  • ff okay so should i?? not bring them there?? bc i don't want them to be the cause of a heart attack checkers pls

  • checkers im still worried

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ok

oof i've seen them around and moving is?? fine. you do what's best for you bb

    ffffffffffff frisk is a butt

  • I had koma in there for a while, while it was the empire, and felt overall excluded lmao

though that seems to be the case w a lot of characters that aren't site famous or high positions, in all clans ??

  • I feel like it's less of a 'non-popular' character problem and more of a clan problem, people don't make enough of an effort to include others and it's horrible. Speaking of which, if you guys ever join Sunclan and feel excluded, or see someone looking excluded, tell me if you can - I hate leaving people out.

  • what checkers said. i know that it doesn't help that everyone is on discord and one person left after feeling left out before coming back ( on discord ). there's a few other reasons too, but i don't want to leave because it's the first place i got extremely active with a character, and tequila has a lot of experience—all from my experiences with other characters being medics are put into them—as the head oracle. i don't know how active the oracles are and one is a deputy ( good for tikki! ) of another clan, and the other is a little spotty. honestly, it's not the fact of "oh, i'll lose my hp" since i've played many leaders and had ranks of many degrees over the years, but more on the concern of the overgrowth dying so soon when it has the potential to grow.

  • THE SANCTUARY *˚⊹♔

you stumble into fields of jade and masses of thick trees. canopies of leaves blowing softly overhead in lulling winds. fairy lights entwine every branch in sight, a dull golden glow spilling out across moonless ground and lighting your path. with each daunting step you take, whispers caress sensitive ears until a flood of disembodied voices fills every inch of your galaxy-strewn mind and you can't make sense of all that is said. bursts of color fall into line of sight just when wariness tenses muscles and your eyes come to rest upon a curious sight- a spirit, you want to say, but you know for certain that such things don't exist. however, if not that then what else could it be? it hovers there, faceless, shapeless, nothing less of bone and nothing more than real. before you think to speak, figures emerge behind these faceless, shapeless, creatures, their eyes curious and their lips slanted into thin lines. they care not of the phantoms, attention all on you, "hey pal, this is the sanctuary. you need something or..?"

    TERRITORY

the sanctuary is located in a foggy woods where trees are dense and the floor is carpeted with lush green grass. one side of the territory is scattered with small wooden houses adorning water wheels that supply them electricity, fueled by a fast-flowing stream which cuts across the eastern part of the territory and later gathers together to form a grouping of small waterfalls. jars of fireflies cluster on many house's doorsteps, and fairy lights are stringed everywhere, illuminating the entire village. the eastern and western sides of the sanctuary's land are brought together by a plain and simple wooden bridge.

the western area of the territory is still ripe with vegetation but is far flatter than the eastern side and can be easily used for farming and gardening. its not uncommon to see rows and columns of flowers nestled up along the dirt paths provided. the gaia, a large and sentient/possessed willow tree with wisteria hugging its middle, can be found here, in the center. not too far away from the gaia is a cemetery, exclusive to the sanctuary's members. underneath, and even around the gaia are burials of previous sacrifices to the tree, often time enemies of the sanctuary. they do not have the luxury of getting a proper burial or gravestone.

the northern area, however, is where the woodlands begin to dwindle, and the grass is replaced by a wide lake with fine beads of pale sand, weeds, and gravel caking its shore. a broken down dock is situated not far off.

the southern part of the territory is a drastic change in climate, melding into a humid marshy area that the clan is told to avoid due to how easy it is to get lost in the thick fog that winds around the trees, and the apparent hostile uncivilized wildlife that lurks there.

commonly found things include random unmarked graves, wisps & spirits, shadowy creatures that lurk in the fog, ancient items, modern items, etc

    RULES AND Q&A

& all feralfront rules apply, obviously.

& harming clanmates, allies, and neutrals is frowned upon, but enemies are fair game, especially if its open season.

& shunning a clanmate based on wisp color or lack thereof will result in immediate punishment.

& sexual molestation is not in any shape or form permitted, and will result in immediate exile or imprisonment if committed.

& respect and listen to the higher positions.

& no high position is to abuse their power; that will lead to a temporary demotion; if they continue to abuse their power even after they've been warned they will be trialed and possibly risk being exiled.

& the leader's word is law.

& harming the gardens/crops and antagonizing the spirits will not be tolerated. they are to be protected and cared for.

& touching the gaia with harmful intentions will result in extreme punishments, such as execution or exile.

& treat joiners with the upmost kindness and respect you can unless they prove to be hostile.

& IC rules can be broken, but bear in mind that they will come with IC consequences.

    — Q: CAN I JOIN?

A: of course! simply post a joining thread, or jump right in as though you've been here all along. the oc and ic community will make you feel at home!

    — Q: CAN I PLAY HIGH POSITION?

A: not immediately, no. high positions are earned OCly through inclusiveness and ICly through activity, participation, and overall contribution. if you can manage that, you are well on your way to promotion!

    — Q: HOW CAN I BRING UP A CONCERN?

A: if it's an in-character worry, simply post a thread requesting a high position. however, if you have a concern with something out of character, such as cliques, private message a high position! we'll do what we can to fix it.

    — Q: WHERE'S STARCLAN? WHERE'S FIRESTAR?

A: the sanctuary is in the extended game, an alternate continuity where the events of the books never happened! ever!

    — Q: WHAT IF MY QUESTION ISN'T UP HERE?

A: if you don't see your question, feel free to ask a high position. we won't bite, don't worry.

    — Q: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WISP AND A SPIRIT?

A: wisps are spirits seen throughout the territory, colorful, and ball shaped. they can imprint on members via building a character bond ; they don't talk at all, and instead, show their emotions to their member. spirits are mostly around and in the tree and can be outlined as anything (ex, a dead feline, canine, etc). spirits can talk to the members.

  • @ saturn / checkers yeah, i get that. getting into a group is hard when that group also has a discord / skype chat because not everyone has one of those and sometimes it can lead to unknowingly excluding someone from the chat / board because of their lack of connection to those other medias. maybe the overgrowth could do some kind of newcomer initiation / tour and encourage plots because tbh good plots and politics keep a group afloat / interesting.
