  • Zenith wanted to believe that her younger sister could succeed as Colour Command's leader, but the more she thought about it, the more obvious it became that such a belief was unfounded in reality. After discussing matters with Clover, it became apparent what they needed to do. All the kitten did was proclaim herself the leader. What adults and high positions of a group rolled over at such a silly grab for power? With her mind set, she knew what her next action had to be. Leaping onto the same rostrum her father before her, Yuri, used to address the crowd, she let out a loud yell to gather the attention of the Commandites. "Attention to all! Clover and I, as the most senior of the high positions, have decided to rise up to leadership after Yuri's disappearance. While it is tragic that both Yuri and Frightfur have vanished after a long history of contributing to the group... it is no surprise, all the same. They have abandoned our Clan before, and we cannot sit on our butts and wait for them to save us."

A fluttering of an amused expression came over her face for a moment. However, she quickly grew serious as she spoke, "Likewise, we cannot entertain the idea that a child with no experience in battle, warfare, diplomacy... or anything at all can lead us. Hushedstar showed how little she knows and honours Colour Command's customs by taking a pro-clan leader name and berating us for not being welcoming enough. As if we have any actual, recent examples of a Commandite bitching out someone at the border to draw on." Zenith didn't seriously entertain the idea of following Hushedstar, and she hoped the rest of the Clan would dismiss the idea for how idiotic it was, now that she and Clover presented a united front. With a side-glance to Clover, she then added, "Therefore, we will lead Colour Command and all of you, if there are no objections."

*✧:。.。 Clover honestly just couldn't sit and watch a kit attempt to take on such an important role with no training, she could make a bad decision, or hurt herself, or both! So when Zenith came to her, she agreed something must be done. Zenith wanted to take over the position, but not by herself, and while Clover's thoughts were screaming treason laws, she shoved them back and agreed to help Zenith.

The savannah cat jumped onto the platform, and Clover followed, jumping to Zenith's right side, because she was doing most of the talking. Clover nodded along to her words, in a show of united power, before adding her own part. "If there are no objections we are going to try a dual leadership, I shall be the military general, and Zenith is head of state."

  • NO ONE'S PERFECT —

A rebellion so soon? He couldn't help being amused by the situation, this certainly brightened up the day. The two claiming power were the same girls that met him at the border and from the one sided story that he's heard, Zenith made a pretty good point. An anticlan leader taking up a proclan tradition? That was pretty disgusting, what the fuck was that kid even thinking? It was obvious to the cougar that this Hushedstar was pretty idiotic, hell it seemed like they didn't even know shit about their own history. But enough of that, Mickael was content with not objecting, preferring to sit on the sidelines and see if anyone else wanted to put a word in.

    — BUT NO ONE'S WORTH THIS

  • PRAY FOR SALVATION —

The canid was not new to overthrows- while this was his first clan the idea had been tossed once or twice in passing with his caregiver. Now He watched one with dull gold eyes. The wolf dog keeping his cool as the pervious leader was dethroned quite publicly. "Are we all just making grabs at the crown now?" His words were meant to sting. A slight downward turn of his maw as he kept the rest of his body lax. It was just an observation- but it was troubling non the less.

"What does that say about our stability- our unity?" The dog's words rang out, finding himself more and more agitated with the second passing "This clan is volatile- and it's a wonder we can even keep what little standing we have with the other clans! What are you two going to do to change that?"

He didn't make it an open challenge- but it should be clear all the same. He wasn't fond of this switch in leadership so quickly.

*✧:。.。 Clover grimaced. The dog brought up a point, maybe not a necessary one, but she had to answer. "No, not just anyone, I was a Purpleheart, I was next in line, and I couldn't let that Tiro make mistakes." It was too late for that now, though she didn't know it at this point.

  • 「 grew up in the loneliness — a broken reality 」

They couldn't even keep the same leader going for more than a week apparently. She had tolerated Yuri for the sake of his guts, and although she had been displeased with Hushedstar's rise to leadership she had remained silent and allowed herself time to judge the female. If she had witnessed extreme incompetence, she would have dealt with it herself. Not in the half-assed manner that this pair had either. She would have completely disposed of the youth if she'd received zero support from those around her, and she wouldn't have outed herself. While their takeover was logical enough, she was fed up with the leaders of this idiotic clan vanishing one after the other. The overthrown youth hadn't even shown her face apparently, although perhaps she was listening from a hiding place. It mattered not.

When she'd been a member of the Exiles, the best member had been the first and the worst had been the third. It wasn't necessarily true for every clan, but the more frequently the chain of command shifted the more aggravated Aile became. Her points on the child being inexperienced and unable to deal with politics were fine, but she didn't trust Zenith and Clover either. Besides, taking a random jab at her name was a stupid idea. They meant absolutely nothing. Most leaders who were named traditionally took on the suffix of star. She less than discreetly rolled her eyes. She hadn't named herself, for if she had she wouldn't have given herself a name that was so commonly mispronounced for some reason. If she remembered correctly, Yuri had probably been given a say in naming the now former leader. Conclusion? She was trapped with a load of idiots again. Anti-clans truly didn't live up to their name. They were all talk, but they rarely possessed the conviction necessary to satisfy the white feline.

  • Feeling resolute with Clover by her side, the red savannah was pretty glad that nobody outright hated their decision. Recognizing Mickael from greeting him at the border, she gave the black cougar a slight nod of her head in greeting -- but that was before Amen spoke. She found herself amused at his jabs, especially since they felt empty. Like he was punching the wrong target.

Glancing at Clover, she nodded in agreement, before turning back to Amen. "Exactly. That wasn't even a bid for the crown really -- just a toddler trying to grab something shiny, only to throw a temper tantrum when it doesn't belong to them. Clover is next in line for leadership, and I'm honestly disappointed that our more experienced members didn't challenge her like I did." If that last bit sounded like a jab at Aile and Clover, that's because it was. Zenith thought it was damn stupid that nobody else challenged a child when she started screaming about being the next leader. "As for the Clan being volatile... this wouldn't be the first time someone tried to take over a group and failed, and nobody bats an eye over it. Hell, Fragilepast took over the Thunderlands and is now the leader of an ally, but the Thunderlands is still a big group and their failings have little to do with Fragilepast," she added with an amused twitch of her ears. Takeovers happened all the time in the course of Clans' histories, and the unsuccessful ones were usually forgotten quickly enough. Amen had valid points, but this would all be old news after two weeks.

  • LEMONWATER MUZIKANT S. P. F. N. !! COLOUR COMMAND !! 10 MONTHS

Lemonwater had been somewhat devastated at the loss of her newfound father- she was almost determined to go and find him, if not for the duties that he had given her here before he'd left. The blue tortoiseshell padded forward to the announcement, as it seemed nobody really was going to forcefully object with anything other than words, she nodded. "If I get to do my job, and you do your job, I don't see the issue. My little sister is at least ambitious." Lemon replied up to Zenith with something of a grin. Her younger sister's claim at the crown was no more valid than if she had made one herself- and she hadn't even been born here.

She tightened the green scarf around her leg, almost as a point. Yuri was her father, no matter what, and he would come back to find her, and correct all of this. Lemon was sure of it. Until then, she would go with the flow and stay in the good graces of those in charge.

  • Leaders. Ugh. It seemed that back where it came from people had the right idea to not have any. People just couldn't figure out who to listen too! It was purely insane, it made It's head spin as it fluttered over from where it had been listening. This seemed like madness, it just wanted things to be calm, unlike how it's original home had been. It's ears slowly dropped, tail flicking.

  • PRAY FOR SALVATION —

Amen felt his fur only bristle further at the comment. Dull eyes brightening lightly as power curled around his pelt in the represtantion of a spark arching along his pelt. Rolling down his back like thunder along the ground but- quiet. Tch, this clan and it's confusing names. Purpleheart was somewhere high- he was sure, but he didn't bother question them, didn't have the chance to speak because the other half of the duo choose then to speak. "It speaks how little you care for the discord within your own walls."

The wolf felt their own power drain from them as they themselves pulled out of the argument. There was no point- if they thought they could lead better than a kit- well that was very true either way. Hushedkit was simply under pressure- she saw what she thought was the best to do in a bad situation. She was still a kid and the same can not be said for these two. However, it would mean that to dethrone them they would have to be more than killed.

"Let it be known that I will see to your demise if you are unfit to rule as well. Maybe something more drastic? Send a clear message at the least." He was tired of listening to unstable leaders and their demands- It was the reason why he fled his caretaker. He would not be under someone's thumb for the pleasure of watching it's subject squirm. This was an anticlan- and he would kill his way to power if he had to.

Maa, this clan was getting quite troublesome.

  • Con growled, first his parents disappeared and now his sister was being replaced just because she changed her name. The kitten hissed at Zenith, showing his disapproval on the matter. He sat at the front on the Zenith and snarled but did not say anything. The 5 moon old kitten was lost. He didn't know what to do.
