Well, this was peculiar. He had found a note this morning with some strange directions that he wouldn't have too much time to think about. They directed him to make a move on Archie, which sent him both into a state of confusion and panic. The letter was anonymous and he had no clue of who gave it to him, but it certainly caused him some distress. It was nearly Valentine's Day and while he personally saw no problem with not having having a date, but apparently someone else had other plans for him... Uhh, what the heck would he do? He didn't think of his relationship with his friends too often so he hadn't contemplated much at all on whether he liked anyone in that way or not. The young boy was unsure.
But, after a few hours of contemplation and stress over the note, he figured "what the heck?"; maybe he'd have fun. Maybe she wanted a date, too. Ugh, this was awkward. His anxiety flowed through each part of his body as he just thought about it. He spent most of the day doing something he hadn't done in a long time...thinking. He had tried to avoid it but now he sort of had to. This was a bigger deal than conversing with someone. His feelings wouldn't be hurt if she said no, as he didn't even really know how he felt, but he didn't want to potentially make things awkward between them. How would Mike do this? Girls didn't really like Crashed, as far as he knew, anyway. He wasn't really desirable. He was a shy boy with no cool qualities and was probably pretty depressing to be around, too. He depended on others and wasn't good at a lot of things. He let out a huff.
He would have to make it special, but not too special. Nothing that she would feel bad about saying no to, but not something so dull that she wouldn't even be slightly impressed by. Like, he couldn't just ask it outright. That'd be too scary. Ugh, was it too late to ask? Valentines Day is tomorrow. He needed to do something, and fast. The dragon eventually would decide to draw her and his roleplayer was gonna show what it looked like but then his tablet driver decided to break. And him, too? Just sitting together. Nothing too crazy or sappy. He began to doodle away quietly, trying to spend too much time on it but also not have it look rushed. This was a struggle. Should he get her something else? She liked the ocean a lot. Maybe he'd grab some seashells.
Or maybe he'd grab a lot of seashells. He ended up making a bouquet of flowers and seashells. Um, was this too much or not enough? Or was it just right? He thought it was just right. It was more traditional, anyway - minus the seashells and drawing. Uhh, should he wear something? Like a tie? He had no clue. Umm, maybe not? His anxiety began to spike as he felt the moment growing nearer. Oh God. He couldn't do this. There was no way. He should have thought about this more. Oh no. He gulped, feeling like he'd gone too deep. He already did this much... Ugh. He felt like he was going to throw up. Or cry. Or both. This was so nerve-racking. Curse that damn note...
But it was beginning to grow towards the end of the day. It was now or never. And so, the boy would look for the feline, holding his drawing and bouquet of shells, almost visibly shaking. "U-Uh, Ar-Archie?" he called, voice cracking. Oh God. This was so embarrassing. Maybe he shouldn't have done this. "I-I wanted to a-ask you some-something."
