- he's super alert to his surroundings, kind of?? paranoid?? but he covers that up with a brave-ish, extroverted front? umm, think of the old horror movies where the girl/guy/etc hears the killer in the woods and goes, "who's there/is someone there?" in a really spooked voice and then walks toward the noise and that's funtime.

- he's got jokes! are they very good?? no of course not they're cheesy and god awful but don't tell him that shhh

- he's been!! underground this whole time!! until very recently!! and has no idea!! what he's doing!!

- freddy is sweet and new to the world be nice to him please

- i mean he's really oblivious to rudeness / sarcasm / negativity in general but still be nice

- bon-bon is his (possessed?? electronic?? nobody knows for sure) puppet and he loves them very very much.

- mechanical mutations, probably. uhh he has a voice modifier but it's broken whoops and therefore it's not uncommon for his usually scratchy voice to drop a few dozen octaves mid-sentence. also, he stutters.
