❝ Normally, he would just let everyone learn how to hunt on their own. Here recently, there had been an uproar of newcomers and kits. He already knew that there were a few new members who did not know how to hunt, and out here hunting was a vital skill that everyone needed to know. Powers or not, hunting was essential in his opinion. He stood in Tempesta, waiting for quite a few NPCs to walk inside. "Anyone who does not know how to hunt, come here. I'm teaching everyone, even if you're a kit." he announced. Man, he wished he had his German shepherd body right now, but he supposed at least having four legs would make things easier. ❞

「 you’ll be a place of hope for hopeless — where faith is born and peace is sown 」 Hunting? If she remembered correctly, hunting included chasing a prey animal and killing it for sustenance. Neve didn't get the point of why needed to kill in order to eat. Couldn't they eat something else? Still, the kitten had nothing else to do. She hobbled over to Samuel, carefully making sure she didn't bump into anything. Then she sat down, looking at the black and white cat. "Great! So, how does hunting work?"

Haiiro technically knew how to hunt, but he figured that Sam wouldn't mind a few more paws helping out, especially paws that had a completely different perspective on hunting. Without his sight, Haiiro relied mainly on hearing and scent to locate and hunt down prey, and he would be happy to offer his own personal advice to anyone, should they also share his lack of sight. "Sam, I can help out if you want. Utilizing other senses and whatnot," the canine offered as he felt his way over, left leg only slightly stiff from the deep wound to his shoulder that had mostly healed, leaving behind small scabs and a lingering soreness.

unlike her younger sister, cecilia thought that hunting was rather essential to learn. when produce was scarce, prey was much easier to find. on top of that, in her opinion, freshkill tasted better than plants. besides herbs, she would often find herself turning away at the prospect of eating plants, favoring mice and other prey. so of course it would be essential for her to learn how to hunt her own food.
so when samuel offered to teach anyone how to hunt, cecilia was glad to accept the offer. the tiny kitten padded to where she heard the source of the offer, finding neve and someone she didn't know already present. "i'm interested as well!" the kit spoke excitedly.

Having been formerly a wanderer, Kismetpaw had often had to hunt for himself. So, he had plenty of experience when it came to hunting. Of course, he'd always prefer croissants to mice any day, but beggers couldn't be choosers. Still, despite now living in a clan in which he had all the croissants he wanted, the boy still trotted over when he heard Sam's call. Sitting down beside Cecilia, he'd give her a friednly smile before nodding to Sam, "I'm interested as well!" After all, who knew when he'd decide to persue wandering again? And when he'd eat another crossaint during those travels? So even if he already knew plenty, there could always be something more he could know.

Hunting lessons? Dreamseeker could remember the times they went hunting together, oh sweet memories. The black feline made her way over with her one eyes looking around. She would join in, since she was rusty. Being dead for a couple of years does that.

Even with all of his self training, Izuku wasn't ... great, at hunting. He'd chased a rabbit and got stuck in some tree roots, once, and that said enough all on its own. He'd done a lot of studying and practicing on his own, but it was still a lot easier when there was somebody there to fix anything wrong with his posture. Granted, this was the same for most of everyone, it was just the sheer disparity between them.
So when Izuku hears Samuel's announcement, it takes just a moment for Izuku to be on his paws, a little feeling of glee in his chest. One hunting lesson session would only get him so far, but if he at least knew all the bare necessities, then all he'd have to do is practice. He just wants to be -- useful. He's been trying to learn as fast as he can, but it's just so hard, especially because even after two months, he still doesn't know anything. It's just -- frustrating.
"I'll participate!" Comes Izuku's voice, maybe a little too loud and earnest, but at least he has determination. Hunting isn't hugely important, given that they can grow produce or just -- have human food for some reason, but it's still something, at least.

❝ He would give a nod to Haiiro in response to his offer. Having an extra four paws or so would be handy, especially with this many interested! He had to say, he was indeed excited. Perhaps this would spark some interest in the old practice. “Alright, before we begin, are there any volunteers to demonstrate their hunting crouch? Id like to see what stages of learning we are in before beginning.” he would say, twitching his tail. Why bother re-teaching if some already knew the basics? If there were some farther than others, he would give them to Haiiro and let the former medic take them to practice. ❞
