  • James' face reddened slightly at the remark. He grinned and grabbed their hand, holding it while they walked back to the station. He looked over his shoulder and noticed the Grizzly's leader glaring at them and mumbling something under his breath. James smiled and leaned his head onto Riley's shoulder. "I'm glad we didn't break up. I'll make sure to show you how much I love you when we get back." He said and teasingly winked at him.

Once they got to the station and walked to their room, James wrapped an arm around Riley's neck and pulled him into a passionate kiss.

  • Riley flustered a little at his comment. They couldn't wait to make it back to the station. They did notice the Grizzly leader behind them, but chose to ignore it. They didn't want to deal with it for now. Now it was just them and James and that's all Riley wanted.

They kissed James back once they got inside wrapping their arms around him. They held it for quite some time before having to pull away for air. They had a smile on their face and moved them and James to the bedroom. "I love you so much Jay. You know that, right?"

  • James caught his breath and chuckled at their remark. "Yeah, I know, and I love you too Ry. I've said it a lot, but I've meant it every time." He said with a bright grin on his face as if all the troubles they just had are gone with the wind.

He pulled them onto the bed with him in one swift move, his arms still wrapped around them. "You don't know how glad I am that I met you." He said and planted a soft kiss onto his neck.

    (Fade?)

  • Yup

Riley cuddled up to James as they finished. The two of them were a mess of limbs tangled together amount the sheets, but Riley didn't care. They felt like this was the most perfect thing they could do. They looked over at James playing with his hair. "Oh what did I do to deserve you as my lover?" they asked

They pulled him in another kiss, gentler this time. "You think things'll finally be going smoothly?" they asked pulling away and continuing to run their fingers through James's hair liking the way the hair felt

  • James was smiling brightly as he cuddled up to Ry, enjoying the warmth with both of them close together. He didn't mind the mess all around them because it seemed like the perfect moment as he peacefully laid in their arms. He chuckled softly as they played with his hair. His face reddened slightly and he nuzzled Riley's neck as he didn't know how to reply without sounding like an idiot.

He kissed them back happily. A grin tugging at the corners of his cheek after they separated. "Yeah, I bet it will." He replied optimistically and held their other hand, squeezing it gently as if reassuring them that it's all going to be fine from now.

  • Riley smiled hearing that. They pressed their forehead against their lover's gazing into his eyes. "I hope you're right Jay. I don't want us to fight again" they admitted. They glanced over at a clock seeing the late hour. They pulled a little away. "Considering it's almost midnight, we should get to sleep soon" they suggested

While they were sleeping, Mikey came running into the room. He shook Riley and James awake. Riley looked a bit annoyed about being awake by their brother. "What do you want Mike?" they groaned groggy from sleep

"You and Jay are in trouble. The police are coming right now for you, said you stole government documents" he explained

  • James held Riley's hand and gave it a loving squeeze. "I certainly hope I am because I don't want us to fight either" He agreed. James adjusted his position so that his arms were wrapped around them and he was sleeping in their arm. "Goodnight, Ry." He said softly, planting a quick kiss onto their lips before drifting off to sleep.

James sat up, muttering annoyed gibberish under his breath for being waked up. He was yawning and almost choked in his breath when he heard the news, resulting in a few coughs. "What? How'd we do-" He was about to continue the question before the answer hit him and he frowned - Grizzlies. "Why get the police involved though?" He asked, looking at Riley and Mike and hoping either of them has the answer.

  • Riley was freaking out internally about the information. They knew the Grizzly leader would be mad at them, but the police? It just seemed too extreme to do, but yet here they were. They could hear the sirens and froze. "We need to run. They're not going to believe anyone from the Grease Monkeys" they explained. It was true to an extent. While the police were called to take down either gang, they did favor the word of the Grizzlies more than the Grease Monkeys.

"I'm sorry for bringing you into this life Jay...come on, we'd get going before the police raid our house"

  • James was panicking when he heard the sirens, looking around him as if the police will somehow burst through the wall of the abandoned train station. He managed to control his panicked feelings a bit and calmed down enough for him to think straight and pay attention again to Riley. He nodded sullenly at his suggestion. "That seems to be the only way out.." He grumbled and quickly got up.

He shook his head as Riley continued talking. "It's not your-" He was about to continue before hearing the sirens get dangerously closer. "We'll talk later. Let's just run now!" He said and headed for the door, making sure Riley's behind him. "Are we going on foot or car?" He asked hurriedly, speed-walking out of the room with Riley beside him.

  • Riley speed walked with James until they were both outside and quite a bit of a distance from the train station. "Car would be the best bet. Travel would be easier on a set of wheels than on our feet" they explained. They grabbed his hand and ran with him trying not get spotted by any of the policemen.

They spotted a car close to them recognizing it as their own car. They ran towards it and turning to James. "Get in now if you still want to be a free man" they said panicked. They got to the driver's side and started the car as James got in. Then they tried to get as far as they could for the night

  • James followed Riley and ran to the car, panicked thoughts running through his head. He was glad to be away when they did get into the car, looking outside the window and around. The sirens of the police got exceptionally louder as they started pulling away from the abandoned train station they called home and police cars started showing up in front of them. James sighed in relief as they put more distance between them, the police not realizing yet that they're not in the building.

He sat silently in the car beside his lover. The panic slowly going away, but still there as the tension in air grew. James leaned forward in his seat and put his face in his hands. "Why us out of all the people? Why take it this far and include the police?" He asked and grunted frustratingly afterwards. "All we asked for was a peaceful life, what's wrong with asking for that?" He still had his face in his hands, but it was dry and it was more as a way to calm his nerves.

  • Riley kept their focus on the road trying to get as far as they could get. They got themselves and James to another state and pulled into the parking lot of some off highway motel. It looked like it was it desperate need of care if their sign was any indication.

They huffed staring out into nothing. "It's my fault we're ever in this mess. The Grizzly leader was jealous of our relationship and went to the extreme. If you never met me...you would be having that peace you want" they muttered.

  • James raised his head from between his hands to look at the motel that could've been mistaken for a newly abandoned one if not for the lights. He sighed silently as he looked around, realizing that this area doesn't look the least bit familiar and noticing the sign that says another state's name. Well, now they're far away and the police would take a good few hours to track them down.

He drifted his gaze to Riley as they spoke and he shook his head at their remark. "No, we're in this together. I don't know what would've happened if I hadn't met you, but I'm just glad I did." He said in a tone between soft and firm and wrapped his arms around them, pulling them into a tight embrace for mere moments before pulling back. "Come on. We have to get inside soon, it looks like it's going to start raining." He said, opening the car door to have strong cold winds immediately blow into the car.

  • Riley got out of the car and to the main office. It was in clear disrepair and desperately needed some tender lover and care. They were a bit reminded of the train station when they first found it. "We'll stay for the night, but that's it, okay?" they whispered to James.

They walked up to the person in front of the desk, an older woman old enough to be Riley's own grandmother. They asked for a room for them and James and was given a key. They turned back to James jingling the keys a little. "Said it was right outside the office two doors to the right" they explained. They walked out with James going to the room and opening up the door. Inside, the room looked in worse shape than the office. "We'll need to make a plan"

  • James nodded at their remark. He stood back a few feet from the table, looking around the motel that seemed like it's on the verge of collapsing. He frowned at the surroundings before looking back at Riley as they approached him while jingling the keys. He nodded again and went out, heading towards their room silently.

James sat down on the bed and it gave a creak that made it obvious that it might collapse too, but it held itself under James' weight. "What plan? Isn't it just running away from the police? We've been accused of stealing government documents, they're going to be tracking us all over the states." He said, looking around him before looking at them again.

  • Riley heard the squeek and decided to go to the chair in the room. Strangely enough, it was the only stable thing in the room. "Well there's a few ideas we could try" they admitted. They looked over at James for a moment. "We could either keep running till they catch us, get out of the country or...we could fake our deaths and start over" they explained. The last one was a little crazy, but it could happen

  • James listened silently, but he perked up slightly at the last idea. It wasn't so bad, and it seems to be the easiest one to do to get out of this. "The last idea seems to good..How do we do it though? Fake a car crash?" He asked, sitting upright now and looking at them. The bed creaked at his every movement so he got up and sat on the ground instead.

  • "Yeah, fake a car crash...if we do that do we'll need to get a new car after this. We'll really start over. New life and maybe this time we'll get the peace you want" Riley said. They got up from the chair and sat down next to James. "We'll need to figure out where our new lives will be"

  • James thought for a few moments, looking at the Riley blankly. He looked quite odd whenever he zoned out to think to himself for a few moments. "We'll need to start on that idea fairly soon though; the police won't take more than a day or two to find us.." He said pessimistically. "Maybe California or Chicago? Or the nearest state in general. We'll have to start all over again.." He replied. The last part was more to himself as his voice trailed off in the end.
