He straightened and quickly nodded, eyes wide.
"Alright, get in!"
He straightened and quickly nodded, eyes wide.
"Alright, get in!"
Diana zipped in, looking around.
Amy looked up from the couch. "Diana? Crys?"
Sonic closed the door behind them, looking over slowly.
"What happened?"
“So you know that group Crys and I joined...?” She looked up at him weakly.
Sonic went quiet, his ears flattening with weak eyes.
"Yea...?"
She looked away for a moment, falling silent. “They’re a fuckin’ cult,” she muttered.
"Hold up..." Sonic mumbled, ears flattening "I heard that correctly? A cult?"
Diana grit her teeth. "Theyre a cult, and they trapped a god in a set of armor! They almost got Crys, too! After torturing her for hours..." the girl was trembling harshly, despite trying to keep up a tough front. "I know you've dealt with gods before, so i went to you..."
"..." Sonic nodded silently, kneeling down and softly resting a hand on Diana's shoulder.
"Alright... take care of Crys, yourself... do whatever you need to, ok? Your mother should be back shortly." He leant forward to gently kiss Diana's forehead.
"Just stay safe and stay low, alright kiddo? There might not be time to grab GUN..." He turned towards a small cabinet, opening it and reaching in to pull out the leather pouch.
"So I'm heading straight for them. Do you know where they are now?"
Diana watched him, her eyes widening slightly. "W-Wait," she said weakly, taking a step forward. "Y-You're going to fight them all by y-yourself??"
He looked to her with soft eyes and a slow nod.
"There might not be time to get help... or at the most, I can stall them until help does arrive."
He smiled lightly and lifted a hand, doing his signature finger wag.
"If I can handle a monster that lived in all timelines at once... I think a cult could be a jog in the park."
"But - but they have a literal god! Not to mention some... weird sheep who has fire powers..." She grit her teeth as her ears flattened. "Wh-What if you can't--"
"I've fought gods before..." He smiled lightly "It'll be like fighting Perfect Chaos and Spirit all over again..."
He knelt down to her slowly, putting the sack over his shoulder.
"I promise... I'll come out of this alive; I'm not letting some nut jobs take me down..."
knelt down to her? she ain't that short xD also, sorry if I got the location wrong, i don't think it was said where they were exactly dfklsfjdskal;)
Diana bit down on her lip and weakly nodded. "F-Fine... th-they're in a square directly in the middle of Central City..."
(I know, he just wants to be eye-level with his daughter... even if it's not that much of a difference xD
It's fine, to be fair Null had moved away from the rest of them at the time, so they could of moved while Crys and Diana were busy)
"Alright, thanks Dia..." He smiled lightly "Amy should be back soon, so just stay safe... I'll be back as soon as I can."
He turned and started walking towards the door... only to boost into a sprint milliseconds later.
but... where were they initially xD)
Diana weakly looked down at the girl in her arms, her ears drooping.
(They were at the park originally, but then moved xD)
Crystal was still quiet in her arms, keeping her face pressed into Diana's shoulder.
The tears had long since dried up, her chest heaving with quite breaths.
The old feelings of pain, abuse, loss... they had started resurfacing again; much to her dismay.
She opened her mouth to speak but simply shut it; her ears flattening against her skull.
Diana trembled slightly as she held Crystal, torn between following her father and staying with her girlfriend. She swallowed and walked over to the counter, picking up the phone and dialing her uncle Tails. The other hand continued to cradle Crystal close to her protectively.
Crystal stayed silent and started curling up into a small ball
"Hello, Tails speaking?"
"Uncle Tails, it's me, Diana," the pink hedgehog rasped weakly, cradling Crystal closer. "Dad needs help. There's a cult attacking central city, and they're controlling a god at the forefront of it... I don't know what you can do, but if someone could -could get out there to help him, or maybe we could let the city know to evacuate, I-I don't know..." Tears began to roll down her face, her voice thick with emotion. "I-I can't do anything right now, b-but people might die, Uncle Tails..."
