Zenith wanted to believe that her younger sister could succeed as Colour Command's leader, but the more she thought about it, the more obvious it became that such a belief was unfounded in reality. After discussing matters with Clover, it became apparent what they needed to do. All the kitten did was proclaim herself the leader. What adults and high positions of a group rolled over at such a silly grab for power? With her mind set, she knew what her next action had to be. Leaping onto the same rostrum her father before her, Yuri, used to address the crowd, she let out a loud yell to gather the attention of the Commandites. "Attention to all! Clover and I, as the most senior of the high positions, have decided to rise up to leadership after Yuri's disappearance. While it is tragic that both Yuri and Frightfur have vanished after a long history of contributing to the group... it is no surprise, all the same. They have abandoned our Clan before, and we cannot sit on our butts and wait for them to save us."
A fluttering of an amused expression came over her face for a moment. However, she quickly grew serious as she spoke, "Likewise, we cannot entertain the idea that a child with no experience in battle, warfare, diplomacy... or anything at all can lead us. Hushedstar showed how little she knows and honours Colour Command's customs by taking a pro-clan leader name and berating us for not being welcoming enough. As if we have any actual, recent examples of a Commandite bitching out someone at the border to draw on." Zenith didn't seriously entertain the idea of following Hushedstar, and she hoped the rest of the Clan would dismiss the idea for how idiotic it was, now that she and Clover presented a united front. With a side-glance to Clover, she then added, "Therefore, we will lead Colour Command and all of you, if there are no objections."
