Bowser has finally begun his push to try and take over the Mushroom Kingdom, which has lead to an all or war between the Mushroom Kingdom and his Kingdom. Mario has been captured and taken prisoner, so the others are all doing their best against the enemy sides.
With the portal connecting the two worlds, Mobians find their way into the war-ridden Mushroom Kingdom. Will they fight alongside the Mushroomians to defend their home, or is this something too dangerous for even them?
*Sonic walked through the portal, looking around slowly
He and the others saw bullets flying in all directions, Koopa swarming everywhere, bob-ombs exploding...
"Oh, chaos..."
“Look out!” They heard someone cry as Luigi pushed them out of the way of an incoming bullet before shooting the Koopa that shot the bullet “Hey guys. What brings you here?”
"We had come to visit... now we might be getting involved"
“Well, honestly I’m kinda glad to see you guys.... we’ve been at this for a few weeks now, maybe even a month, and Mario being captured last week doesn’t help at all.”
"Right... what can we do to help?"
“Hmm... if you could maybe push some of the enemies back for us so we can get rid of them that’s be great”
*Sonic nods "Heh, no probs!" He turned to the flirtation spy that happened to tag along "Rouge? Think you can help keep them distracted?"
"Hehe, course I can big blue..."
“Thanks guys.”
"No problem" Sonic smirked gently
*a little later
“Ok... they’re off our backs... for now... it won’t be long before they come back again... but for now, we’re ok....”
"Got it..."
“Ever since Mario got captured, our forces have been getting weaker and weaker.... we lost the castle already... if they push us back anymore, we’re all doomed”
"I see..."
Luigi nodded
"So, what now?"
“Right now, we best get back to base and get in defensive positions. Come on, I’ll take you there.”
"Got it, let's go!"
