There had been no note. Beneath the cover of the October mist he had packed his books and left without a single goodbye to his family-- Stormclan then, but likely not anymore. That had been in the old country, where he had grown up a prodigy. And left a dropout and a failure. The thoughts stung like wasps in his brain. Even now, almost an adult and perhaps too long erased from clan memory for even Blazestar to recognize him-- if she was still around, that is-- he didn't know what possessed him to do it. Just up and left to come crawling back months later, disheveled and forgotten; hauling himself over mountains and for what? For a family that probably didn't exist anymore, that's what. But he had heard about this place and it had sounded too similar to be coincidental. Stormclan or not, it would be enough. Spellpaw (would he have to finish up his apprenticeship or would he parting with that name soon?) padded across the dense, packed layers of snow and allowed the blue sky and patches of bare, mud-sodden ground to carry his mind toward spring and the summer that would eventually follow. He imagined this place must be one of those lush, unforgettable open greens when the weather's hot. One of those the monarchs flock to. . . Did monarchs ever stray this far up the mountain? Perhaps he would stay and find out. Spellpaw stopped at what he guessed was the border by scent and imagined the look of pained resignation that must be on his face at the moment. Immediately he changed it. A pleasurable, friendly expression in his mind, more like a small, constipated dog in reality. He was ready to make some friends.

No good deed goes unpunished ! —
Azaseil certainly was new; one of the newer members at that. However, he already felt like he'd been there a while, what with all the shenanigans that had ensued after his joining. All well. The two tailed ocelot had been wandering aimlessly through the territory, as he so often did, when the sight of another feline caught his eye. Turning and bundling further into his green-and-yellow scarf, he trotted over with a smile. "Oh, hello there! How can I help you?"

Sweet was also a relatively new joiner, having only joined maybe a week or so before. Humming along to the tune that played on her ipod, the small wildcat made her way over to the pair, having spotted Azaseil as he went over. Giving the feline a sweet (hah) smile as she padded over, she waited for his response, having nothing much else to add.

As it stood, Elijah was one of the longest-standing members of the group, despite the fact he would still consider himself a newcomer. Most everyone who had been here upon his joining had vanished. Blazestar remained. Kate remained, though she had vanished for a while. Astralpaw remained. Were there any others? He didn't believe so. A few other names tickled at his memory, but their owners had all vanished from his life. He wondered where they were now. What they were doing. If they were okay. He hoped so.
He wandered over shortly after Sweet, coming to stand at Azaseil's other side. "Welcome to the Frontier. I'm Elijah," he offered, though Az had already spoken the usual greeting. He still liked to say his piece.

The white feline made her way over, looking over the stranger. She stood near Elijah as she waited for the new one to start talking. Were they joining or did they come to bring news? Kate didn't say anything, as she wanted to give them a chance to talk. ""TAGS -
// Thanks! Good to be back.
A two-tailed ocelot. Spellpaw regarded the feline with fascination. "Er, hi." He began weakly. Is Blazestar here? he wanted to ask, but thought better of it and instead said "So this is the Frontier? This might be a funny question but has this place ever been called Stormclan?"

「 and i just want you to feel love — before it disappears 」
"If I remember correctly, this place was Skyclan and then merged with Stormclan to form The Frontier. So in a way, yes, this place was once Stormclan." the eight eyed cat spoke up. Looking around at her clan mates to comfrim if she was right or not. Kate wasn't so sure since she hadn't been around here during the merge.TAGS -

Wait a minute. Was that? She didn't ever expect to hear that voice again! Spellpaw? It had been so long! As soon as she heard the voice a huge smile spread across her face and she sprinted over, aiming to give male a hug. "Spellpaw!" the female exclaimed, overjoyed to see him again. She recalled when Spell ended up showing up less and less, then not at all. She was really glad to see him again, to know that he was ok. "Its been a while, how are you?" she would add, and if the hug was successful, she would let go.

Darkskies would cast a set of curious narrowed eyes upon this joiner, sensing a slight familiarity with his appearance and voice, but not immediately putting the pieces together. Then, almost as if her mother could read her uncertainty, the name was spoken. Spellpaw! Holy shit. She did recognize this guy! But Starclan, she hadn't seen him since Stormclan was still it's own clan! "Hey! Welcome back!" The warrior purred in greeting as she settled down next to her mother. Even though the two were never particularly close, Dark still felt the desire to scoop him up in to a big ol' hug. (Although she would resist for his sake.) She was relieved that other Stormclanners were still out there somewhere. Perhaps, this meant that more might return as well? One could hope, at least.
