Yeah could you start? Flu season hit super late here, I wasn’t expecting it >~<

Apollo entered the school like any other day, heading to his locker to get a few books before class. A few students were gossiping about a new boy coming to their school, and how they hoped he was cute. Apollo rolled eyes, shutting his locked and heading into his first class. Even if the new boy was cute chances were he would be straight so he had no chance with him. He sat down in his seat and promptly starting doodling on a piece of paper, he was in the school’s GSA club and they tasked him with drawing a new poster. He saw someone sit down next to him burn paid no mind to him until suddenly the person was talking to him. He lookedup nervously,”H-hi..Teddy, i’m Apollo, just call me that I guess.”

Apollo saw the way he got slightly flustered and for a moment thought he might be interested in boys but quickly shoved that idea away. “Yeah..like Greek mythology, my sister’s name is Artemis. My parents like Greek mythology a lot, my dad is actually a professor for it..”Usually people laughed at their name so for how odd they are. Hearing him ask a question he realized it was about his drawing that he now tried to cover. “It’s for the GSA club, they said they need a better looking poster to attract more people..”

Apollo gave him a small awkward smile,”Ah...actually no...she’s older than me,”he admitted. When he asked what they did in the club he got a littleness nervous, he wasn’t used to trying to get people to join. “I guess we’re kind of a supportive group, we provide a space safe for LGBT people to come and talk or ask questions they have. We don’t have enough peopel do any big fundraisers or events yet...you interested in joining?”

Apollo was a little surprised his explanation of the club got the other interested to join. “We actually have a meeting after school today if you want to come, you don’t have to become a member just to go to the meeting. We let you test the waters before joining,”his smile grew a little, he hadn’t actually convinced anyone to join before or even be interested.

Apollo heard the bell ring and started packing up, the class went by really quickly, he assumed it was because he was talking to Theodore the whole time. “Ah it’s kinda hard to explain where the room is at, how about we meet up after school near the front office and I can show you where it is?”

Apollo made it through his day without much happening, it was normally like that. But at lunch he was pulled into the office, apparently the teacher noticed he became friends with the new kid, Theodore, and they wanted to try and shift his schedule so he could be with him more often. When after school came he was patiently waiting at the front. Hearing a voice he turned around,”Hello, Uh..yeah it’s not this way come on,”he started walking,”Also just thought this was important. The school has made me you ‘assigned buddy’, don’t know what that means. But I guess the teacher saw us talking absolutely thought it wouldn’t be a good idea to make me your buddy.”
