    Ok, here's the thread for discussions and questions relating to the thread. To begin the conversation, the basic overarching plot of the role play thread is that our characters will be traveling the kingdoms fighting Grimm and Salem's influence in a special agent James Bond esque way. Thoughts? Ideas?

    So this is after the fall of Beacon?

    Also, I'd like some of Salem's underlings be different (RIP Tyrian - sorree, not sorree) and able to be RP'd

    I have one that might be quite the challenge in the works already.

    Yes, this rp takes place immediately after the fall of Beacon. Of course, for most of what I have in mind currently we won't see the majority of Salem's cannon underlings for the bulk of the rp. The only two that I currently have anything in mind for in the near future are Neo and perhaps Cinder, though Cinder will have a very minute role and Neo will be more of a Grey area character rather than a villain.


    If you have villain ideas go ahead and shoot them our way.

    Two arrogant souls usually don't see eye to eye if their own pride is most important... which I assume it is.

    Even so, our characters could possibly have first interactions with Excalibur, though I feel like someone he'll most likely feel is worthy is someone that has the same exact views as it does, or someone who lets the sword do the talking. I'm sure he would still want someone as confident as he is, though its ego might benefit from someone who praises or compliments it.

    Excalibur works like Thor's hammer in terms of who can wield it in essentially every story it appears in. So...'pure of heart' and I'd guess they'd have to be strong enough to wield it properly since even without the weight of unworthiness making it essentially impossible to anyone unworthy to lift it, the actual sword is pretty heavy.

    I know this has nothing to do with the role play, but it has me extremely excited. The RWBY team just announced a Neo/Roman origin spin off series from the perspective of Neo!

    Maybe Fēng will give it a try. If it's pretty heavy though, he'll probably only be able to wield it for a set period of time. He's strong, but probably not strong enough to wield it at all times.
