GLOOMCLAN
It is likely that you are not from here. Nobody seems to be willing to be here-- They've all been kidnapped when they were kits from their mothers, or perhaps kidnapped at a weak state and forced to become a member. GloomClan hasn't been a righteous, pureblooded Clan for a very long time, or at least, as long as it was formed. The history of GloomClan is dark and full of ill intentions, but one thing is for certain: If you stumble upon it, you are here to stay.
HISTORY
A long time ago, there lived the four Clans that now only exist in the legends. They were being wiped out by a strange sickness that swept through the territories, and the cats of the Clans were desperate. If you weren't picked off by the disease, cats had been driven insane and ended up killing others. StarClan had collapsed, or perhaps simply blocked themselves off from the Clans in this time of turmoil-- Nobody could speak with them. In ThunderClan, there lived a medicine cat by the name of Shortfur. Once kind and warm to others, his heart had turned to black when he watched his parents and younger siblings slaughtered by ThunderClan's deputy, Icestrike, in an act of pure rage. Similar things were happening in all of the Clans, and almost as quickly as it had begun, almost everybody was dead.
Shortfur had long since turned to evil. He rounded up any survivors from any of the Clans, and named himself Shortstar. He founded a group called GloomClan, named for the terrible gloom and doom that seemed to hang over everybody. He moved them into a new territory away from the lake in an effort to be away from the sick-infested lands, and threw everything they had ever known out.
Members are directed to steal any kittens they can find and bring them back to GloomClan to be raised into warriors. Whether this be from going into the twolegplace and taking them, or perhaps killing a rogue mother and taking her kits, any method will do. If they find an injured or weakened rogue or any other cat near their territory, they will offer them a choice-- GloomClan or death.
And now, Shortstar continues to lead with a firm grip laced with darkness. Rebel against him, and it may cost your life. Obey him, and you may be rewarded. What will you do?
TERRITORY
GloomClan resides in a thick forest full of red-leaved trees. The sunlight is constantly obstructed, making it very dark beneath the branches, and a mist constantly flows over the territory. A flowing river winds near camp, providing access to clean and safe water to drink and fish. Reference.
CAMP
Camp rests in a clearing in the forest, where tree trunks don't spring up, but the long branches and leaves still block out the sun. There is one large tree smack dab in the middle of the clearing, however, and it's within the hollow that the leader's den is. The medicine cat's den is a large hole nestled underneath the roots of the tree, and the other dens are in the bushes lining the clearing.
RULES
1. This is a moderate to advanced roleplay-- Try to have at least a paragraph or two that have something to work off of so we can reply.
2. You may have as many characters as you like, but if you already have deputy, you can't have a medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice, and vice versa.
3. Speaking of which, please only take as many characters you will be active with. I wanna see 'em around.
4. LGBT+ cats are welcome here, there will be no discrimination against them ICly or OOCly.
5. Keep things realistic to the books (or as much as you can with this plot), though.
6. Remember the golden rule here guys.
7. Drama is encouraged, as long as it's IC and not OOC! Acts of violence is also encouraged, and especially having your character bring in a kit or something. Wanna play that kit yourself? Or maybe somebody else will play it? Doesn't matter! Remember, this is not a good Clan by any means.
8. Put "Shortstar rules" in the other section of the form if you've read all these.
9. IMPORTANT FOR OLD MEMBERS: If you're here from the original thread, and want to keep your old characters, just state their names and I'll add them back!
