The male's black mane, tussled by the wind from flying over to the Shadow Veil, looked quite a messy sight. Vasin himself, looked quite a messy sight -- with ice crystals haphazardly forming in his mane and almost covering his tail completely, he certainly felt more like an ice elemental than a real lion. But he'd heard that the Shadow Veil was ruled by a flaming canine-hybrid, so perhaps he had that in common with their leader. "Hello, I am Vasin, the new leader of Wind Haven. I ask to speak with your high positions to inquire about neutrality or, perhaps, an alliance," the tan beast spoke, cold plumes of air escaping his lips with every syllable.

BUT WHEN YOUR WOUNDS OPEN, YOU WILL CRY
soundcheck / shadow veil & duskguard / male / tags & information
*:・゚✦ Soundcheck, it seemed, was the first high position to arrive. Wind Haven hadn't caused any trouble recently, though...didn't Shadow Veil take over their home or something? Eh, whatever. "I'm Soundcheck, a Duskguard here. Until a higher up comes along, you can speak with me." He nodded. He couldn't accept the alliance, but he was generally curious, and the words spilled out of his mouth. "Exactly why do you want this neutrality or alliance? What can you offer Shadow Veil?"
"Speech."
-
Unfortunately for him he would find neither flames nor a canine hybrid that would be approaching him but a black lioness that carried the heavy plummage frosted air that drifted down from her body. Ice trailed after her and she shivered a bit as she lifted her one frost bitten blue eye toward him. The effects of that super blood moon was still messing with her powers and she frowned a bit. She still had no real idea why Wind Haven had come to them seeking a neutrality or even an alliance for that matter. It was a bit far fetched but she would hear him out regardless. Sitting down the frostbitten queen would look upon the male her head tilting to the side a bit. "I'm open to listen to your case, Vasin. What happened to Electrickiss?"
-
YOU SCREAM but there's nobody to hear ! —
Wind Haven had a new leader, huh? He didn't happen to know the old leader, but knew that they had been considered enemies. Ozone was already starting to like Vasin, as he was bold enough to come and request a neutrality at worst and an alliance at best. Having nothing better to comment, he sat politely, folding his tail around his paws.
"Speech" Thoughts Attacking
-
He nodded to the first member to greet him, pleased by the lack of hostility. So far, his initial assumption proved correct -- that the Shadow Veil held little interest in continuing the hostilities. Perhaps it was naive of him, but Vasin didn't care too much that they tried to take over Wind Haven during the previous leaders' reigns. "Thank you, Soundcheck. Truthfully, Wind Haven is very small in numbers now and have little to offer for an alliance. But I believe that I can bring us back from this practically dead state," he spoke, his tone rather cordial, as though he were discussing simple pleasantries rather than his lofty ambitions.
Turning to Sekhmet as the lioness approached, he found himself momentarily puzzled by her appearance; she was renowned as practically the embodiment of fire, yet she appeared colder than himself. "Thank you for your time, Sekhmet. Electrickiss has... disappeared, I suppose. She has yet to challenge me for taking over her group, at any rate," the frosted lion spoke with a bit of an amused and playful grin upon his muzzle. Yes, he held little ill will against the Shadow Veil -- how could he, when he himself took over his home, succeeding where they failed? "I see little point in continuing to see the Shadow Veil as enemies; it's true that you tried to take us over, but Electrickiss -- and the past few leaders before her, as well -- have been weak and ineffective. I can't blame your Clan for trying to take advantage of the very same opportunity I pounced on," he explained, having very little respect for the previous leaders before him. Wind Haven had a history of grand leaders, but they were eons ago; so much so that clinging to the past grandeur seemed utterly idiotic to him.
"However, as the Shadow Veil did try to take over Wind Haven... I have to assume there's something in my group that you want, hence the alliance. We have plenty of salt in our mountains, weapons in our armory, and I'm planning on introducing sheep and goats to our resources list. In an alliance with us, I can assure you that you'll, at the very least, have plenty of lamb to feast on," the lion spoke, lifting his chin a tad. Groups didn't take over others for nothing, otherwise why go through the effort?

BUT WHEN YOUR WOUNDS OPEN, YOU WILL CRY
soundcheck / shadow veil & duskguard / male / tags & information
*:・゚✦ He nodded at Vasin's response, then listened to what he had to propose. Well, that did seem reasonable. He had no clue why Shadow Veil tried to take over Wind Haven anyway--and didn't really care much. He glanced over at Sekhmet, who had arrived after him, awaiting her decision on the matter.
"Speech."

I GOT A FEVER FOR THE VIOLENT BEHAVIOR —
Hahaha. The Wind Haven? They were still alive and kicking? An amused smirk crossed his face as the pale direwolf joined the trio, only stopping upon reaching Sekhmet's side. Despite the position of the neutral group, he had to admit, this "Vasin" guy was doing an okay job selling their group for a possible alliance. Salt and livestock, they sounded pretty sustainable. Aside from that, Mae was especially tickled by the fact that Vasin admitted the past few Wind Haven leaders were shit, of course, in kinder words. Even with all of that in mind, he wasn't completely convinced by the other male. "Who are your current allies?" The pale canine would query, after all, what use would an alliance be if all the Wind Haven allies were their enemies.
-
▲ unlike most of these fuckers, streetfighter knew nothing about politics. nada. nor did he give a damn shit about them. he was more interested in video games and other cooler stuff than this bullshit. but, nonetheless, the canine showed up to this little... event. he decided he wasn't going to question anything, as he'd most likely get in trouble or some stupid bullshit. so, instead, he just glared softly at vasin and his clanmates, wondering what they'd say.
"speech", 'thoughts', attack, actions

The male lion eyed Soundcheck and Streetfighter, mostly out of curiosity; the two didn't seem inclined to enter the negotiating table, and he didn't exactly want to deal with having to convince all of Shadow Veil for an alliance. Focused debates were much more reasonable. Looking over to the white direwolf that spoke to him, a flicker of familiarity sparked in Vasin's mind, but he couldn't place it -- hmph, he was too young to have his memory be this shitty.
"We are neutral-aligned, with most of our current allies standing as neutral as well. Our allies include The Thunderlands, SunClan, Riverside, HawkClan, The Sanctuary, and The Empire," he answered, knowing that the Shadow Veil was on bad terms with at least one of them, but otherwise mostly neutral with the others. Hardly a conflict of interest there. After a short pause, he added, "As for the Thunderlands, we have remained neutral in your conflict with them, and will try to stay out of it regardless of whether the Shadow Veil humors my alliance request or not." True enough; Wind Haven hardly did anything with the Thunderlands besides attending a few of their events.

THERE'S A DANGEROUS KIND OF COOL ABOUT YOU —
so the wind haven wanted some kind of alliance, huh? it seemed like all kinds of proclans wanted to hop on the shadow veil train lately, and steve didn’t know what to think of it. more allies always made the clan stronger, but with such conflictions in belief and contradicting allies it didn’t seem to wise to steve to allow this descion. but who was he to decide, after all he was simply a nightwatcher.
“mornin’ dipshits”, he greeted as he approahced, taking a curt seat next to streetfighter and countinuing to say, “allies with the thundershits eh? hmph. i don’t know, this whole thing has quite the pros and cons list growin’ here”. the comment was directed to no one in particular, as it was simply an outward thought.
-
"You know, I did succeed in taking over Wind Haven, back when it was called Windclan. My reasonings for it were purely emotionally driven but all the same your little friends the Thunderlands have a nack for butting into things that don't concern them. I guess they saw you as too weak to be able to defend yourselves." The female shrugged her shoulders as the past was the past and she saw nothing wrong with it. Cometophilia's try at taking them over was too rushed and careless. Though it was a wonder that a giant dragon couldn't take over an empty clan. Electrickiss had not been much but then again she shared some of the same habits as the Thunderlands did. Her eyes watched the lion before her as he offered her things in exchange for an alliance between their two groups. But she was uncertain mainly for the fact that they were still friends with the Thunderlands. It irked her an rubbed her the wrong way. Sighing with a bit of frustration she looked toward nothing in particular before she called out for her deputies. "Fragile, Quasar, let me know what you also think on this situation before I make a decision."
-
The angry teenager wandered over, catching the last bit of Vasin's little speech. Sounded like the lion had some selective memory or some shit, because the Shadow Veil certainly fucked up WindClan over the course over their history. Then again... the lion did specify recent conflicts, which Quasar could understand. He didn't even remember the last time they got pissed off at Wind Haven. The dudes were practically already neutrals in most ways, except that they still ticked the box for an enemy.
Looking at Sekhmet, he huffed. "I'm fine with a neutrality with them -- like SunClan, they haven't given us shit in the past few months and don't seem keen on war," he spoke with a shrug, wanting to state that out of the way before he thought about the alliance request. Quasar didn't exactly like war when it wasn't justified; the Blackhearts and the Cartel and the Renegades? Those bastards deserved a taste of their own bitchass ways, but Wind Haven was too peaceful to justify attacking them.
He snorted, though, as he looked back at Vasin. "But an alliance? That's a different matter. Would you drop the Thunderlands as allies if we did grant it to you, hm? Because I do understand your reasoning -- you're a tiny blimp on the map right now, and the Thunderlands are your most powerful allies, after BlizzardClan dropped your asses due to Electrickiss's incompetence. You can't just isolate yourselves further, because that's what got you into this shithole. But The Thunderlands are a bunch of pussies and don't make worthwhile allies, do they? What, do they make events where all they do is sing campfire songs and defend keeping a fucking pedophile as one of their highest ranked members?" Quasar shot, hitting truthbomb after truthbomb because he was a political player that didn't hold his punches.
Maybe Vasin was just fucking ignorant about Feliks. Perhaps the lion already knew that the Thunderlands were shit at events and even shittier at war -- that's what Quasar was betting on. With SunClan falling to pieces and The Thunderlands losing their moral highground once more, the pro and neutral groups were decentralizing. It made sense to jump ship now.
-
He rolled his eyes. An alliance with the Thunderlands? Nope, nope. He was starting to grow a hatred for them as a whole now, not for defending a pedophile--but because they were also defending a child thief. They were stupid enough to hold them both.

His gaze remained steady on Sekhmet as she spoke, though the woman seemed unable to quite reach a decision yet -- which, he supposed, meant no unless her seconds were in favor. Ah, it was a long shot anyway; neutrality was good, and he got himself a bit more experience on diplomacy, especially with one of the larger groups. Regardless of the loss, it was still worth the effort.
His ears flicked as he looked over at Quasar, trying very hard to keep a straight and neutral face as this small kitsune blathered and swore. But the kid had points, even if they were buried under mountains of swear words and rage. His nose twitched as he heard of a pedophile in their ranks -- because that, that did trouble him. He frowned, jaw clenching. "I'll investigate on the pedophile matter. If your claims are true, then the Thunderlands will be dropped from allies entirely," he spoke with a harder note to his voice. He had wondered why BlizzardClan dropped the Thunderalnds to enemies; this would make sense, given BlizzardClan's intolerance for such crimes.
Though the kid had made one right guess in all that -- why the hell would Vasin want to be diplomatically tied to a group that butted into business they didn't have a say in, while also failing to properly end their wars? Vasin wanted peaceful allies and trade routes, not an ally that thought themselves this great war machine, but couldn't even do much more than crack a kid's jaw into pieces. "But I'll drop them here and now, if that's what you want to prove that Wind Haven isn't their bedfellow," Vasin added with a slight snort. Thus far, those here seemed to think of Wind Haven as an almost satellite to the Thunderlands. Which was a notion he certainly wanted dead.

FRAGILEPAST
"TALKING" || 'THOUGHTS' || 'TELEPATHY'
An alliance with them? That’s truly a shame, seeing that the male wanted more pricks to mess with. Fragilepast only wandered over to see what type of shitfest this would be, but to see be asked for his opinion on the matter was rather ridiculous in his opinion. The answer seemed obvious to him. Then again, he is a cowardess prick who thinks everyone around him is his own enemy, so maybe not so much. Nevertheless, he had to think long and hard on this, seeing as this was now made out to be his situation to deal with.
What they offered was fair. Though the Wind ‘Whatever The Fuck They Were Calling Themselves These Days’ Haven weren’t known to be fighters. Just so, any weaponry might be of great use to them. He enjoyed claws, personally, but this opportunity seemed like a good one. Then again, every clan promises such thing. Wind Haven were on the small side of things too and their offer of neutrality with their enemies(aka their allies) wasn’t sounding any more pleasant to his ears. What a fucking pathetic attempt. “Neutrality seems sustainable.” The lion’s words did stray him though. Quasar did have his points about Feliks and to see that the male was willing to drop a close ally so quickly because of their words... Well, hell, that was impressive. The King of Hell’s lips curled into an barely noticeable smirk as he tried to keep his cool. “I admire your persistence to serve our needs, Vasin,” Fragilepast cooed. “Even if you didn’t align with us, wouldn’t you have dropped them anyways?” Certainly, they most likely didn’t think of this. If those rapist allegations were true, Vasin would of dropped them immediately or else they would be seen as supporting such a thing. Despite that, he found their willingness to comply astonishing and let himself pursue the idea of an alliance anyways, as they’ve seemed to prove themselves. “Though, I do enjoy how you take what you want.”
The panther purses his lips together momentarily. His green gaze strayed over towards Sekhmet with a questioning look. “I like this one, darling,” he finally piped up. A claw tip pointed at Vasin’s chest and then rose up to his throat as he smiled cockily. “I say we take a gamble for the hell of it and ally with the Wind Haven in hopes that they succumb to our needs and bend the knee.” Maybe not now... but soon. Keep friends close, but enemies even closer.

A purr left her throat at Quasar and Fragile's words because they spoke the truth of the matter wholly. It was the lack of justice that Deutschland spouted constantly that made him a hypocrite and plus he gave that rapist a high position. It was even known the things that Feliks had done while he was in the Cartel, speaking of selling someone as a sex slave while in a raid. It was disgusting but he wanted him as a friend and thus she had already decided that he supported those acts and might as well be an enabler of rape and pedophilia. It was what the mutt deserved anyway and so she gave a light nod of her head as she looked to Vasin. He was quick to understand just like how Aleksei was that the Thunderlands were no better than the Cartel, no better than the Renegades who both were attempting to change their image instead of owning up to what they had done. They were scared and too afraid to be what they were supposed to be so now they were trying to assimilate and it was killing them. "Very well, if the Thunderlands are no longer allies of your's then I wouldn't mind having you be allies of Shadow Veil. Welcome, Vasin. I hope to meet with you soon."
-
Well, it seemed he won himself an alliance; how unexpectedly wonderful. He'd set him up to expect neutrality, but accomplishing his goals was quite great. "Thank you; I'll announce the alliance to my Clan and set up an ambassador to the Shadow Veil," Vasin said with a quick dip of his head.
