The plot I have in mind to start us all off is the coyote who took over the watering hole! I'm thinking about making a prophecy for the Tribe to kinda warn them? Or make it just misleading enough they get ready for the wrong thing.

Depending on whether the Oracle or the Cougar wants it, I have a sort of prophecy-ish ready for them to interpret as they please :^)

It goes something like this!

"When the sun is at its highest, teeth will meet an innocent hunter." S'a work in progress, but I plan on having Claypool die during the run to get water. I'm thinking we can twist it so they're expecting someone inside the clan to attack someone else?

That could work! They could attack Claypool and attract the coyotes toward group at the watering hole.
