sidenote, how do you guys feel about reflecting on the given identity of the ruins?? so in the past, the ruins has been known for a bloody group of murderers but is now having a conflicting outlook since its been so long since the old days and are molding into more than that due to hypokrisis' leadership taking things in a totally different direction, the ruins has become more so a place where those who were unloved, damned, forgotten, and exiled gather and have a distinct brotherhood between. they aren't so much into just starting things for no reason any longer but still go extremely over the top if they are threatened and are ruthless in their counterattacks, typically smashing their enemies (regardless of their crime against them) into the ground.

something like that? like i'm really down for a strong bond between most of the characters, like a kindship or something even if they are hella barbaric lmao

That would be super interesting and def justified. The vibe I get from the ruins is a valley full of ghosts that has zero chill when their graves are desecrated but also lowkey just want to be left alone and wouldn't hurt anyone if they just didn't disturb or were respectful. The community feels like a family of tired warriors who just want to sleep in the sun and heal their wounds. Like, a place of quiet reflection about the past and possible futures
