Diana remained silent, moving even after her moder had left.

*Crystal forced a smile, looking over "H-heh, I know the feeling..."

Diana flinched, clenching her teeth.

*Sonic looked over slowly "Who...?"
"Long story..."

“I wonder if jumping off the balcony would kill me,” Diana muttered bitterly.

*Sonic sighed "Well, sorry to cut it short Diana, but... I better get after your mother... see you soon." He turned, walking out.

Diana sat there in silence, her throat closing.

*Crystal sighed softly, shutting her eyes

“No one could stop me,” she chuckled weakly, putting a hand to her face. “Im too fast for anyone to catch...”

*Crystal's ear flicked softly as she opened an eye, looking over.

“The balcony’s probably too short, though... m-maybe i should just... find a bridge... can’t swim anyways...”

“Which bridge is the closest to here... if im lucky, my dad wont notice until its too late...”

“I think... Emerald Coast bridge... if i remember...” Diana began to slide her feet off the bed.

"...?" Crystal watched slowly, unsure.

Diana stood up, stumbling slightly, then started heading to the door.

*She shut her eyes and stood up slowly, looking over to her.

Diana looked back at Crystal, eyes hollow as she leaned against the doorway. “Keep reading your books, m’kay?” She muttered weakly.
