Aspen hummen softly to herself, padding along the side of the road on delicate paws. A faint scent of prey...food caught her nose and she raised her cranium, sniffing, trying to get the general direction of where it was coming from. The scent was getting stronger East, and the she-cat padded towards the direction of the open roads. Her stomach growled and she flattened her ears in annoyance. A twoleg child ran up to her, screeching and screaming, and the sound blasted her eardrums at a level which made her recoil and lash out at the child. It stared at its bleeding hand and started wailing. Aspen gave a little shrug and the lithe feline strolled away from the whining twoleg as if she hadn't a care in the world. Her nose was still up. She could smell the food very close by, and she was getting thirsty too at this point of time. Watching the twolegs pass her with their noses up she sat down, curling her tail around her dark paws, and waited.

Soon enough, who she was waiting for arrived. A huge alabaster tom stalked to her out of the shadows and butted her shoulder.

"Hey there, Slash." Aspen said calmly, flicking her tail over his flank. He nodded back and sat down next to her, dropped a dead thrush at her feet.

"You asked for it." He said. "What is your goal for today?"

"I plan to go into that building there," She guestured to the pound with her chin. "And see what it is like in there, if it is possible to gather any food or sorts."

"You sure? I'd hate for you to get killed. You have a reputation on these streets, you know?" Slash murmured grimly. "Whatever you do, just don't die, okay?" He added with a smile. "Now finish your thrush and go."

She rolled her eyes and dipped her head to meet the limp bird. "Yes, mom."

  • Tyler had been living the life of luxury with his lovely owner Cameron Diaz ,she was a model for some sort of cover magazine and definitely had the money to treat him like a king. He would never think in a million year he would end of in the pound where it was dark ,dirty ,and full of ravenous animals yet here he was. Stuck inside a cramped metal cage that was most likely covered in several differnt diseases which made the tom cringe. "Let me out of here I don't belong here!" This was not the first time he had yelled this for all the world to hear sadly only the animals could here his demands of release.

Some in pound just glared at the tom and some just chuckled at his demands. Tyler hissed at them in annoyance he wanted out and he would find a way out one way or another.

Sorry for the short second on after to get ready to go soon))

  • (Which made him cringe) Oh sweetie it's okay, I have to go soon aswell~

After finishing her thrush, Aspen nodded her thanks to Slash and started walking the direction of the pound. It wasn't that Slash was scared of her, no, it was more like he respected her, or worshipped her even. She couldn't help ut let a small chuckle escape at the thought of the huge tom, respecting her. Sure she wasn't scary or fierce-looking, but she was smart and had the slyness of a fox, and that made her reputation spread amongst in the animals in this city. With a smirk playing on her lips she padded through a small narrow fence to the hard steel door of the pound and studied the building.

No humans were venturing out here, no. The space was too tight for them to fit through, but it was perfect for her. She had passed this building often on her different missions but hadn't the care to even glance at it with curiousity. Now she looked it over, tail lashing, trying to figure out a way to enter. Spotting a broken down cat-flap, she mentally snorted at the ridiculousness of it. Walkin g up to it she studied the narrow opening and tested to see if she could fit through. She could. With a smile she emerged on the other side, and spun around, immediately began ripping the enterance bigger. After she was done it was at least a whisker's length wider as before, when she was looking at it from the outside, so she could fit in easily. She turned around and looked at the trapped animals before speaking. "I thought the pound was supposed to keep the cats in, and yet here it is, an easy way of entering and exiting." She said with a wicked grin that had scared the Siamese Twins into submission oh so long ago.

  • sorry my words aren't really worded right))

Tyler contiuned to demand his release eventually dying down when it wasn't working. He found a place to plop down in the cage and glare at the ouside surroundings as if that would help the situation any ,then he saw her the queen of the streets. Tyler knew this could be his chance at freedom she had a reputation of getting in and out of the impossible. The only problem was to get here to help him she was also known for being a loner who no reguard for others. He could see some of the other animals looking at her the looks varied from good to killer worthy.

Tyler moved from his sitting postion closer to the door of his cage. "Hey you!" He snapped at her giving a quick glance around the place to make sure the lumbering human wasn't watching them at the moment or his whole plan would be ruined. "Do me a favor and come here." He once more demanded her to pay attention to him do as he asked he was not in the mood for her to be slow and meander.

  • (It's okay. Also I'm gonna assume Tyler's fat since he gets treated like a king)

Surveying the felines curiously, she noted that half of the were former kittypets and that they were half-starved. Her lip curled at the thought. She looked around and noticed the looks being shot in her direction. Some were curious, some in awe, and some with a hatred running so deep. Oh well. She thought, her lithe form moving past a snarling tabby. A horrible voice ordered her to go over. She smirked. She didn't take orders from anyone, especially not from some half-starved helpless kittypets. Glancing over, she sauntered to the direction of the voice, stopping at the edge of the cage before walking back, not sparing the tom even the laziest of glances.

"And why," she drawled, "Should I go over here and help you, whilst you're ordering me around? Don't you know who I am? I don't take orders from anybody, not dogs, not humans, and definedly not a kittypet." She finished. She was enjoying this immensely, and by the sound of it some others were too, by the way they chuckled.

She rolled her eyes, impatient as she finally rested her gaze on the cat who dared order her. She recoiled immediately, fur standing on end. "Not possible." She murmured. He was the fattest cat she had ever seen. It was a wonder how he could even walk. She shuddered in disgust and turned around again, returning the looks of hatred with a smug one of her own before speaking.

"I didn't come here to boast about my freedom. I have come here to look for a friend. Small, muscled, tortoiseshell, blue eyes? Goes by the name Sasha. Anyone see her?" She asked with a frown, ignoring the Tim who was rude to her.

  • I would prefer he wasn't overly fat with health problems but yes he is fat))

Tyler saw that didn't work so he moved on to plan B. "I may be a kitty pet but I did see your friend." Now this wasn't entirely a lie he did see her when he was first brought in the pound ,but he didn't see what happened to her. Not that it mattered to him all he wanted was out of here and to go home and he was going to get it on way or another. "But you're right you don't take orders from me." He moved back into his sitting postion and waited for her reaction he may not be the most fit tom but he was smart was smart being around people and such you learn how to lie like an expert.

  • (Okay sure)

Aspen studied the kittypet who spoke to her. "Really? When did you see her last and where? And what happened to her?" She asked, flicking a tail in his direction, head cocked. In truth, she didn't care whatsoever about this tom, but his words peaked her curiosity. She wanted to see her friend again, even if it was for the shortest amount of time. She watched him through cool orbs as he sat down, and swiveled her ears, testing for danger.

  • The tom looked up at her with an expression that almost mirrored a person raising a brow. "I could tell you where she is and such." Tyler looked her over with his green orbs stalling a bit to hopefully draw her in more. "But I will need something in return." He knew what he wanted from her and he was certain that she knew as well. She was a start savage she could figure it out one way or another. Her being smart wasn't what he was worried about he was worried about what he was goig to say when he had to tell her what happened to her friend who she was very concerned about as of the moment.

  • Aspen glanced at him through cool orbs as he mentioned that he wanted something in exchange for information. She wasn't stupid and they both knew it. He wanted freedom, like any other cat who got trapped in the pound. He seemed to think that she could get him out, feed him, and probably get him to a new twoleg so he could be trapped in a slightly bigger cage again.

"Truth is, I don't give two hells that you want out. I just want information about what happened to my friend." She walked up to his cage, narrowing her orbs as she neared. "I ask you again. Where and when did you last see her? And what happpened to her?" She finished with a deep growl trailing her voice. She had no patience for games. Along with talking to him she was thinking of a way to cheat herself out of this. The tom proved himself tricky, but she was at an advantage here. She was free. He was not.

  • Tyler was determined not to give into her trickery he wanted out. "You forget I don't have to tell you anything and I appear to be the only one with the information you want." He was not threatened by her her growls and glared while he was behind this cage door she couldn't get to him he may have felt more threatned if he was outside the cell. This was going to be complicated but he knew he couldn't give in or he wouldn't find a way out of this.

  • The she-cat shrugged and turned away from him. "Oh well. Good thing I have a nose, so I can identify her scent. I won't then have to deal with the likes of you." She murmured, padding away from him, her mouth slightly open. There were so many scents here but she could sort through them easily, so sort through them she did. Seeing that her scent was very faint, Aspen frowned. "Hmr.. I'll have to ask Slash and his buddies." She said. It's not that Slash and his company were hard to deal with, no, they feared her, but it was that one of his friends, a tom named Ink who loved to gossip and was sure to know everything that happened on the streets, absolutely loathed her. She would have to use her charm to get into his heart. She smiled and licked a tuft of fur on her chest. "Well, I have done it so many times before, so once more shouldn't do any harm." She decided before sauntering towards the little door-hole she had opened. Casting a smug gaze back at the kittypet she said, "Ciao!" And slunk through the small hole, fur brushing the edges.

  • Tyler watched her leave heavily annoyed him but he was tempted to see what was going to happen to the female who just exited. "Welp not my problem." He saw her friend being taken away after she bit a small child who tried to pet her ,who in return started crying and wialing her head off truly ear piercing. He had a feeling her friend was no more seeing how the world worked with animals now he could wait a bit longer to see if she would come back. Even if she didn't co e back he would find a way out eventually.

  • "So have you seen anything?" Aspen asked with a seductive purr, leaning over the cowering form of Ink. "Do you know what happened to my friend?" She asked again, slamming his head into the ground. He chuckled and nosed her chin. He liked being dominated, and she liked to be in control of every possible situation, except for the one just now with the kittypet. She cuffed him again. "Where is she?" She was enjoying this immensly, and by the sound of it so were Slash, Flame, and Snap too. Snap was trying his very best not to laugh, and she whipped her head around to him. "I bet I can take you on just as easy." She snapped playfully and he stopped at once. "Yes, my queen." He mocked with a smile, and she returned her gaze to Ink and kept slapping him until he gave in and told her that he saw a twoleg walk out with her. A child was following them, crying and screaming. Aspen stopped injuring the tom, still stand on top of him. "Crap." She growled, sitting on his stomach. "If twolegs left with her, then shes as good as dead. Sorry Slash. There was a dumb little kittypet in there who said he knew everything about her though, but I left him alone. He wanted freedom." She scoffed, then prodded the brooding male with her paw. "I'm sorry about your mate, SLash. I'm really sorry." She said, ears down. "Don't be. I need to find this kittypet and beat the hell out of him for not giving you information." Slash growled angrily, unsheathing his claws and scraping them across the floor. Aspen didn't stop him as he crossed the road in a sprint but followed him until he managed to find a new way into the pound. "Alright. Where's the mutt?" He snapped, glaring at the assembled felines.

  • Tyler saw they returned and he knew exactly what happened to them. "I see you have returned." He could care less th the street cats were angry at him he had gathered if to much noise was made then the other human who worked here would come and investigate especially if they were fight noises. "Oh is the savage angry?" He was perfectly fine with furthering angering the tom he enjoyed seeing them suffer and would love to see them join him in these cages.
