  • After a day of rest, Val was ready for his next visit. That left one basket left, and he was still debating which Clan it should go to... he'd decide for sure later. He was a little more confident after having visited here before - it had been a long and confusing journey to the Thunderlands. And, River, who often seemed to have a memory better than his, led him forward anytime he hesitated by gently squeezing his shoulders with her talons. With a stifled yawn, the cub reached his destination and settled down to wait for anyone to greet him, hoping he'd see some familiar faces. His basket sat beside him, containing some treats, herbs, and a couple rocks he'd decorated himself.

  • TONIGHT WE ARE VICTORIOUS —

Chrome would bounce over when she heard the call of her clanmate. Although, thankfully, the lizard had already spoken, saving her any awkwardness from a conversation with the stranger. After all, she loved small conversations , but long conversations, or talking to a stranger, were things she didn't like doing.

  • The lion, unfamiliar with Riverside as he was, simply walked over and stood next to Chrome. Content to observe for the most part, he simply nodded in greeting to the three gathered so far.

  • Val watched, mouth agape in surprise, when a lizard approached them. He glanced quickly between the reptile and his bird. Good thing River preferred mice and rabbits, or she might've thought him food. Valemon didn't once think to devour the lizard, instead offering him a polite smile. "Ambassador of Riverside, wit' gifts," he stated. River gave his ear a nudge with her beak, her way of letting him know he'd forgotten something. "Oh! 'm Val, an' bird frien' River." Now that his bird was satisfied, the cub watched as a second and then a third - a lion, like himself! - appeared. He pushed the basket toward them all. "How you doing?" he asked with a tilt of his head.

  • "Good to meet you, Val and Raven! I'm Vasin," the lion spoke, nodding to the younger male. He hadn't seen another lion in a while, but perhaps Riverside had more of them than Wind Haven. With a flick of his tail, he answered, "It's more of the same, really. BlizzardClan offered to merge with us, but Electric refused. How's Riverside?"

The tan lion, once he finished speaking, then looked at the gift basket. He curiously grabbed a gingerbread cookie, munching on it with some degree of satisfaction and contentment. Sugar tasted gooood.

  • Val smiled at the lion who had introduced himself. There were a few other lions in Riverside, one he could think of off the top of his head being his friend, Pit. While he didn't know exactly what a 'merge' was, he could still report it to Shining regardless. And, Vasin had already asked a question of him. "Riv'side good. Peaceful." That was how Shine liked it, and Valemon couldn't complain. Shine tried to keep out of conflict and Val quite agreed that getting involved in the conflicts of other Clans should be avoided. Then, the cub watched as the other selected one of the treats from the baskets and Valemon was reminded he still hadn't had lunch today. River would surely catch him something when they returned home.
