Dallas was drowsy as he was woken up, but then really woke up because of the kiss. "I'm officially 22"

Jake smiled. "Alright, now come on!" Jake said, and tugged on his arm to get up.

"Alright, alright I'm coming. Let's see what you've got planned Jakey"

Jake looked worried. "Planned? I didn't forget something, did I?" Jake did his best to pretend he forgot to get him something. His surprise was at dinner and Jake was doing something special for him.

"It's my birthday Jakey. You said you wanted to do something today" Dallas reminded unaware that he was pretending

Jake sighed. "I'm sorry Dally. I must have forgotten." He looked up at him sadly. "You still love me, right?"

"Of course I still love you Jakey. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time someone forgot my birthday"

Jake felt horrible. He wanted to tell Dallas what his plan was, but he couldn't. "Dallas, what if you spent the whole day at the spa and I'll have dinner ready for you by the time you get back. How about that?" Jake thought that it could keep Dallas ocupied for the day and give Jake some time to prepare.

Dallas thought about it for a moment. "Not much of a spa guy, but it wouldn't be that bad. I'll get going. Maybe I can get my nails painted" he joked

Jake smiled. "Have fun babe." He said and kissed him goodbye. As soon as Dallas left, he started getting ready for Dallas's surprise.

Dallas was gone for the entire day and he had to admit that it was a nice time. He came back home late looking like a new man. He even did get his nails painted. "Hey Jakey, I'm heading back now. Is dinner ready?" he asked when he called Jake

"Yes, of course!" Jake said. "I actually didn't forget to plan anything for your birthday today. I wanted you to get away for a bit so I could execute the plan." Jake laughed a bit. "Happt birthday baby."

"Oh? Well I'm glad that you didn't forget, but I'm really curious what you have planned tonight" he admitted on the phone. He drove up to the house and walked up to the door

Jake lit the candles on the table and set down the plates that had their food on them. He looked at Dallas when he walked in. "Hey handsome!" He said and kissed him.

"Hey darling" Dallas greeted kissing him. He pulled away and looked at the table. "You did this all for me?"

Jake nodded. "And if you're down for it, I was thinking we could have a "special night" tonight." He said, biting his lip a tad bit.

Dallas's eyes widened as he heard that. "You would actually want to do that?" he asked surprised

Jake nodded and smiled. He loved seeing Dallas this happy.
