"He said boy you need prayer...I guess it couldn't hurt me"
A flash of black fur mingling with glimpses of white hurtled through the forest. It was nearing the evening, so shadows were reaching longer and longer. Sometimes the fur would disappear into a shadow, only for a flash of white to bring it back to life. Berrypaw had never felt more free. He was allowed to leave camp on his own now, and he took this to heart. After finishing he last chores for the day he dove out of Thunderclan camp. There was so much to experience in the forest. His wounds had healed enough from his torture that when he ran they wouldn't break back open which helped to be urged faster. A rather large tom for his age he might even be mistaken for a young warrior, or at least an older apprentice. He paw hit a rock rather hard causing him to curse out loud. The pain brought him into his memories, but his body just kept running. It must have been awhile that he was caught up in his thoughts because when he came back to he was in completely different terrain. The trees were different and the ground rockier, it appeared to be going up like the base of a large hill. He sniffed the air and smelled a clan, but not one he was familiar with. His ears flattened, oh no. Last time he had smelled an unfamiliar clan he had gotten tortured by the Bloodclan leader. He turned around trying to smell his way back all of his senses alert.
