    Sorry it's short

Prince Alabaster had lived the same story almost everyday of his life. It was the one written for him since the day he was. It was a simple story. He was born a prince to King Faustus and his misstress Rosalind, but the queen was not pleased that her husband was planning on making this mistake his heir over her own daughters and so cursed Alabaster to become a dragon. He was banished to the mountains where he found a castle falling apart. He chose to make this his home assuming he would be a dragon the rest of his life. That is until he saw a young princess being offered to him as a sacrifice by the local people. Rather than eat her, he befriended her and slowly fell for her. It was through this love that he turned back into a human or close enough (he still had dragon like wings on his back) and soon went back to reclaim his kingdom proving he wasn't a mistake. That's the story he had lived for years. He wanted something different. That something different had come from a young woman that had begun reading his story over and over. He couldn't help, but stare up from the pictures to look at her beauty wishing he could get to know her better.

  • Victora huffs as she sat in the bed guest bedroom her aunt so kindly gave her but it was so dirty and she had to clean it all up before even thinking of unpacking. That was only the beginning of a long summer to come. While cleaning she found quite the book seeming to spark interest. Later that day at supper she asked about it and her curiosity brought her to reading it the first time that very night. The pages turned and she most count how many times she had read it. It was not almost a month into summer, the air conditions barely blew, the windows were open letting the hot sun beat into the room. Vic sat on the bed wearing a white tank top and light blue shorts, fanning herself with a piece of paper as she the part of the prince whom did nothing wrong being banished "Man, horrid woman" she mutters, glancing at the picture of the young prince.

  • As she read the part of the story, it played out the same away. Alabaster was about seventeen and was about to be declared heir. It should've been the best day of his life. That's when the queen cast her spell and made him transform. It was painful changing from young man into dragon. Once it was complete, he was forced out with death threats. It was the hardest thing he ever felt. He had flown up to the mountains arriving far away. It was a moment that would tug at anyone's heart strings

  • Vic sniffles though reading the pages so many times she still cried, a few tears making it onto the page. She could not imagine the pain of transform from man to beast "Wish I was a knight or something though I'd be a girl in a pretty dress instead back then but wish I could save him form this story" she pouts turning the page. She read on to how he found an old castle to live within and wait out his days..she desired to be that princess to change him back with love. Though corny it was still beautiful.

  • The story continued as she kept reading until the sun went down. Vic's aunt called for her to come down for dinner. Once she was there, she noticed the book in her hand. "Have you been reading that all afternoon?" she asked looking at her curiously

  • Vic walks down to the dining room still holding the book and tkaing a seat as her aunt points it out. She looks over "Uh..ya I really like it" nodding as she prepares to eat "it's a sad and interesting read"

  • At her wish, the book began to glow and suddenly a man appeared from the book. That man being Prince Alabaster during the aftermath of when he was returned to his human form. He looked around confused. "Where am I?"

  • Vic looks over to the book on the table and walks back staring at a man emerging from it. She just stood there in awe for a moment before shaking ehr head a few moments after his question "My house..well mu aunts house" she answers
