Into the Future

    500 years have passed, and all of the original Mario and Sonic characters we’ve known and loved have died off. In that time, the portal access between Möbius and the Mushroom Kingdom has been closed off for unknown reasons... but now it has opened up once more after 200 years of not having access


    In the time that has passed, since All the humans in the world have died off, the Mushroom Kingdom is now ruled by Toads, and have made peace with the next door Koopa Kingdom, and so everything is peaceful, or at least it appears that way.


    We follow Violet and Shellock, a Toad with a purple head and a koopa respectively, both the children of the current ruling families, who have decided to step into the neighboring universe for the very first time...


    (And we go from there)

    (OK! Gonna use a mixture of ideas for future Mobius)


    The once warring world seemed finally at peace; perfect harmony between nature and industry.

    Ruins lay covered in moss with rusted metal; showing severe signs of aging.

    A sign stuck out near the portal that read- "Welcome to New Mobius; where civilisation and nature come together."

    “‘New Mobius’... not entirely sure why the ‘new’ in its title is needed, but I’m not going to question it, yet..” Shellock said with a smirk


    “Shellock, you better not be trying to cause trouble. Remember what our parents told us-“


    “I know, I know we have to make a good impression so that our neighbors will like us. Big whoop-de-doo, Violet. From what I read in old history books, this place and the Kingdom got along fine. What could possibly go wrong?”

    *Standing there was a young woman; she appeared human apart from the small tail poking from above her waist, triangular ears poking out of her blue hair which itself was long but curved back.

    "A pleasure to meet you at last."

    “That’s a nice name!” Violet complimented


    “If I may ask, Miss, what makes this place so ‘new’ compared to the original Möbius?” Shellock asked curiously

    "Why thank you." She then turned to the young Koopa "Apart from all the zones becoming united in one fair rule and the advancements in technology and ecology, not really much. The name change was mostly so that people could try and start anew; wanting to forgot the horrors from hundred's of years ago." She brushed some hair behind her ear

    *She nods slowly, smiling "Of course; please, follow me." She turned, beginning to lead them towards a city

    "And, please don't be alarmed if you don't see any other half humans like me. We're still a very... rare occurrence among births, although my descendents helped increase that chance."

    “Funnily enough, there aren’t even any humans living in the kingdom anymore, they’ve all died off. If you want to see a human in our world now, your best bet is New Donk City” Shellock said
