  • AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT — lanza godspeed — the rift — tags

// so i’d like to take the time to apologize for my inactivity with lanza. i’ve had some things going on lately that i’m still trying to deal with, but i’ll be working on getting my activity up in the coming days. i have some plots worked out for her, which include a name change and some other things so stayed tuned for that

lanza had left the rift to go to create a dual alliance with the wind haven awhile back. after that, she had left the wind haven to go on a “soul searching” of sorts. however, that seemed to be worthless and a waste of time for her. it didn’t end up working out. she just ended up feeling more lost than ever. she missed her friends, her home. and now she didn’t know what to do. she was slowly losing her mind to that of the darkness that had recently entered her with all the events as of late.

now she was hoping that by returning to the clan she originally joined she could work some things out. maybe she could start over. however, she wasn’t sure how the clan would react to her return. she felt as if she betrayed the clan somehow. she felt like they’d hate her. drive her away for leaving them. she didn’t even tell them that she was leaving them. who did that? and belial.... was he still around? she hoped so. he was honestly the only one she wanted to see at the moment. she couldn’t explain it, even though he was part of the reason that the darkness came, she didn’t seem to care. she wanted him back. she wanted to make things right.

lanza would soon reach the border of the rift, and crossed it without even thinking about it. of course, she probably should have waited at the border. but she so badly wanted her life back that she allowed her paws to lead her to the place she once called home. the scent of the island filled her nostrils as she let out a sigh, a small bit of peace entering her soul. hello?! archi! frightfur?! frost?! luci?! anyone? i’m back.... i’m sorry... i’m sos orry!” she called out, hoping that one of the friends she once knew still resided in the clan. she hoped that they wouldn’t be too hard on her, just by looking at her they’d be able to tell that she was in no way alright. her last words were a wail, lanza calling them out in almost a sob as she wearily made her way towards the camp.

they’ll hate you for leaving. they won’f let you return. you’re worthless. you don’t matter to them. they more than likely didn’t notice that you were gone you pathetic excuse for a mutt.GET OUT OF MY HEAD!” she’d attempt to scream through a sob as she heard the darkness creap back into her mind. just leave me alone...

galizer's ears would pricked before he heard his sister's voice. he could hear her ragged breathing, her frantic heartbeat from where he laid a mile down on a deserted beach. at the sound of her sobs, the mainly disinterested wolf leapt into actions, opening his holy-given wings for the first time in years to race towards her. within minutes, he had wrapped his feathers around his blood-relative, a worried growl building up in his throat.

"lanza? lanza!" he moved to shake her a bit, his glowing eyes and pelt flashing bright white in alarm. "i am here, you are here. your friends are coming."  please be alright!

upon the arrival of her brother, she would calm down only slightly, leaning against him as he wrapped his wings around her, shaking her slightly. g-gal?” she’d whimper as she gazed at him, sesrching his face. she was aware that this was her brother, but yet, at the same time everythig felt off... foreign even. she didn’t understand what all had happend to be quite honest. there were still pieces of her memory that were quite fuzzy to her, something she couldn’t quite make a connection out of.

"shhh." galizer's voice was soft, unintimidating. he had completely dropped his angelic persona, and suddenly - in his mind - they were pups again, both unwinged pups who were cuddling together during a storm.

"la-la," he murmured, an old nickname that he hadn't used for centuries. "la-la, i will sing you a tune if you sing with me."

a glance at her brother, the old name stirring her bones. she let out a soft huff as she continued to lean against him, still shaking, but seemingly calmer now. a-a song?” she would question him as she gave him another glance. she was unsure of what he thought about her leaving, and just hoped that he wasn’t upset with her.

  • that must hurt a lot

*:・゚✦ Supersenses of the unworldly, spiritual kind picked up Lanza’s voice from within the lighthouse. A small, familiar smile came over the ghostly serval’s lips as he pictured the dark-furred wolf in his head. Lanza must have returned. He’d, admittedly, never known she’d left and just had woke up one day and came to the realization he’d not seen her for days. Since then, he hadn’t thought she’d ever come back.

His supersenses picked up her scream all of a sudden and his ghost of a smile flashed away and his teeth grinded themselves together in forced confusion and apprehension.

With a flash of white light, Fright Seraphim in all his feminine and trashy glory stood on the sands near Lanza and Galizer. Her brother was with her and seemed to be helping her from whatever was wrong. The soldier of a serval took a few cautious, suspicious steps toward the two wolves. ”Lanza! Yer home again, so there ain’t no reason to be sorry. Uh, what the hell is the matter? Did somebody hurt you while ya were away?” his drawling voice was sharp and as happy as it was protective, giving away to a flash of anger at the end to even think that somebody had hurt the winged wolf.

/hey, no worries + excited for her future plots!
