusted the most has betrayed him and now he lives with the constant suspicion that his own teammates are out to get him. 100% up to you and what direction you want to take his development, if anywhere.
