ooc what's 230 EST? Sorry, clueless Brit over here XD
SnakeBelly
The Sunclan deputy twitched her whiskers in interest. "SpiritStar will be sad to hear of his passing." She mewed. "I know the two of them had liked each other a fair deal." She looked up as CloudWhisker approached. "I was hunting." She explained simply, "Then I saw a small feather, I reckoned it must have been from a baby bird, an easy meal. I went towards it to pick up and trail, I must have not realised how close I was to the edge as the lip of the cliff collapsed beneath my feet and, well, you know the rest." SnakeBelly looked at Blazetail in shock. "CloudFur? Why was his trail leading towards Sunclan?" She narrowed her eyes, "What's going on here?" She looked around, and then caught sight of SparrowStar's body. Her eyes widened, the whites at the edge showing. "I see..."
FeatherPool:
FeatherPool's eyes darted to GhostFeather. Usually he'd go to StoneTuft with this, but GhostFeather was there and FeatherPool couldn't see harm in confiding in him. "The gathering... yes..." He murmured. "Traditionally speaking I'll need to go up and announce who will be taking SparrowStar's place on the meadow rock. After that I'll leave it to you, if that's alright." He asked, grateful for GhostFeather's help. "As for... what's bothering me I." He shook his head. "The days feel longer and longer, and I worry I can't teach CrimsonPaw everything she needs to know, and I miss KinkedFur and Du-" He cut himself off, then continued, "and I can't remember this one darn herb. It's small pieces of wood from a bush but I can't remember what it's called or what it does, and something is telling me I really need to know it." He shook his head, turing his sharp blue eyes on Ghostfeather. "All this aside, I have something important to tell you." He mewed, "I spoke with SnakeBelly. She reported seeing a feather next to the edge of a cliff, and when she fell she reported seeing a cat watching her - a cat she described as ghost like." He dipped his head respectfully to GhostFeather, "Starclan, it seems, have spoken. It's a sign from them - you are to be our next leader." (I hope that's okay! I know you asked for deputy... feel free to turn it down! I intend to make CloudWhisker deputy, unless you two want to swap?)
DaisyStem:
DaisyStem seemed pleased as AcornLeap's loyalty. "Oh, I don't no brother. I'm not so sure. Truth is, I-" DaisyStem cut himself off, leaping into a bush abruptly. He reappeared with a dead stout. He twitched his whiskers in amusement, "Good catch, huh?" He mumbled around the prey.
StoneTuft:
StoneTuft glanced over at SnakeBelly, "She was trapped - we just pushed the rocks off of her. Her leg was oo injured to get back to Sunclan camp alone, and no self respecting Eclipseclanner would be able to climb their territory and help another cat along the way, too. So, we brought her back here." StoneTuft glanced at the nursery. "She makes one wrong move and I'll skin her myself." She told PetalStorm fiercely.
GingerPaw:
Gingerpaw accepted her punishment, she'd achieved her goal, MossFur had let SmokePaw off the hook. "My deepest and sincerest apologies." She mewed, bowing to MossFur, before trotting briskly after the other two apprentices. She poked her head between them, looking disgustedly at SparrowStar's body. "FeatherPool will have to chose a new leader and deputy." She explained, flicking one of her ears, "Obviously." She rubbed her cheek with her paw, "Man, your mentor hits hard." Gingerpaw had ignored Shrewpaw's words earlier. They may not understand her 'cunning' plan to free SmokePaw of being disciplined but she didn't care, they'd have to forcibly push her away from them if they wanted time alone.
SwirlPaw:
SwirlPaw blinked gratefully at him. She'd managed to sit herself up whilst he'd been hunting and now she tucking into the mouse hungrily. Once she'd done she chucked the bones to the edge of the training clearing and shakily got to her feet, moving to leave on unsteady legs. "Thank you so much." She mewed to him on the way back, "I feel so lucky to have been given you as a mentor and not, say, Emberpelt." She laughed.
