  • She was a witch and that much was clear by her pelt of shadows. The blue glowing in her fur as she moved along like a wisp. She was not alone for long though. Stopping, she would watch a wisp of light as it danced happily around her. Yes, this was a spirit that knew she was here to help. “Calm down little one. I will help you out. You must let me get everything I need though. Until then, just stay close.”

She offered the spirit and it seemed to bounce in response. She knew there would be more. She was a gateway to the afterlife for them. Then again, she wasn’t even a she ether. Her body can take whatever gender she pleased. After all, she needed to be able to adapt to her situation in all ways. In a male dominated land, she was female. Better chance at survival. In a female dominated land, she was male. She could be a wolf or a cat. She was whatever one wished her to be.

Yes. And now she was here on the boarder. Standing there and watching the sunset. She would be forced to wait it seemed. Just her and a spirit. That was fine though. It was always this way for her. It always would be that way. So, the beast let out a low howl. A sound that was chilling and yet oddly mesmerizing all at once.

  • Jesus- was someone getting murdered? The dragoness had been taking a flight around the territory when she heard what sounded like a shrill scream, and then turned in the direction of it.

Feverdreams was a gigantic, metallic, glitchy dragoness, quite the sight to see herself. Her glowing green eyes were trained on the creature as she landed, peering down at her. She had seen stranger things.

"Greetings. What is your business with the Blackheart Rogues?"

The Master of Healing got straight to the point, her very distorted, glitchy and metallic voice ringing out.

  • The sight of the female made her gender switch. Her mind accepting herself as male now. That was how her body worked. It always changed, never the same for long. The creature of shadow looked at the dragon calmly.

The female didn’t bother the shadow beast. And she silenced herself before looking past the wisp that danced before her in twirls. Eyes on the female and ears twitching. “Salutations. This place has a history, doesn’t it? Many a life lost, correct? My kind of place. I am a creature drawn to such things, you see. I came here to join you.”

The female answered with a calm tone of voice. She would not offer her name. No, she was fine being nameless.

THEY CALL KIDS LIKE US VICIOUS AND CARVED OUT OF STONE

My ears twitched as a low, somber howl cut through the silence, and my skull turned in it's direction to gaze off into the fog as if I would see whoever had made the sound. Perhaps if I'd sent out my super senses I would have been able to, but in the end I decided it would be far more interesting to be surprised.

So after winding through the foggy trails of the woodland the eerie howling and clinking of the bonechimes became audible and I knew I was near. Eventually I found them -Fever and the newcomer. It was a male wolf with black and blue whisps of shadow whirling around them, and I found myself reminded of Jetta even though she was more of a cloud. "Here to join, huh? Welcome to the clan then. I'm Fourthwall, and this here is Fever. You got a name, stranger?" I asked, assuming that she did. We had to call her something, didn't we?

BUT FOR WHAT WE'VE BECOME WE JUST FEEL MORE ALONE

    Basics

    Canine/Feline Hybrid - Hellhound - 6'9 - Homoromantic/Bisexual

    Interactions

    Aloof - Blunt - Sarcastic - Social

    Impulsive - Corrupt - Possessive - Unpredictable

Aggressive - Dominating - Highly Intelligent - Fast Thinker

Violent - Prone to Apathy - Capricious - Playful

PLEASE NOTE;; Fourthwall is known to break the 4th wall, as his name suggests. He is a person who -instead of gods or reincarnation- thinks that he is just a character made up in a story, and so nothing he says or does has any real consequence. This allows him to suppress emotions like guilt or hesitation in order to enrich his life, as he believes that nobody is actually real, and so none of the bad things he does to others in order to enjoy himself are real either. He will often refer to his 'Writer' during 1st person posts and complain about the way they write him or his story, and is convinced that the entire world and FF's reality is just some big story.

  • FUELLING THE FLAMES

Roman Sanders / BHR master of weaponry / Male / click for bio & storage

*:・゚✦ Roman approached at the sound of a howl, it didn't seem particularly urgent but it was sorrowful. The strange, enchanting nature of it urged the hellhound to find the source.

It didn't take Roman long to find the three of them, he had been rather close. While the canine easily recognized his fellow Master and Fourthwall, the other was definitely a newcomer. A mystical, wise looking wolf. The swirls surrounding them were vaguely reminiscent of Will-o-Wisps. Like Robin did initially, the newcomer unnerved Roman a bit... but in a different way. There was eternity in their gaze, eyes that had seen all too much and yet they exhibited it nowhere else, unnaturally nonchalant. It almost made him feel weirdly vulnerable. However, that didn't deter Roman from greeting them, "Hello there, I'm Roman! It's nice to meet you." His grin wasn't as confident as it usually was, unsure of what the stranger's reaction would be.

    "Speech."

  • Soon another joined them and the beast would turn her head. Her sorrowful cry had summoned another it would seem. The beast of shadow would blink it’s glowing blue optics before thinking over the question. This male wished to know her name. A good question, she supposed as her body shifted a bit to remain suddenly genderless. She needed balance and her body always found it. Closing her eyes, she would offer a slow hum. “Indeed. Thank you Fourthwall. I am sorry to disappoint you, but I have no true name. Though, if one must know, I suppose it would be Chaosripples. Or, at least it makes sense. You can call me what you wish though.” She offered in response to his question.

Names were new to her as she spent her time alone. The name was given to her when she came to this realm a long time ago. After all, she had caused a slow ripple of chaos within that clan. Not that she meant to. She never meant to. Her gaze shifted to the dancing wisp that was now above her head. It was, interesting. Then, another voice pulled her mind back to the planet she wandered. Head turning to the male that had spoke. Eyes blinking calmly as she took the other in for a moment. His name brought back flashes.

Roman. That name holds such meaning and power. Such history and mystery. Then again, all names do, don’t they? Do you know about the empire your name is derived from? I do hope so. An amazing and rich history.” Was it weird the way she thought sometimes? Perhaps. Her voice, or rather it’s voice, was soft. Sorrowful and wise in its tone. Did she know that he knew the wisdom her eyes held? “Excuse me. My mind loves to wander. It is a pleasure to meet you.

  • "It's very nice to meet you as well. Would you like a tour? I have some time to show you around."

The dragon said, watching the other creature curiously. She would have to talk to them sometime.

"My full name is Feverdreams, but Fever works." She chuckled, winking.

  • Dr Schneeplestein/BlackHeart Rouges/[♂]

*:・゚✦ Such an odd phenomenon yes? So many creatures for joining the rouges only meaning Schneeps had to spend more time taking care of people he might not care much for. He never was one for a greeting party honestly to god, unless they had sweets or alcohol involved which neither did. A dip from the doctor's head was the only greeting ChaosRipples would get from the drunken male. As they provided hardly any interest to him other then being another pest rouge to care for, blinking slowly as he stuck closer to the familiarity of his older clanmates.

  • 「 i am a question to the world

not an answer to be heard 」

What was that? A haunted howl wasn’t exactly uncommon on their territory of bone chimes and other oddities, but this sounded real. Maybe it wasn’t a ghost this time.

Crownpaw got to his paws and made his way towards the origin. There stood an unfamiliar shape, with Fourth, Roman, and a few others surrounding them. The Helljaguar took a long moment to simply observe, then stepped up beside Schneeps. The other guy was being weirdly quiet, but Crown didn’t think much on it. He didn’t care.

“I’m Crownpaw, welcome to the Rogues,” He murmured. Hopefully this Chaosripples could find a home here. Some did, some didn’t.

  • Her gaze shifted back to Feverdreams as she spoke. As a matter of fact, a tour sounded wonderful. “That sounds wonderful, actually.” She replied with a soft smile on her maw. Why not get to know the lands around her. The wisp danced past her face and then rested on her head. Well, it appeared that way, but for the moment she was not of solid form. ”Feverdreams. A beautiful name with such a dangerous background.” She mused rather softly.

Then another would come into view and she let her gaze shift to him. He was off and the beast new it. Lucky for him, her body mended itself. When she was in solid form, she could be harmed like anyone else. But she could shift into her shadow form and her body healed itself. So, he would be surprised to find out that she would never be seeking him for help. She simply nodded at him and let her gaze shift to the last to arrive.

If she had known his thoughts, she would have been saddened. Very saddened. She would have told him that ghosts could be saved. She could never be saved. But, he didn’t say that and she remained silent. Her eyes fell on Crown and she blinked. It seemed he was an apprentice. A large one. The male was a hell beast like a few others. It was interesting, really. Yes, interesting indeed. “Thank you. It is a pleasure to meet you, Crownedpaw.” She responded calmly.

  • Life. Death. What did it all mean? Life, finite, or was it? Death, infinite, could that be true? Beginnings, ends, lefts, rights, ups, downs, pupils flickering every which direction, trying, desperately trying to focus on one thing, just one thing, anything, always and forever. Light. Darkness. What was the connection? The correlation of every facet through which the universe expressed? Everything was doomed to die, but not all was confined to life. Or was it the other way around? Was there a middle ground? Was life subjective? Death?

Robin didn't believe there was a meaning. Regardless, it was fun to think about, wasn't it? Questions without answers, answers without explanation - there was still so much he would never understand.

Not that any of that was really important right now. His fleeting focus remained on the beast before them for the time, concealed eyes focused on the canid's whimsical form, gaze caged within porcelain bearing into their inky pelt and wispy eyes.

    "Welcome," he spoke.

    "I'm Robin."
