  • Amara was relieved that her slip up wasn't focused on too much, a smile working its way back on to her face at the offer. "Really? That would be wonderful thank you! I've never really seen anyone do magic like that." She had seen plenty of novice wizards performing spells for money of course, but most of those tricks involved simple fireballs.

She was a bit relieved as she heard that she could stay, settling back down and shifting around for a moment to get comfortable. The Elf's gaze however was soon captivated by the Queen's finger as the woman drew shapes. Now this was certainly new for her. She marveled at the complex shapes, her bright blue eyes seeming to light up even more in excitement.

The hearts had been surprising however, bring the Elf's face back into a small blush as she meet the other's gaze. "Th-That was really impressive...m-my queen." That title seemed to roll off the Elf's tongue so much easier than the others.

  • With a light smile playing across she drew another heart before letting it lazily float over to Amara. It seemed to please her hearing the new title the Elf called her by now. Then she went back to drawing other shapes thinking quietly to herself. "Most demons have small amounts of magic. But it is fairly taxing to do so often." She yawned again after saying this pausing in her drawing.

"Still, it can be quite fun to play around with." The Queen seemed to softly laugh into her hand trying to cover it up. Another slight yawn came from her lips before she wiped away the shapes she had been drawing. She closed her eyes quietly making open believe that she had possibly started to drift off before her hand rose up towards the ceiling.

On the ceiling a large shadow appear bathing the whole room in darkness for a moment before it grew lighter. A picture of a clear blue sky projected itself on to the ceiling above. It clearly wasn't the same sky that was outside, which always seemed perpetually dark and cloudy. Humming she let the illusion stay on the ceiling although kept her eyes closed yawning again. "Maybe I can show you how to use a bit of magic someday." The Queen added as she slowly opened an eye to look over at the Elf.

  • Amara gently reached up to touch the heart, giggling slightly as a small tingling sensation went through her hand. She had never really been this close to any sort of magic. She lightly hummed in interest as she listened to the Queen, her gaze flickering back to the other's face as she spoke.

Hearing the laugh, even as little as she did, made the Elf grin; though she was quick to settle it down to a small smile, not wanting the Queen to notice it. Her eyes returned to the woman's hand, following its movements curiously. An audible gasp left the young Elf as she saw a clear blue sky.

"That's amazing!" A grin soon returned to Amara's face as she stared up at the projection, her gaze only broken when the Queen spoke again. "R-Really?!" She asked, resisting the urge to hug the demon. "That would be great! You must be a wonderful teacher."

  • The Queen looked at the projection quietly a calm look as she stared up at the clouds seeming to roll by. The smile grew ever so slightly when she heard the Elf exclaim. Glancing over she put her hand back over her mouth covering the soft second of laughter that came out. When Amara turned to look her way the Queen let her hand drop away clearing her throat again as if to disguise her laughter as something else. She nodded in assurance when Amara asked if she meant it.

She raised a brow when the Elf seemed sure that Thana would make a good teacher. Thana rolled over to look at the Elf for a long moment. "What makes you think that?" She asked curiously tipping her head to the side as she yawned again. Her dark eyes watched her for a while longer still keeping the tiny hint of a smile of her face.

Yawning again she cast her eyes upwards at the sky. She hummed and waved her hand in the air letting the projection fall away. Thana hummed as she turned back to Amara. "What would you like to learn most?" She asked ideally as she yawned a little louder. She covered her mouth as she yawned trying to cover up the yawn.

  • Amara was confused by the question, however she quickly responded. "Well you've got all the qualities of a good one! You're powerful, smart, and you don't seem like the harsh kind." The Elf smiled slightly as she quickly added, "Well you're not harsh to me anyway." The Queen had been more than hospitable to her, in her own opinion anyway.

She cast one last glance at the projection as it faded, looking back to Thana as she asked another question. "Hmm...I don't know honestly. Whatever you suggest for most part, your magic is really unique." She replied after a small moment of thought, lightly tapping her chin before she spoke.

She covered her own mouth as a yawn leaked out of it. It was getting rather late, she supposed anyway seeing as she hadn't seen any reliable way of telling time so far. The Elf considered for a moment asking if she might just rest there with the Queen but turned red and shook the thought away.

  • Thana seemed quite amused by her reasoning of why she would be a good teacher. "Thank you, dear. You are very sweet." The Queen said softly as she started her eyes a little. However, they remain partly open as Amara gave her an answer to her second question. Nodding she gave a light yawn. "We will talk on it more in morning." The Queen mumbled softly before she shut her eyes for a moment.

She was quiet for several moments before she suddenly seemed to realize something. She opened her eyes one last time. "You can sleep here tonight if you want." The Queen looked over at her seeing how red her face was.

After saying this Thana gave the Elf one last smile before she finally drifted started to fall asleep. Once she had drifted to sleep her face was much more gentle. She seemed much more relaxed and at peace then she did when she was awake. The Queen didn't seem to mind falling asleep next to the Elf. It was quite strange to everyone around the Queen's actions with Amara. None of them could explain what she was doing.

  • Amara giggled slightly in reaction to the compliment, using her hand to hide the slight flush on her face that had also appeared. When the Queen had closed her eyes and was seemingly about to fall asleep the Elf was moving to sit up, not wanting to disturb the other woman.

The offer immediately stopped her though, and she quickly settled back into the bed next to Thana. She smiled shyly as she closed her eyes as well, a small sigh escaping her as she began to drift off into sleep.

Amara had never slept in a bed with another person before, especially not someone that she had just met. That didn't seem to bother the young Elf now though as she fell asleep a few moments after the Queen, glad to get some rest after the busy day.

    (Timeskip to morning?)

  • The following morning there was a soft rasp on the door, that would be fairly easy to miss. Still, it seemed to be enough to make the Queen open her eyes immediately. "Come in." She said to whoever was on the other side of the door before seeming to realize that she might wake up the Elf sleeping in the bed beside her. It was too late though as the door opened slowly. The demon then peaked her head through the door. She seemed to widen her eyes when she saw that the queen was not sleeping alone in her bed. The Queen waved her hand clearly expecting the demon to come in even though she was clearly shocked. The demon scuttled in bowing briefly to the Queen who offered no explanation for who the Elf was or why she was in her bed. The Queen slipped herself out of the bed adjusting her robe slightly. Behind the first demon another appeared bowing the same as the first and equally as shocked to see the Elf in the Queen's bed.

Behind the last demon came the same woman who had found Amara peeking into the room the day before. She tipped her head forgetting to bow for a moment before a sharp look from the two demons lead her to bow as well finally. Thana looked at the three attendants pointing to the human woman with a long nailed finger. "Assist Amara however she might need it getting ready." The Queen said simply before sitting down on the vanity.

The two demons quickly went over to begin getting the Queen ready. The woman blinked tipping her head to the side before sighing before walking towards the the Elf. "Come on let's get you ready." She mumbled quickly shutting up when she suddenly saw that the Queen was looking towards her with a sharp glare. "Apologies." She muttered softly bowing her head.

  • Amara was apparently not too light of a sleeper, seeing as most of this noise from the door and the demons entering only made the young Elf shift a bit in the bed. She didn't stay asleep too long however, sitting up after a moment and yawning. She glanced around the room as she stretched, giving the Queen a small wave as she glanced at the woman near her.

"Oh good morning everyone, did I oversleep?" She asked curiously as she rubbed her eyes, another small yawn escaping her. It took her a moment to realize what was going on but when she did the Elf get off the bed and looked around. "Um, miss?" She asked, looking back at the woman. The Elf recognized her of course, but decided not to drawn any attention to that.

"Can you help me with my hair really quick?" She usually kept it down like it was but she figured she might as well try to impress a little bit and put it up into a braid.

  • The Queen briefly waved back although she wasn't able to turn her head much since the demons were buzzing around already beginning to brush out her hair. For Thana to have her elaborate hair styles it took a good amount of attention and time to do. Thana watched Amara through the mirror as she got up. The woman who was standing off to the side she perked up as the Elf asked for her help with her hair. "Of course come on let's go in the other room." She said quietly still glancing over at the Queen as she continued to get her hair styled. Thana seemed to have turned her attention to the attendants talking with them very quietly. They seemed extremely intent on their conversation.

Shaking her head the woman then grabbed the Elf's hand ignoring any misgivings the Queen herself might have to her doing this. Moving quickly towards the other room she had Amara in tow. She didn't slow down until the door was shut behind them. letting out a deep breath she let go of the Elf's hand turning to face her.

"What is going on with you and the Queen?" She asked excitedly tipping her head to the side. The woman was clearly curious what exactly was going on. She stared at the Elf curiously tipping her head to the side. "Everyone is curious." The woman admitted with a bright smile.

  • Amara nodded in agreement, stretching out a bit more as she watched Thana for a moment. It wasn't everyday that the Elf got to see a queen get ready. Although, she supposed that might become a lot more common than she thought. She was a bit surprised as she was pulled away but she didn't fight back, following the other woman into the room.

She glanced back at the woman in surprise at the question, causing her to think on that for a moment. She supposed there wasn't much going on with her and the Queen, although the Elf's emotions begged to differ. After thinking for awhile she shrugged in reply.

"Nothing really. We've had a couple nice conversations but that's been about it." It wasn't a complete lie, yet it wasn't the whole truth either. She didn't want to reveal too much, lest people think that there was something going on that wasn't really going on.

  • Her answer was extremely underwhelming for the woman who clearly wanted more then a nice conversation. It was utterly boring to her. Sighing the woman shrugged a little and motioned to the mirror and then slowly started to make her way over to the dresser in the room. "That is extremely dull. Just talking doesn't typically happen in the bed." She pointed although seemed to give up on any further questions focusing on what clothes to get out. Humming as she went she had her back to the Elf. Stopping suddenly she went to the door and peaked out for a moment. After she did she slowly drew back in.

"Any preferences on clothing?" She asked as she moved her way back to the drawers. She probably should have started off with that question instead of asking about what might be going on. It was clearly disappointing that there was nothing better to report. She then leaned against the dresser while she waited for an answer.

Once she pulled out a few types of clothing the woman laid them out for her to decide. She hummed softly as she closed the drawers. Turning back around she raised a brow after a moment. "Would you like more to have happened?" The human asked with a sly smile.

  • Amara looked at herself in the mirror, humming to herself for a moment as she brushed some of her hair out of her face. She giggled slightly at the first remark. "It was the only place to sit." She shrugged in reply, glancing back at the other woman when she heard the question.

The Elf looked over the clothing for a moment, holding some of them up for examination before she decided on a comfy yet rather fancy purple dress. The question made her face flare up in red as she looked away from the other woman.

"O-Of course not! Everything was rather lovely and I look forward to having more talks. N-Nothing else." She mentally cursed herself for her reaction, making what little credibility she had almost instantly melt away.

  • The woman covered her mouth as she tried to hold back her laughter. It was clear despite what she was saying that her reaction to the question said differently. Her muffled laughter could be heard as she turned herself away as to not make it as obvious that she was laughing at her. A sharp knock at the door made her straighten up though and her laughing stopped. "Is she ready yet?" Came the voice of one of the female demons who was helping the Queen. "She will be ready in a few moments." She answered quickly before grabbing the girl's hand and dragging her towards the mirror.

"We need to get your hair done now." She said urgently not waiting a moment before she started to brush out her hair. She was not very gentle or slow about what she was doing. She did manage to finish it brushing it out though rather quickly. Sighing slightly she bit her lip looking over Amara through the mirror. "I'm going to give you a braid." She decided on her own and her hands went to work braiding strands of hair together in a loose flowing braid.

Once she was finished she stepped back beaming. "Finish getting ready." She insisted pointing to the clothing. The woman bossed her around more akin to talking to a child. The knock came again. "She will be ready in a moment." The woman called back. The attendant could be heard grumbling something although it was unclear what. "Her Majesty does not have a moment to waste. Come out now." The attendant demanded seeming determined to come in. The Queen's voice could be heard on the other side of the door. "I do have a moment." She corrected the attendant sternly before they both retreated from the door.

  • Amara calmed her blush down, sending the woman a small pout as she did so. She really needed to get better control of her reactions, she couldn't even count how many times this had happened already. The knock startled her but she quickly recovered as she was lead back to the mirror, leaving the clothing laid out like it was before she had picked it out. She sighed for a moment to steady herself and glanced back at the other woman.

She winced slightly as her hair was brushed but she didn't bother complaining about it, especially since the woman had gotten it done much faster than she would've been able to herself. She nodded in agreement with the braid idea and waited patiently as the woman worked. She could get used to this, having everything done for her.

The Elf nodded at the order and quickly grabbed her new dress and went behind a curtain to change. After only a minute Amara stepped out with a bright smile and wearing her purple dress. "Alright I'm ready to go!" Although she had no idea where or what she was going to.

  • The woman was waiting on the other side of the curtain casting nervous glances at the door in case Queen decided she really didn't have a moment to wait anymore. She sighed with relief when Amara finally came out finally ready. "Good let's go then." She urged motioning towards the door before walking ahead to open the door for her. Once the door was opened the demons all turned their attention to the room.

The Queen had her hair tied back with her crown resting easily between her horns. She wore a dark blue and silver dress as she stood proudly between the two demons. Turning when she heard the door open she tipped her head to get a good look at the Elf as she came out. She blinked once before turning back to her attendants. She dismissed them with a slight wave of her hand. They both bowed and went out. The human slipped out of the door behind Amara. "Best of luck." She said quietly before quickly bowing herself before hurrying towards the door.

Once the door shut Thana visibly smiled. "Amara, you look lovely." The compliment seemed genuine as her dark eyes studied the woman in front of her. The Queen's heels clicked as she closed the distance between the two of them. "Are you ready to go?" She asked before starting to turn herself towards the door.

  • Amara nodded in reaction, quickly heading to the door with the woman. She didn't want to make the Queen wait any longer after all, it would've been pretty rude to do so; especially since the Queen had sent someone to help her get ready. Once she noticed all the attention on her she grew a bit nervous but she smiled regardless.

The Queen looked just as powerful and amazing as when the Elf first saw her, although this time her heart was beating hard in her chest for a rather different reason. She quickly reigned in those thoughts without a blush though, not wanting to seem distracted or embarrassed in front of the servants.

Once the pair was alone the Elf's face lit up red from the compliment, beaming as the Queen walked towards her. "Th-Thank you my queen, although you look much better than I do." She nodded in reply to the question and followed right behind Thana as they headed to the door. "If I may ask, where are we going?"

  • The Queen sighed softly as she waited to show she was flattered until the servants had left the room. "Purple suits you well." She said softly offering a tiny smile before she continued to the door. Her heels clicked as she lead the way towards the door. When asked where they were going to Queen closed her eyes for a moment. "To meet with one of my advisers, then I need you help to pick out some jewelry." The second request sounded like a slightly odd one, but the Queen didn't stop to acknowledge it. Instead she waited until the doors were pulled open by the guards and walked herself through them.

She glanced over her shoulder briefly to make sure the Elf was keeping up. Her steps did not falter any though and once she was certain that she was with her she continued forwards down the expansive halls. She carried herself with great dignity looking ahead the entire way as walked. Her hands were clasped in front of her.

She then turned down a side hall. The doors on the end were opened for her by the guards stationed there. Inside the room there was a large table that took up the entire room. At the moment the room was entirely empty. Thana moved herself to sit at the head of the table. "Take a seat wherever you like." The Queen motioned to the chairs closest to here before settling herself down.

  • Amara smiled at the compliment, keeping pace just behind the Queen as they walked. She looked rather confused at the Queen's answer, although she didn't ask about it as she walked past the guards. The meeting made sense, although she wasn't sure why the Queen wanted her there, but the jewelry was a complete mystery to the Elf.

As she followed the Queen she did her best to look a bit more regal, standing up a bit straighter and keeping her eyes off the floor. She thought it made her look a bit better anyway, although she supposed it wouldn't matter too much until the meeting anyway.

The Elf looked around the room for a moment with an interested hum, although once the Queen sat down she quickly moved towards the table. She sat in the chair closest to the Queen's on her left side, sending the other a small smile. "I must admit I'm a bit nervous."

  • Having settled herself down before her black eyes looked over to her. The Queen began shaking her head. "You have nothing to be nervous about. They are just old demons who are trying to see who can argue the loudest." She waved her hand in the air. These types of events clearly weren't her favorite, but they were necessary. The demon didn't seem to care all that much if her advisers heard what she was saying about them.

The doors suddenly swung open and several demons began to trickle in. Despite what she said several of the demons appeared younger. They bowed to the Queen. A few blinked at the Elf, some other awkwardly nodded, and even a couple of the younger demons bowed to her along with the Queen. Once the last of the demons were seated Thana sat up clearing her throat.

The other demons turned to look at the Queen. "Let us begin." She said loudly enough, her face a stone mask as she she looked to each of the demons. Then an older demon stood up. "If I may Your Majesty." The demon asked and the Queen nodded in response. The demon began going on about the affairs of the realm. The Queen sighed a little and listened although her eyes occasionally wandered away to Amara from time to time during the meeting. The demons continued to look towards the Elf as well seeming to be curious why she was here.
