  • "Xiao Ming Fēng, Faunus." Fēng said as blandly as the introduction could ever be. Though he wasn't one for first impressions, he felt as though little of their time together just greeting each other would do much until they started working together.

"And, yes, I'm here for... that." Fēng could only sigh in annoyance, especially since he had no choice but to answer the call. Or, of course, he could go back to scraping up jobs as one of the now many huntsman who made the market for jobs scarcer than it had ever been. Upon hearing Arany's request for a water bottle, Fēng looked confused until he heard the human say he had turned something to gold. That, it seemed, interested Fēng more than anything else. He supposed their was no harm in asking about Arany's special power, his semblance possibly? Of course, He seemed quite desperate for water, so that concern came first. But... wait...

"What are you planning to do with the water if your touch turns it to gold?"

  • Ally chuckled, “Its not as forward as that, he just got a little scared is all.” She took out a water pouch and handed it to Arany, “Here you go Handsome, just let me know if you’re still thirsty.” She added with a sly wink.

  • "That's great and all, but I can't move my hand to take it, can you just dump it over my gloves?" Arany responded, rolling his eyes as he did so before gazing up towards the other Faunus. Feng? That was a rather odd name. "Water negates my semblance." Arany explained as he continued to struggle against his own gloves. "I don't know why, it just does..though you'll never hear me complain about it doing so." He replied before glancing back up at Ally, Arany had been the one to just vanish on everyone following everything that had happened but he was still curious as to what everyone had been up to. "So...while we wait for my semblance to fix itself, what have you been up to?"

  • Ally started pouring the water over Arany’s gloves, her expression changed as she began to talk, “Caesar and I have been around picking up jobs here and there, spent some time in Menagerie, made some good friends there. We made sure to visit Strykers grave, and Trax’s...” She spoke softer as if she found it hard to say His name, the two had grown close towards the end. Stryker was killed protecting them all, Trax’s sacrifice was the main reason all of them still drew breath. She smiled up at him, “How have you been? Staying out of trouble?”

  • Arany sighed in relief as the gold washed from his gloves, allowing him to move once more. "Thank you." He breathed as he flexed his hands, happy to be able to move them again. Upon the mention of Stryker and Trax, Arany's heart grew heavy and his demeanor noticeably changed for the worse. His fault all of his fault. It was his fault that Stryker died the way he had, his fault that he had abandoned Trax to sacrifice himself, his fault that he had let Serena die, his fault that he had lost Nichole...and it was his fault that he had allowed that damn Prussian character to crush Olivia's windpipe. Arany shook as he reached up to adjust his hat, at least Olivia though not her real name, had survived the ordeal, though noticeably damaged from it.

Arany cleared his throat as he pulled his gloves off and put them away in his pockets, not wanting to have another panic attack. To aid in this, Arany reached into his jacket and produced a flask of alcohol, taking a long draw from it. "In the north doing odd jobs and hunting the remnants of the Royalists." He replied softly after he was finished with his drink.

  • Ally booped him on the nose in order to swipe the flask from him, “Have you heard from Ragnorak at all since then?” She asked before taking a quick swig. All of them were sent to his Village but only found death and destruction, the Village had been laid to waste by a group of old and large Grimm. Afterwards, Ragnorak took a dark turn, and after the events he too had vanished. Currently He resides in a super mac Prison, for crimes of Serial Murder. Ally grew a little somber, “We knew the risks, but none of us knew we would face such danger like that. I did go and see Olivia, it was nice to talk to her again.”

  • Arany snorted, attempting to even his mood as he heard the distant cries of Grimm. "You got her to speak?" He asked as he pulled his sword from the ground and returned Tsekouri to its sheath. "I haven't seen her since she ran off with Torchwick." He confessed with a sigh. Ragnarok? Arany took a moment to think about whether or not he had actually seen the Viking the past few years or not as Arany did recall at least seeing his name. "No, I haven't seen him though I did read a newspaper in Tykol that mentioned him getting picked up for serial murder." He replied before smiling grimly. "Though why eating cereal is crime, I'll never know." Arany then turned back to Excalibur. "I have a lot to do here in the next few days, so can you just spill why we're here?"

(Interacting with OakTalon16   The Crimson King

  • Arany raised an eyebrow. "And?" He asked. As much as the male would hate to admit it, he was used to friends and allies with a taste for the more violent and dark of actions, especially after dealing with the Royalists. "It's Ragnarok, he must have had some reason for his actions." There was a tinge of doubt in Arany's voice.

  • (Sorry for the inactivity. Busy times in school)

Hunter dashed from tree to tree as he approached the meeting point listed on the scroll he had strangely recieved. He stopped as he neared the bit of forest that had been designated for the meeting. He scanned the area, and saw the strange gathering. He was perplexed by the sight of a large metallic being. As he edged forward on the branch, a smaller branch attached to his snapped loudly. He winced, knowing he had given his position away. He channeled his aura, and blended into the wood and leaves.

  • Asa froze upon hearing the familiar voice, the contact of Casers arm not being felt by him at all. His eyes widened as he stared forward though he wasn't actually looking ahead, instead falling back into the past with his team, with his friends. Eating together at lunch, collaborating in classes, training and over all just messing around and having fun with one another. They were almost like a second family in some ways, heck he even use to call Trax-... Trax... "..." suddenly his memories weren't so present, becoming more spastic while slipping slowly slowly into present reality "-!" Asa flung Ceaser arm off him, ducking under the arm as he quickly reached for his sickles and held them up to his throat, the right hands in front of him and the left hand in back "...-" lowering his tenseness Asa dropped his head and shook it slowly "Darnit, Ceaser..." he pulled his weapons back, lowering them as he closed his eyes "You really shouldn't just pop up behind people like that" Asa sighed before looking back down, his cover had been blown? Was it ever hidden... "Especially with that person being me." he looked back over to Ceaser, no smile present but a bit of scolding in his soft eyes. He wondered, did they know? They... had to "..." or maybe this was just a Faunas to Fanuas thing.

Wither had remained hanging until extra mass sent her into a scramble to regain her hanging stance, the blood running to her head not helping her in the slightest "-!?" pulling her hands together she was able to stop her decent, slowly crawling up as the faint sizzle of her acid ate away at old thread while being replaced with new. Upon crawling back up she looked up, noticing a new figure beside a zoned out Asa... wait "...Ceaser?" she whispered to herself as a feeling of dread began to well in her, however upon hearing a distant snap Wither looked up and eyed towards the incoming direction carefully, her eyes shifting as she looked into a distant tree "..." it looked normal, but something was off, appearance wise it was fine but her senses told her otherwise "..." taking 2 of her throwing daggers she embedded web into them and threw them in the direction, letting go of her current one as she dropped towards the ground. With a thunk one landed in the targeted trunk and with another acidic retraction Wither began to be sucked towards the tree, whizzing past Arnays head in a blink on the way down. Pulling towards the Tree Wither landed on it, looking around slowly as she took one dagger into her left hand and scouted over the branches.

  • Hunter slowed his breathing and continued to channel his aura, but he faltered when the dagger came at him. His aura faltered and he became visible, just as Wither landed on the branch. He pulled one of his hatchet SMGs out of its sheathe on his back, and aimed at the small girl. His finger brushed against the trigger, and his heartbeat slowed.

  • Caesar remained calm, even when Asa put blades to his neck, he kept a cool composure. His attention was drawn from Asa, but he did want to talk to him later, knowing Trax’s death was hard on him. However, Ally was faster than her brother, she activated her semblance and with a bloody stream, she appeared behind the newcomer with her cutlass drawn up to his neck. “Make your next move carefully, I just cleaned this blade, I’d hate to dirty it again so soon.” She said icily, her demeanor completely different from her interaction with Arany, her eyes glared darkly with bloodlust upon the newcomer.

“Alright alright, lets all settle down, sheath our weapons, and talk this all out.” Caesar began as he dropped from the tree branch, he stood in between Arany, Feng, and Excalibur. “I take it we all received a similar invite from this I.B.P.I, correct? Lets all gather here and exchange pleasantries, then we can learn more about this Organization that has offered us this opportunity. Besides,” Caesar grinned slyly, “I really hate acting all responsible and such, so please listen.”

Ally shot her brother a menacing glare but slowly withdrew he cutlass, sheathing it into the scabbard on her hip. She always seemed to forget Caesar used to be the Team Leader for Team CYAN, He had developed a side of himself for taking charge and being an adept Leader. Ally leaned down to Hunters ear, “A neat little semblance you got there, Hotstuff.” She said flirtatiously before winking at Wither and hoping down from the tree, skipping back to the group.

  • Wither stared up at the now unveiled individual before her, staring deep into the the barrel that lay ahead of her "..." her mouth hung for a bit before the tree shook again, another familiar grace greeting her, Caesars second half "-Ally." Withers breathing was sharp for a second, before hearing Caesar call out to them. Slowly Wither put her weapons away, staring the new person straight in the eyes, forgetting about how broken she must look "..." hearing Ally's smart remark she looked over at her just in time to catch a wink, it brought what little happiness back into her "... be careful. Okay?" she said softly, talking to the male ahead of her, then jumping down Wither carefully landed on her feet, staying down on a knee as the reflection of the barrel ran through her head "..." getting up she held the right side of her head, it hurt.

  • Hunter looked Wither dead in the eye, not showing that he had no intention of shooting. He barely flinched as Ally appeared behind him, cold metal pressed to his throat. As Caesar spoke, he thought of several ways to neautralize all of them. When Ally put her weapon away, Hunter sighed and sheathed his hatchet again. He jumped down and landed next to Wither. He glanced at her before saying quietly, "I'm sorry." He looked at Ally, the flirtatious girl who had just held a knife to his throat and raised an eyebrow.

  • Arany had merely stood in the open and blinked as, who he could only assume to be Caesar, scared Asa and..was that Wither? Out of the tree line behind him. With a yelp, Arany ducked under Wither who flew rather close to his head before landing in the shrubbery before him. After a few more moments of antics, Arany almost sighed in relief when Caesar called the group to attention. Arany offered a curt nod to Wither with a wary smile on his face, he didn't know exactly where the two stood after everything that had occurred. "And make it quick." He snapped, turning his attention to Excalibur. "I have people to find and a kingdom to fix and not a lot of time to do it. So this better be worth my time."

  • Wither was about to walk away before she noticed the boy land beside her apologize, she turned backward and smiled the best she could, it was obviously broken up "Hehe~..." she nodded and smiled, spinning back around to head towards the group. Then looking ahead she noticed Arany nod at her, her chest felt like splinters upon so but she kept walking forward "..." before the fall, it was the last time she had seen anyone of her friends, apart from Asa which she later found much closer in a way she should have expected. Seeing them again though began to stir more sorrow in her, holding back from anymore tears she walked as tall as she had landed towards the middle of the group.

Asa hoped down from the branch and landed down in what seemed to be the middle of the underbrush, twirling into a spin as if he was dancing before he stood still and held his head "Yeah, Goldies got a point" aahhhh, the nicknames were still there. Looking at the armor like humanoid he sighed and shook with the raise of his head Asa's familiar smirk returned "Some of us have meetings we have to partake in along side this, not to mention people to take care of" he glanced back at Wither "Don't take all day now, we're waiting~" teasing in his Voice Asa ignored any further relation with anyone else, mentioning Arany but not directly taking him into account.

  • Hunter gave Wither a small smile back and then turned his eyes on the rest of the group. He remained silent as the others talked, and began studying the metallic man before them. "How is that thing even alive...?" he thought to himself.

  • The girl leaned against the wall behind her, listening to the laughter and clash of drinks and muted talking on the other side of it. Sighing she ran a hand through her hair, only to pull it back down again and put it to her side. Her body ached slightly from the last set of “refinements”, brusies littered across her arms and legs, though hidden by her clothing. Taking her watch out she flipped the lid on it, checking the time and then putting it back. Her fidgeting would go on for several hours, for as long as she was obligated to stand there, beside the door.

Without much to do but stay alert foggy memories seemed to drift back and forth between her mind and reality, wondering if they were only figments of her imagination. There was no Haven left in her memory, only bits and pieces left of faces she didn’t know the names to. Tired of standing in the same place she wandered the halls, hoping to maybe catch a small break in her endless hours of work.

Arany grumbled as he hiked up the path that wove up the hillside to the city that lay at the crest, Windpath. "Why did I let them talk me into this again?" He grumbled to himself, the meeting had been a rather prompt one, with a number of gadgets being passed around and orders being delivered to essentially perform a 'fetch' quest in Atlas. Something he was less than enthusiastic to actually do. Arany stopped before the gate of the city, glaring at the guards as they ran a routine check on both himself and the group. After this, Arany pushed past them and into the city, and was promptly surprised by the lack of people moving out, it was rather late but typically there are more than a mere handful.

Arany cleared his thought before advancing down the street towards the building they were ordered to stop at before leaving for Atlas.
