  • CLEVER DEVIL・゚✦ It had been a long night and not exactly what he had been expecting. Dimitri hadn't got much sleep last night since he had been busy to take care of Haiiro and the information he had got from him about his condition he had found him in after waking up from that nightmare had been quite shooking. Even now he was still trying to puzzle all of it together. At the very least had to say the night had been weird and very odd not exactly sure what he was suppose to make out all of it. There was so many things he not really understood about not when it come to Haiiro. This was something new for him and during thier talk had thought back when they had spend time when he had been Inu. What exactly did it meant though?.

They had stayed up late and talked in the middle of the night but eventually Haiiro had finally fallen asleep and himself had taken some rest but to be honest hadn't got one blink of sleep. The whole night he had stayed up to think deeply into his own thoughts until the first sun lights had entered the room which meant the morning had come and he should take his leave. Quietly had the kitsune got up on his paws, giving a slight look over at his shoulder towards the bedroom Haiiro probably still slept inside of his bed in peace by the rest of the night. Something tugged at his lips but it was never allowed to make an apperance as he turned his head forward as he started walking towards the door to quietly exit out from the place the canine lived inside.

The sun greeted his mismatched orbs to brightly tell him a new day had arrived. Usual he was quite optimistic to face a new day but now he left a yawn from his maw, gaze narrowed a bit as they tried to get used to the sun again. It was a long way back home towards Riverside if he even would bother himself to get back there. To peaceful for his taste really and there was nothing with that place that really catch his interest. Maybe Shadow veil would be a better fit? that way he would be able to meet Sekhmet again. That idea made a smile bloom out on his lips always enjoying that vampire company. It was just something about her that drawn him in. Her elegence, how powerful she was. She reminded him about Lacie and that was worth his interest and attention.

That moment he seemed to have come up with a plan to where he should head next so started to walk some few steps as he planned to teleport himself away to avoid attention from some special indvindual he not wanted to face. It just felt weird now when he was back to his senses found thier whole interactions quite confusion and...well, he was honestly not sure what to make of it but he didn't really want to figure it out either. He was perfectly fine to live the way he currently did beside he already had a plan of things to create something just for himself.

  • Haiiro had to admit that the night before, he'd said and admitted to much more than he'd originally intended to, but it felt strangely good to get it off his chest. More so, he felt that he was finally growing at least a little closer to Dimitri, if not indebted to the kitsune. He had, after all, saved him from death at the claws and teeth of his night horrors. Once he had started talking, Haiiro couldn't seem to stop. He had let a lot of things out, though not everything, and then promptly fallen asleep in the wee hours of the morning. And to his credit, Dimitri had stuck with him until he fell asleep, maybe even until after. Judging by how fresh Dimitri's scent still was in Haiiro's home when he woke up, he had stayed there all night - not that there had been much of the night left.

Still, it was the rays of sun coming in through a window cut into his home in the roots and trunk of a redwood tree that woke Haiiro up, as he grew uncomfortably hot under their scrutiny. The light itself was invisible to him, just like everything else. At the very least, he was awake, and Dimitri was clearly still nearby. Shoulder aching where the night horror had landed a deep blow, Haiiro got out of bed and to his paws, limping out of his home and into the shockingly chilly day for the amount of sun he had felt on his fur.

"Dimitri, is that you I hear?" the mixed canine called out, hearing the crackle of snow and dead leaves under paws that were not his own. "Sorry about talking your ear off last night. I got a little carried away," he spoke, though his expression didn't look very sorry. More than anything, he looked relieved. He looked the most peaceful he had since before Finch's death, feeling comfortable despite his nightmare and the patched-up wound on his shoulder.

Lucian had no right to judge Dimitri for killing one person (as he killed too), but when it had become multiple people, a mass slaughter, he was distraught. Fortunately for him, the hellshepherd had caught wind of the scent of that damn murderer, and someone else. Someone familiar.

Running over as fast as he could, the black creature leaped over bushes, long legs allowing him speed to gain on the imposter. "Hold it right there, And stay STILL." Snapped the Knight, one golden eye and one Sharingan eye staring down the two. It had been so long, his brain was too fuzzy to remember Haiiro right now, but he did remember that fucking murderer's scent.

"Here to kill another couple of innocent Thunderlanders? I don't think so." Growled the canine, the fur on his spine rising as the bones that encased his rips shifted slightly.

  • CLEVER DEVIL・゚✦  Dimitri stopt instantly when a voice appeared behind of him, the very person he had tried to sneak out from toget unoticed and disappear to be somewhere else. But he had failed this time around. What Haiiro lacked in sight he really made sure to have in his hearing instead. His heart took a little beat inside the chest before he turned himself around to face the mix breed with a smile Haiironot would be able to see anyway but it was good enough to convince anyone else about his facade of a confident mask. " Aha, did i wake ya up?." he spoke with his honey sweet voice but he was cursed to not be able to hide how awkward he felt in the other present through that annoying bond. It seemed like what had happend yesterday had turned Haiiro on a different mood towards him today, positive and even brightful with colors could be one way to put it. How easy people could swift aroundwith thier emotions. A simple outreached hand in kindness seemed to be all that was needed in this case. How to feel about that he wasn't sure normally not being bothered at all about it but now he felt a bit intimated by how emotions could quickly change around. At this moment it was like the past not even existed between them, a moment of peace.

Haiiro did looked more rested now, less distressed like a big burden had lighten from his shoulders. Had he really been the one to have caused that?. Dimitri wasn't used for someone to feel grateful towards him without wanting to laugh them in thier face for it. Clearing his throat a bit the gaze would leave the other male not having been prepared to face him out here today. " Oh don't be i had nothing better to do anyway beside who dosen't love a good talk in the middle of the night, quite refreshing i have to say." he said as he tried to be humours about it. Usual people slept during the night though but sometimes other things come in the way. In any case it was quite refreshing to see Haiiro looking better today. But he would keep that to himself.

Standing there just the two of them was quite peaceful actually but that relaxing atmosphere was domned to end eventually which happend to be in a matter of seconds as the hellshepherd rushed into the scene in speed. Dimitri's attention would get drawn over to this male but his expression wasa bit puzzled. Who was this?. That was strange normally he remembered every face and name of his clanmates. Such hostile words though coming with such accusions. Blinking the kitsune observed closely before smirking while inside he felt rather confused. " Accusing someone for murder this early in the morning. I can assure ya if i would have killed anyone i would have remembered it." he said with a slight chuckle. My, my what ever could he have done now for upsetting someone? stolen candy from a child?. " Although i do remember stealing a candy bar from Regis once so i suppose i'm not completely guilty free." he added in taking all of this like a joke because he had no idea what all of this come from but for sure was it amusing. Pissing people off seemed to be his thing after all.

Regis had admittedly been stalking Lucian like a creep, but ever since he had began to notice that the male had been showing some odd behaviours. The lion was feeling uneasy, but as he lost sight of the hellshepherd he was forced to slow up. Closing his eyes he focused his senses, listening intently and sniffing the air as he examined the landscape around him. However, what he heard and smelled had been very unexpected. Dimitri! Panic seized him when he heard Lucian's words and it made him burst into a run as he rushed to the scene.

    "Lucian, wait!"

Regis called out, dreading that Dimitri was still that feral beast afflicted by the curse. But he was surprised to see a familiar kitsune, not the fearsome creature he had met weeks ago. Hearing Dimitri's words as well only made his mind rush with questions, did he remember anything from his time being wild and feral? It didn't seem so, so of course being accused of murder was going to be a baffling matter. Attacking the guy now without explaining the situation would only cause further trouble. The lion moved to stand between Lucian and the kitsune, using his body as a wall.

"Lets talk this out, please. No fighting, alright?"

  • "I don't think you were what woke me up, but I wouldn't mind even if it was. It's time to get up anyways," Haiiro responded, a little bit of a smile coming through. For the first time in a while, he'd gotten a decent few hours of rest that weren't induced by illness, and so he hadn't minded being woken up, whether it was by the heat of the sun or by Dimitri leaving. He still felt much more well-rested than he had recently, and so he was fine.

And though Dimitri was just as arrogant and charismatic as ever, it was almost comforting to feel the edge of awkwardness over the bond. At the very least, it seemed like Dimitri was actually beginning to care about him, as strange as it felt to say it. He did come when he felt Haiiro's nightmare over the bond, after all. And even after everything he had been through, Haiiro was a trusting person, especially with the bond. Slowly, he was learning to appreciate the honesty it revealed between them instead of hate what it revealed. "I think most people like to have their conversations during the day," the canine responded with a quiet snort of laughter. They were hardly 'most people', the pair of them.

However, Haiiro's good mood was soon interrupted by Dimitri storming over, saying something about murder. Even worse, this... person, though he smelled and sounded like Lucian, did not feel like Lucian. There was something wrong with the boy, something other about his presence. It was unnerving at best, though Haiiro still turned his face to Lucian with a neutral expression. "Lucian, what do you mean, kill more Thunderlanders?" he inquired, his voice coming out as strong as possible when he was still a little hoarse from the nightmares. Clearly, Dimitri had no idea what was going on; Haiiro could feel it through the bond.

And along came Regis, who seemed to have a less violent mindset. "I'd like to figure out exactly what's going on before we descend to blows," Haiiro agreed with a nod, blind gaze directed in Lucian's general direction. He knew he had isolated himself for weeks due to illness, but he surely would have heard about a murder, right?

"You're fucking stupid if you think you can play this off normally. Why are you protecting him, Regis? Fucking kill the bastard! HE KILLED OUR COMRADES!" Snarled the hellhound, his temper flying off the tap. He was angry, he could feel his muscles roar at him to use them. "I lost clanmates because of him!" Lucian snapped, baring glistening jaws towards the three of them. He couldn't reconize Haiiro still. It was all a blur for him now as he took a step forward, his Sharingan activating and spinning angrily. If one were to look into the eye, they would probably be trapped in temporary paralysis.

"We'll fucking kill you for slaughtering our clanmates, you monster!" Snarled the second personality as it took over, the single golden eye slitted and glowing, smoke dissipating from the corners of his mouth. Someone would have to hold Lucian back, because the psychotic hellshepherd was close to attacking.

  • R E G I S

"Lucian, I beg you to stand down! I don't want to fight you but I will if I have to. I won't allow you to touch Dimitri until we've had a chance to speak."

Regis roared back at the hellshepherd. Sometimes it felt like he was trying to talk to a brick wall, and other times he felt like he was facing a daunting maze. Just who should he be talking to in that head of Lucian's? Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he grew increasingly more panicked. He had to do something before it all spiralled out of hand.

He doubted he could force him to eat calming herbs. Perhaps... perhaps he should simply bite him and drain him of some blood, make him sleepy. But it would announce the fact that he was a vampire to everyone in the Thunderlands, as well as someone who assaulted a clan-mate. The volatile situation was truly at a delicate tipping point.

"He killed my comrades too, but... I know the truth. I- I... please, dammit! Let me explain everything!"

  • "Lucian, stop!" Haiiro said, with more force behind his voice this time. He had been in such a good mood, feeling peaceful for once in his damn life, and now this was happening. "Either explain what happened or leave until you can handle this maturely," the canine added, closing his eyes in case there did end up being a fight. No matter how useless they were, he would rather not have them ripped out of his head. "And I may have been sick for a few weeks, but we still have a trial system. Killing on sight isn't how it works around here, Lucian. We gave Fragilepast, of all people, a trial, so why not Dimitri?" Haiiro in response to the secondary voice from Lucian that send chills down is spine, adrenaline rushing through his veins at the sense of self he got as he spoke what he believed with regret or stuttering. He was terrified, yes, but he would not see his new friend torn to shreds for something he had no recollection of.

  • CLEVER DEVIL・゚✦ For a moment there he might actually have enjoyed a conversation with Haiiro or at least close to it, reminded when they had talked when he had been Inu. It had been quiet nice over how the tension had died of between them but now everything had escalated into chaos. This hellshepherd temper was really awful and his threats was real and he could sense something was of with him. Did he fear for his life though?. Since he couldn't really die there was nothing for him to feel concern over really. So he faced it with his smirk that not left his lips like a loyal companion as he felt amused over how someone accussed him for murder. Of course he had commited such things but not on any of the thunderlanners, not under his time of residing here at least. But he was used with it, often getting wrongly accused for stuff so he had learned to play along with it since that itself seemed to give more to himself.

But then, the form of a lion come out of nowhere to stand between himself and the canine. Regis. Aha, the person he had tried to avoid next up after Haiiro. Lovely to meet both of them on the same day. To his suprise though Regis come in to his defence not to accompany the other. But he supposed it made sense since he not had done anything wrong not this time so of course his vampire friend would step in since he not had broken any of the ancient laws of vampires.

The hellshepherd did not stop though and like he had been waiting for it the word finally slipt out from the other mouth. Monster. Oh that was an correct accussion wasn't it? Probably the only right one this one had spat out from his mouth today. Through the bond distaste was experienced to flood over to the other along with bitternes. It was two emotions that not at all come out on the surface on this smugly features of the kitsune.

For a second he had the idea to speak up probably some words on his tounge that would provoke this person further since he was suddenly on a bit of a bad mood. Maybe it was far to early for him to have to listen to this. But he got lost with his own words as Regis stood up for him and soon would Haiiro do as well. Huh. Funny thing that out of everything that was going on what most suprised him was that he got defended through all of this, from the two he never had expected it or imaged it from. A strange feeling settled inside of his guts not even being able to remember when someone even had protected him if it ever had happend that was. Regis though seemed to agree with the furious canine although he still was determined to protect him while Haiiro tried to help him fairly?. Regis did not made much sense for him though taking in his words but had no comment to give since he was rather clueless on everything that was happening.

Blinking the vampire gaze moved to one and then the other, back and forth as he stood there to listen and allow this whole thing to take place. In normal cases he wouldn't really care just accepting it and flee the field after some mocking remarks but since it was Haiiro how had suggested it to give him a chance to prove his innocence in this - he just couldn't run from that. Ahaaaa, this was starting to become far to confusing now. " Yeah, i think i have the rights for a trial to prove my innocence to all of this." he agreed with Haiiro with a cheeky grin. Did he really care? not exactly since he found trials stupied and not always was them stated on facts just others opinions. Well, he suppose he would found out how many people was hating him in this clan by this trial if it would turn out to happen. But it was the fact Haiiro tried to help him that mad ehim bothering enough to care. His whole protection towards him actually touched him somehow.

  • He had heard that Dimitri was the one who had brutally slaughtered a patrol of Thunderlanders. He honestly couldn't see any evidence that would prove Dimitri guilty. He was shocked, however, to see Regis and Haiiro defending him. The little vulpino Italiano dog's brow twitched as he sat down and tilted his head to look up at all the larger figures. "Sure." He muttered. He did prefer giving trials, he probably would have given one to Dimitri if he hadn't run off to wherever he was going. Now he was back, and Lucian was acting extremely aggressive.

He tipped his nose over to Dimitri, raising a paw to point at him. "For now, you will stay in the prison in Hiems, until you are called out for the trial. Expect it to occur tomorrow."

Just like that? A trial, huh. Lucian gave Regis a hateful glare, before snorting softly. "You're fucking disgusting." Snapped the dark personality to the medic, before Lucian's dark glare pointed towards Haiiro. "I don't know who you are, but you might as well stay away from me." Snapped Lucian, turning to Regis. "You're dead to me, stay away from me as well." Growled Lucian, before shouldering past Deutschland, his ears laid back against his cranium as he walked away, blue flames enveloping his paws as he padded into the forest, plants burning under his feet.

  • Haiiro felt Dimitri's wave of bitterness and distaste through the bond they shared, and frowned, though he was glad to scent Deutschland's approach. Strangely, something about the leader seemed different; his voice was strange, and his footfalls were unfamiliar, but the personal scent was the same. Huh. Whatever, he could cross that bridge when he got to it. What really mattered to the canine was getting to the bottom of the accusations that Lucian had thrown at Dimitri.

To Deutschland at the approval of a trial, the canine nodded his thanks. "I'll get to the bottom of this," he said, voice far more subdued than it had been towards Lucian. Deciding to properly use the bond, Haiiro attempted to send a message to Dimitri echoing the feelings of 'don't do anything stupid to get yourself in more trouble'. Hopefully the kitsune was listening.

However, Lucian's snarled words prompted the canine to curl his lip to bare his teeth for a brief moment, though he didn't act on his aggression. Instead, he said, "You won't hear me complaining." He found no issue with ignoring Lucian--in fact, that seemed like the best option at the moment. Not only did he not want to deal with the hellshepherd's aggressive breathing down his neck, but he didn't want to have to face the fact that Lucian had so far shifted from the boy he had once been, focused on justice even when it seemed impossible to prove someone innocent. He wondered how he could have forgotten him, but didn't let that hurt show. He couldn't show weakness while he was still within sight.

  • R E G I S

Deutschland's arrival couldn't have come sooner. At least with his authority and swift decision no violence had to come during that moment. However the lion flinched when Lucian's harsh words hit him and he felt his innards twisting with emotional discomfort. A part of him wished to pursue the hellshepherd in the vain hope of bringing him back to a rational train of thought, whilst the other urged him to stay with Dimitri. Frankly there was only one logical course of action, the only one that would likely stop him from being butchered.

Turning to Deutschland the medic breathed a sigh of relief, truly grateful for his presence.

"Thank you for arriving when you did. I fear Lucian's mental stability is becoming increasingly worse with each passing day. But if we are to have a trial may I please fill Dimitri and Haiiro in on what happened? I do genuinely believe that neither knows the history behind this situation."

There was no point running a trial if the defendant didn't even remember their own crime. Besides, there were questions he wished to ask Dimitri about their last encounter. Hopefully ones that would aid in the presentation of evidence.

  • CLEVER DEVIL・゚✦ My my things was really turning ugly here throwing such distasteful words that come from that hellshepherd mouth. If he not stood accused to have killed clanmates of their he might actually consider to dirty down his paws just to get ride of this rather annoyingly amusing creature. But if he did that everything would be quite pointless and not did he wanted for Regis and Haiiro's efforts to help him out to be in waste now would he?. However this guy happend to be he really wasn't using fair words towards Regis something that not settled well to see a none vampire behave in a such way towards a other vampire of his how only crime in life was to protect someone like himself. He felt no desire to step in and help, words rather pointless and he found it alot more amusing to simple stand back and enjoy when others protected him instead.

And then there he come Deutschland the man running into the scene with shinning..fluffy...armor?. The moment his gaze settled on the volpino his gaze widen up in delight. " Deutshy is that ya?." For sure he was no longer a german shepherd but this little being instead. H was so cute and fluffy. He loved fluffy cute things. Unable to resist himself as he wanted to know how the volpino fur felt like took steps closer towards the little dog and reached out a paw slowly and attempted to place it on top of the others head and if he succeeded would meet with a soft sensation under his paw. Like a child how just experienced something for the first time the vampire contunie to touch the leader's head, removing the paw and then put it back on the others head, a process he repeated. Fluffy fluffy fluff! He just wanted to hug him so so very badly. He was about to but then Haiiro's words reached his head.

Blinking Dimitri then moved himself away to return Deutschland space to himself for the time being. I promise i will be at my best behavior. he send to Haiiro through their bond but it come out rather mischievous so it was hard to tell if he was serious or not. Now to that cell thing though Dimitri wouldn't exactly complain either but had to admit the fact he needed to sleep on a cold floor in a dark dusty place did not come to settle well with him. " And i'll stay there obidently like a locked up bird stolen from all it's freedom." he promised them in his own humours way of playful sarcasm. I mean he could just teleport himself out from there unless they had the cell spelled with some magic to keep himself to get out but once again he always found a way out from prisons not that he had been in many of course.

Regis then catch his attention again as he claimed to know what was going on right now. Aha, what was his vampire friend cooking up?. Curious since he seemed to have the answer to this confusing matter of disrespectful accusion he was convinced he never had commited had to admit wanted to hear whatever Regis had on his heart. " Oh, ya are going to tell me something about myself i don't alreadyknow. This will be interesting please do tell me unless ya want me in that rather cold unfriendly cell first. Whatever ya wanna do i guess." he said, and offered a smirk to encourage Regis to tell them whatever he was about to tell them.

"I suppose I shall explain here, whilst everyone that I need is still gathered round. But... Deutschland, I need you to hear me out as well. Some of what I'm about to share must be kept secret among us until you deem it fit to share."

Regis exhaled slowly and sat himself down. He wished he could share in some of Dimitri's spunky attitude but the time for laughs from the lion had already long passed since arriving on the scene. Never before had the lion looked so withered and frail. Even a beast such as him could succumb to the toils that stress and sleepless nights could bring. Drawing in a long breath he finally began the presentations of his findings.

"Dimitri, it is true that you butchered a patrol of Thunderlanders. I was on the scene not long after and I know your scent so well that there was no denying it, very little can fool my senses. However, I went looking for you... without permission of course. Until now I have remained silent on the matter. Eventually I did find you Dimitri, or I found something disturbing inhabiting you at least. You had been- what would be the right phrase... afflicted by a curse. You barely recognised me and I did truly fear that I would become your next victim that day, but thankfully I seemed to reach the real you slumbering within with the aid of some candy. But you seemed pained, practically a prisoner within the depths of your own body. Your control was nothing more than the flickering moments of a dying candle and it didn't take long before the beast resumed control and I had been forced to flee."

Regis explained, a look of discomfort on his face as he recalled back on all that had happened and on what he had learned.

"The beast that performed the killings was really another entity I believe, a feral monster that had hijacked Dimitri's body. This would also explain why he can not remember any of this, or even the encounter him and I had out in the loner lands. Though if possible I would like to enlist the aid of an oneiromancer. More than anything I want to see the face of the one who cursed my friend. The real culprit who placed the Thunderlands in harms way."

The medic continued before finally drawing it to a close, exhaling a long sigh as he let the tension seep from his form. Though he soon found himself turning to look at Dimitri.

"I will find the individual who did this to you, to us. And I will bring them to justice as they face their own trial."

  • CLEVER DEVIL・゚✦ Dimitri had admittedly taking all of this as a joke up until now not liking to get falsely accused for something he not could remember he even had done. But it was also a bit entertaining for him since someone tried to make him to the culprit here, to blame all of this on him. That was rather cute if they thought he not could found them. He loved to take the blame for something he had done or wanted them to think he had done but to be honest he had not even started with anything just yet but still had manged to gain all of thier attention. He would found that person of course, giving him a praise and a clap to the shoulder and the two could share a good laugh before he either killed him or found a way to ruin his life. Probably the last one.

But when Regis started speaking his smirk slowly started to fade of from his lips the deeper into the explaination they come. The word curse really stuck with him but not so much the feral beast he was explaining it like. Was it his despair form he was talking about?. That would have been nonsense for him since he knew better then to transform into it and even if he did had his mind in place and neither would it make him lose his memories. Of course there had been times when he went out of control since during that time his mind would be corrupted with despair but he had learned to control it quite well during his lifespan although there always needed to be something to trigger that for him to transform into it, not like changing clothes in other words.

But since he mentioned curse and him not being in control made him think. That familliar aura that come from that body out in the desert seemed to have a bigger picture in this. Aha, he believed he knew who lay behind all of this which meant if so this would become alot more complicated then. Lovely. And here he had thought he had killed her moons ago. Some people just didn't know how to stay dead. Dimitri could tell them but he decided against it since he had no reason good enough for him to tell them. " I see that would explain why i woke up in the middle of the desert then, and here i thought i had been sleep walking." he mused adding in a little bit of a joke but he did was taking this more serious now. Neither did he liked that Regis wanted to found her it was difficult, heck he had spend years on it but he was not exactly a warlock banned from using any sort of magic ever again so that had made it more complicated on his part but Regis?. Aha, he might end up getting killed. Shame, and here he had started to like his walking candy bar man.

But then he thought that Regis turned to face him properly and gave him a promise he would found the real culprit. Dimitri blinked and stared right at him for some seconds before he glanced of towards the side and picked up a paw to place it on the side of his muzzle only through the bond a send out emotion of feeling touched floated around. "Good luck then." he said as he felt a bit conflicted.
