    “Fine.” Bailey mumbled. It was then that the doorbell rang and she was quick to act, knowing it was probably the food she had ordered not too long ago.


    Austin set the other twin down and followed Bailey to the front door, figuring she might need help if they had ordered a lot of food.

    Melody placed her focus on her children and did what she normally does to lull them to their sleep.


    Jay went into the kitchen to get proper utensils as he didn’t trust the plastic ware when he eats anything.

    Bailey paid for the food and Austin carried it in for her and set it down on the counter. Once it was set down, Bailey rummaged through the bags and placed all the contains out on the counter neatly foreveryone to pick from and filled their plates. Once it was all set she walked to Jay and gave him a brief kiss, not able to help herself, then she called out to the others. “Come get some good guys.”

    Jay grinned, having returned her kiss before filling up his plate. “It all smells good.” He chirped.


    Melody grins, looking up from her daughters. “About time!” She said in a hushed tone and went to the kitchen to get some food.

    Bailey did the same as jay, filling up her plate with as many different things as she possibly could.

    Austin too filled his plate, even stacking his food up higher so that he could fit even more, what could he say? He was hungry after all. “I think this was a great idea.”

    “Of course it was.” Melody hums, settling back onto the couch with her plate in her lap. “Now is the movie ready to play?”


    Jay kissed Bailey’s cheek, encouraging her to sit next to him again as he started to eat his rice first.

    Austin moved to sit next to his fiancé and lifted up the remote to the tv. “Yeah, I’m hitting play now.” He told her, then set it down once more so that he could start eating.


    Bailey was quick to follow Jay over to the couch and sat next to him, sitting close so that even though they were eating, her shoulder was brushing up against his.

    Something he didn’t mind at all. He does plan on pulling her into his lap after they eat so they can cuddle together during the rest of the movie.


    With a satisfied smile, Melody dug into her food hungrily.

    Bailey had gotten home not too long ago, she and Melody had gone to her doctor appointment and returned quite satisfied, with a sonogram in hand. Though she kept it hidden from Jay, at least until she could find the best way to tell him the news. It’s how she found herself in their shared bedroom with a grin on her face. She had had taken the sonogram and taped it to the top of a box that she then used a stool to place at the very top of their closet. She then got rid of the stool and called down to Jay, assuming he was up to something with Austin. “Jay can you come help me for a second?” She called out. She was of course going to ask for help getting the box down, claiming to be too short. When he grabbed the box and pulled it down, he would see what she really wanted him to.

    Bailey was standing in the room in front of the open closet, when Jay appeared she let out a sigh and pointed up at the box. “I need something out of that box but I can’t reach it.” She explained. “I figured you could help since you’re a big strong man.” She said playfully.

    He laughs. “Step aside love, let me get that down for you.” With that, he reached up to get the box. He pulled it down to notice something on top of it. Of course it took him a moment to realize what it was and looked at Bailey. “Are you...?” He asked, pulling the sonogram off the box.

    Bailey could hardly contain her excitement as Jay reached for the box, and even more so when he inspected the image in front of his eyes. She was holding her hands up to her mouth, hiding the smile that was there as she nodded her head and rushed over to him in excitement, throwing her arms around him in a hug.

    Bailey giggled as he spun her around and made sure to cling onto him tightly. “Only a couple of weeks.” She told him. “I went to the doctors for the first time today. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before it, but I really wanted to surprise you this way.” She said with a grin. “And judging by your face, you definitely seem surprised.”

    “Me too Jay.” Bailey said before standing on her toes a bit to give him a gentle kiss. “I’m going to have to call your mother before the day is over, I promised I’d tell her right away when this happened.”

    Bailey thought about it for a moment and then nodded her head. “That’s a great idea actually. We can stop by the diner and tell her, maybe after I’ll have her start teaching me her baking secrets. I have to start sometime.”
