  • Chiharu's eyes widened a bit as she looked at him in awe. Ice... Release... B-But only the Yuki Clan holds that skill! Her fists clench a bit as she looked at him with narrowed blue eyes. "Kekei Genki." She voiced before turning around, messing with the arm braces she has on. "Cute." She said, giving him a sideways glare. "Now a question. Do you know who I am?" It didn't sound as gentle as her voice was before.

Ichiei sensei held a hand out to Kyoko. "I'm sending you three out on a mission today..." he whispered to only her. "You're going to take lead and call the shots. Don't let them know all the details alright?"

  • “One of the daughters of the ‘main branch’ family in the Yuki clan.” He said nonchalantly. “Anyone who deals with ice jujitsu hears about that clan. Our family never lets us forget it, especially since to them we are just bastard children of a traitor.”

Kyoko raised a brow as she got up with his help. “Okay, what is this about?” She asked in a low tone.

  • Ichiei bent in closer and covered his mouth from view. "Word is that some ninja from the Hidden Sand Village stole top secret files from the library... This is a B to A mission... I know Shrimp over there is fresh out of the academy, but the Hokage gave team 13 this mission..."

Chiharu looked away and straightened her crop top cover shirt. The children of a traitor? Hmm... She turned around and changed her facial expression completely. I wonder if he can control his Kekei Genkei... I still haven't.... "Well I can tell you, I'm not like my mother,so off put about others."

  • The bluenette nods. “Alright... where was the last known location of ninja thief?” She asks, crossing her arms over her chest. Might as well and get all the information of the mission now before they go.

“Good for you. There’s no need in being like our parents anyways. We all need to make our own marks in the world.” He chirped, watching the female. “Especially now when my twin and I are being suffocated by the Tanaka legacy and expectations. Me being expected to be one of the best ninjas of the clans to prove that I’m not like my father who they deemed traitor. Kyoko expected to be a bride to the highest bidder and make the clan even stronger. Naturally she despises being treated as nothing more than an object. That’s why she works as hard as she does so fault her too much if she gets snappy with you.”

  • Chiharu looked at him with a steady gaze. He must be at least 2 years older than her. 3 tops. She shrugged. She was 15, older than most Genin who come out. Usually they were 12 or 13. Her mother thought it be best to start a couple of years later so her clan could teach her more. She nodded, though she did want to become the leader of the Yuki Clan... to make it better than what it once was. "You said you can use your... Ice Release right? D-Do you have a good control over it?"

Sensei stood still. "The scouts saw a man heading to the far east section of our village. The docs that lead towards the land of the sand people." He spoke. "You guys need to be careful. The scouts are to believe he was a Joenin at least."

  • Satoshi nods. “We have decent control over it but it works best if Kyoko and I use it together rather than alone.” He explained. “It’s what makes us deadly. Why do you ask if you don’t mind me inquiring?”

Kyoko frowns, humming to herself thoughtfully. “Understood sensei. Anything else I need to know about this mission before we prepare to leave?”

  • Ichiei shook his head. "The only other thing is that this guy can go through walls. You guys got to leave immediately."

Chiharu froze in slight fear. "N-No reason! Just curious if someone who wasn't trained by other Ice Release users has a good grasp of it..."

  • The bluenette nods. “Understood sensei. We’ll head out immediately and deal with the thief as soon as possible.”

Satoshi shrugged. “It took us a while to even get started but once we started to play around with various ways we can use the technique for. It was a lot of testing and fails before we got an idea on how to use it properly.”

  • Chiharu nodded slowly. "I see." As she said this, she saw their sensei disappear into the mist. She took a couple steps, confused. Still, she was panting and she was tired... "Where did he go?" She questioned, glad Satoshi didn't see through her lie.

  • Kyoko turned to her other team members. “I’m sure you want to rest but we have a mission straight from the Hokage so we need to go now. Sensei put me in charge for this so we shouldn’t stall any more than necessary.”

  • “B to A mission so we must leave now. Our target is a thief who stole something from the sand village library and is now near our village.” She answered, making sure both of her daggers are on her.

  • She tensed up and reached for her whip, now attaching it to her hip so it would be at an easier reach. B to A?! I'm going to die before I become a Chuning! She stretched out. "Alright, let's do this."

  • Kyoko nods, putting her long blue hair into a ponytail as to keep it from getting into her face during the mission. With that, she went onto the move, leading the group to where the last sighting of the thief was at.

  • She was terrified; her eyes wide. What was to happen? She didn't know but she followed along, trying to keep up with them, but always ended up in the back of the group. That scared her too because someone could ambush them from behind... She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself so her chakra could regenerate faster

  • Satoshi occasionally glanced behind him to see if Chiharu was doing okay with keeping up with them. Noticing that she was lagging a bit behind them, he pinched Kyoko’s arm and pointed to the younger girl before slowing his pace enough to be moving beside her rather than ahead (which Kyoko did something similar).

  • Haru smiled a bit as they slowed down a bit. She felt bad that they couldn't rush add fast as they usually would, but nonetheless she was grateful. Now it just mastered weather or not they could catch this guy and get the documents back.

  • “Nervous about your first mission?” Satoshi asked as they hurried as quickly as possible to reach their target. He could understand why if she is, especially since she just finished with the academy.
