Ruben approached with caution. He put a hand on her back and stayed in front of her "what's wrong?"

Jenny tried to relax for him, giving another sniffle. "I m-made the family upset. Becuase i left, you a-and mom are hurt..."

Ruben felt weird "I'm not hurt.."he confessed "I just didn't want to hurt you again."he gently hugged her

Jenny sniffled, letting her face hide in his shoulder. "Well, even still, moms torn up about it..."

"She's been stressed..she just missed you. It's tough that her duaghters living with someone else. It makes her feel like a failure..she just wants you happy.."he rubbed her back some "I know it's tough but we can get through this"

"She knows..we all know..she doesn't blame you Jen "he hushed "it's just going to take time.."he wouldn't pressure her to move in. He just wanted her ok. Of course he was torn up about her relationship with this zak guy. He loved her to bits still

Jenny cried her way home, just letting it out and hoping no one heard or saw.

Ruben sat in his room. He had to accept the Jenny found someone better than him and it hurt. He knew he would still love her for a while. Jessie had fallen asleep crying. Sneak couldn't take this much longer

Jenny went to bed the second she got home. It tore her apart seeing him, after everything.

That's what Ruben had feared. Why he's stayed away. He stayed awake regretting talking to her. He passed out around morning the next day. Jessie hadn't found the strength to get out of bed
