He rolled his eyes when he said that it wasn't his fortay to watch animals fight. "It's not like they're fighting fighting, like tearing each other apart or anything. They're hungry, and bickering like people do. Except they're better than people because they don't bicker with me." He told him, when Yam poked out of his neck hole in the blanket to smell the air.
He didnt much like it that he was questioned about his rats, but he would'nt object to it. He knew that the rats were typically a common shoot and kill to eat type thing out in the dunes, but for some reason he had taken a liking to them. "..I fed one. It liked me after. If they're willing to be fed they're willing to have a pack. They are pack animals.. they just are temprumental." He muttered, grabbing up Borris in his hands. He was a very plump rat. "This was my first buddy." He muttered.
"They would probably like our food as much as I would." He changed the topic quickly, the glare peircing through the hollow skull's eye sockets once again.
