  • (I’m gonna wait a few posts for Austin to wake up and get started with their plot since it’s considered early in the morning for them.)

Bailey woke up earlier than she usually would. She wanted to dress up that morning and work on her appearance, just to make Jeremy all the more jealous and angry that he had lost her. Was it the best idea? Probably not, but she did it anyway. It was 7:30 by the time she was ready and she knew Jay would be checking on her any minute.

  • (Makes sense)

As promised, Jay checked on Bailey at 7:30 to see if she was ready. He wore a deep blue button up shirt, a pair of tan slacks, and black dress shoes. He figured it was best to look nice when facing an ex like this morning. “Bailey? Are you ready to go?” He asked, knocking on her door.

  • Bailey opened her door, she was wearing a white dress, with a colorful flowery print on it which made it to about mid thigh and a black cardigan to keep herself warm. She opened the door and glanced over Jay with a raised eyebrow. “Hm, nice to know my boyfriend cleans up rather well.” She teased.

  • He chuckles warmly, offering his hand to Bailey. “I figured it was a good idea to not look like a slob when facing your ex again. You look beautiful Bailey.”

(Imagine this, if Jeremy were to do something warranting a punch... Emily comes in and accidentally drop a cup of coffee on him in a sarcastically sweet voice. Yay or nay?)

  • Bailey couldn't help her blush from making an appearance on her cheeks. She took his hand and stepped out of her room. "Thank's Jay."

    (Definitely a yay. Definitely.)

  • "I guess so.." Bailey said with a nervous sigh.

    --

Once they arrived at the diner, Bailey was surprised to see Jeremy already there waiting for them at a table, when he saw the two enter he stood up and waved a hand in their direction, trying to get their attention.

Bailey had grabbed onto Jay's hand just before they stepped inside, when she saw Jeremy she et out a breath and began to walk in his direction.

  • "some tea would be nice." Bailey said softly to Jay before looking over at Jeremy, knowing he would have something to say on the matter.

"I already ordered you a hot chocolate...since when do you drink tea?" He asked, a look of surprise on his face.

Bailey just shrugged her shoulders. "You'd be surprised what a girl likes if you'd ever let her order for herself."

  • Jeremy finally acknowledged the other males presence and glared at him like he had done the previous day, "Jay." he said curtly.

  • Jeremy turned his gaze back over to Bailey, "You can't really expect me to believe you're dating some jerk like this can you?"

Bailey just sighed once more and closed her eyes briefly, when she opened them again she was looking at him. "Jeremy can you please just get to the point. This is already so awkward, you're making it worse."

  • “You only think I’m a jerk because I’m not eating out of the palm of your hand.” Jay said, moving his arm so it was around Bailey’s shoulders. “Stop beating around the bush and spit out what you have to say.”

  • Bailey shifted herself a bit closer to Jay as he put his arm around her, only because they were trying to convince Jeremy they were a couple....or at least thats what she tried telling herself.

Jeremy folded his arms on the table as he looked at Bailey, his jaw hardening at the sight of them, "I just-I didn't like the way things ended between us. I mean, we've been together since freshman year of high school. When you broke off the wedding...I just don't understand how you could throw away all of our history for a few little insecurities you had. I want you back Bailey, I've changed okay? I really have."

Bailey rolled her eyes "Jeremy you can't say this stuff to me!" She snapped, "Have you seen me? I've moved on, I'm done with it. . You always say that you've changed but you never do. The fact that you are saying this stuff with my boyfriend sitting right next to me...just proves my point."

  • “I knew you were going to play the ‘I've changed’ card. It’s what a possessive and even abusive punks like you would say to keep someone under their thumb. I’ve been told that when she came to you about her insecurities, you snapped and attempted to seriously harm my girlfriend. Face it punk, you can’t handle the fact that Bailey doesn’t belong to you and that she’s moved on from that life.” He said, glaring coldly at the male as he gently pulled Bailey closer as if he’s protecting her.

  • "Oh please," Jeremy said with a glare in Jay's direction, "You two aren't even actually dating. I've known Bailey for a long time. I can tell when she's lying, and I know she wouldn't enter into a new relationship so quick, it's just not something she would do."

Bailey had enough with him, she wanted to shut him up once and for all. He didn't believe them? Well there was one thing she could do to make him believe them, something she would never really do.. "You don't believe me? Well if I'm really lying, would I do this?" she asks before facing Jay, placing both her hands on either side of his face and bringing him in for a kiss, similar to the one they had 'practiced' the night before.

  • Bailey honestly didn't want to stop kissing him, it just felt..good. But, something stopped her, she wanted to see the look on Jeremy's face. When she pulled away and set her eyes on him, she wasn't disappointed.

Jeremy sat there, his mouth open, eyes open wide in shock. He sure believed them now. He glared at both of them, he was done holding his composure. "Maybe if Melody hadn't been there to 'defend' you, I could have knocked some sense into that pretty little head of yours." he said through gritted teeth, seriously debating whether o not he should lean over the table and hit someone, her or Jay he couldn't decide.

    (CUE THE COFFEE!)

  • Emily had been eavesdropping nearby and his last statement only angered the woman as she grabbed a cup... no a pot of fresh coffee. She began to walk by and “pretended” to trip, sending the entire pot to pour on Jeremy. “Whoops~, clumsy me.” She said in a thick sweet yet sarcastic tone. “Looks like all of my good coffee was wasted on scum like you.”
