Zavris felt himself freeze, actually stopping for a moment as he recomposed himself. He didn't even hear some of the next few conversations as he mentally cursed himself. Of course they thought he was flirting, dear gods he wasn't even sure what that was like! Humans and their strange ways, always confusing. He sighed and rubbed his eyes to shake his thoughts away, glancing at the group as he noticed the small argument. He decided to simply stay out of it for now, figuring they'd resolve it without his interruption. Besides, his mouth had already gotten him enough of a predicament once already.

"I won't bore you with my tale if you don't wish to hear it." Marques teased her with a smile, her mood had seemed to improve slightly which was what he was after. Marques lifted his arms to the back of his head as they walked. "Though if you do wish to hear it, I warn you it is not the happiest of tales." He continued, his smile fading slightly.
-
Nepheia looked over at Marques with interest and concern flashing in her orbs, she wished not to upset him if his tale was so horrible and unhappy. “I wish not to upset you...even though I am curious I can withhold such feelings so that you won’t be in pain.” She side stepped closer to the man to rest a hand upon his broad shoulders, looking innocently up at him while she offered a genuine smile. She did enjoy this mans company, he seemed so calm, always in control of his feelings though she noticed that his smile began to fade. She leaned closer to wrap a single arm around his abdomen, gently applying pressure in hopes of comforting him. She didn’t know much about human comforting but she was willing to learn and comfort the mercenary.
-
Marques raised an eyebrow in response to the physical contact but didn't complain. "I suppose it couldn't hurt." He said, his smile returning to his face. Marques glanced down at her, she was truly odd for her race. "Though I will say that you're quite odd, in a good way, compared to the rest of non humans I've come into contact with." Marques continued, appreciation evident in his voice. "So don't take it personally when I speak ill of magic."
-
She couldn’t help but laugh in response as she leaned away from the man, he seemed to be in a better mood now. “Well I’m not completely a demon, so of course I’m going to be different silly.” She looked away to gaze out at the sun that was beginning to make its trek down the sky so that I could rest before it rose once again to fill the world with its burning light. “I only use my magic to help others, not to destroy. Unless I’m corrupted that is...” She trailed off as a troubled glint entered her eyes, it would happen eventually when she would have to heal the others when in their time of need. She wasn’t looking forward to that time.
-
"Let's hope that it doesn't come to that, yea?" Marques smiled at her. Internally, the male decided that he'd tell his tale when they stopped for the night, there he'd be able to remain calm with the help of a warm campfire and his guitar. "Stay close to me and you might never have need of your magic again." The male continued with a confident smirk as he hesitantly wrapped his arm around her waist, hugging Neph briefly before continuing forwards. "So I suppose if your magic taints you it won't be a good idea to keep you around while I'm teaching the Queen." The male mused as they walked, he was used to such endless movement from his time in the army. "A shame, it seems her majesty may need to get used to bruises."
-
She couldn’t help but smile warmly at Marques, she enjoyed talking with him and opening up to another being, she couldn’t do such things around her demon counterparts. “I’ll have to use them eventually. As long as I use my powers carefully and not over exhaust myself I should be fine.” She looked shyly down at the ground as a soft blush decorated her cheeks with his comment and then gesture of wrapping his arm around her waist. “I’ll keep that in mind.” She smiled up at the man while her hand came up to gently squeeze his hand before releasing his digits when he began to move forward. “I can handle small wounds, it only takes a couple minutes to regain my power strength but large deep wounds that would surely kill the person taxes me. That’s when I take on demon attributes.” She looked forward to gaze upon the wilderness before her, sighing softly with bliss as her eyelids fluttered close for just a few moments before flicking back open.
-
Marques nodded, hopefully it never came to that. The male walked on in silence for several minutes, enjoying the smell of the open air. The merc seemed relaxed but every now and then his eyes would dart to the sides, probing for bandits or other possible attackers. Marques felt drowsy, but remained alert, he knew better than to doze off while on a road such as this and he did not know of the others would be capable of detecting threats to the group. Marques thanked the heavens that he had been smart enough to wear leather between his armor and weaponry, if he hadn't done so the noise would have been unbearably loud. The male glanced back towards the group to check on them before returning his attention to the front, by This point he was obviously on alert.
-
Zavris felt rather at ease, all things considered. He knew that there was no real threats in the forest, to him atleast. He spent over a year trying to pry open that tomb, and he'd spent plenty of time securing the area between his attempts. Mostly it was just the odd forest beast, though they were easy to put down. However there was another threat tugging at the back of his mind, he hadn't seen any signs of them but he didn't doubt that it would be long before they arrived here. Somehow they always followed a trail that he never left, and he intended to have this place far behind him before they reared their heads and became a nuisance. They weren't here yet, that he knew for sure, but he also knew that they would be heading this way.

//Sorry about that everyone, just pretend the last paragraph didn't exsist
Arya raised an eyebrow again as she glanced at her Aunt. Slowing her footsteps until she walked side by side with her, she smiled and nudged Neph with her hip.
"Something's happening to someone here." She teased, noticing the hand on the mercenary's abdomen. She then turned serious.
"Tell me what plans you have to lure my fatherin so I can kill him.
OC And forver just jump in :3

Nepheia flicked her gaze over to her niece, slightly raising a brow in question. “Oh you’re one to talk.” Her tone was playful as she glanced over at Zavris, a smirk flashing across her lips though her playfulness faded away with her next comment. She looked up to the sky in thought as she tried to think of a way to lure her brother to a destination so that Arya could take out her revenge. “At my fathers kingdom, if I tell him that our father is ill he’ll surely come and kill him to take over that region.” She hummed softly as she looked over at Arya. “He’s wanted our fathers region for centuries but he’s never been able to overpower our father.” Their father was a very powerful Incubus, he was centuries old and wasn’t showing any signs of weakness, it might lure her brother in, all she could do was hope.
