AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT — lanza godspeed — the rift — tags
// so i’d like to take the time to apologize for my inactivity with lanza. i’ve had some things going on lately that i’m still trying to deal with, but i’ll be working on getting my activity up in the coming days. i have some plots worked out for her, which include a name change and some other things so stayed tuned for that
lanza had left the rift to go to create a dual alliance with the wind haven awhile back. after that, she had left the wind haven to go on a “soul searching” of sorts. however, that seemed to be worthless and a waste of time for her. it didn’t end up working out. she just ended up feeling more lost than ever. she missed her friends, her home. and now she didn’t know what to do. she was slowly losing her mind to that of the darkness that had recently entered her with all the events as of late.
now she was hoping that by returning to the clan she originally joined she could work some things out. maybe she could start over. however, she wasn’t sure how the clan would react to her return. she felt as if she betrayed the clan somehow. she felt like they’d hate her. drive her away for leaving them. she didn’t even tell them that she was leaving them. who did that? and belial.... was he still around? she hoped so. he was honestly the only one she wanted to see at the moment. she couldn’t explain it, even though he was part of the reason that the darkness came, she didn’t seem to care. she wanted him back. she wanted to make things right.
lanza would soon reach the border of the rift, and crossed it without even thinking about it. of course, she probably should have waited at the border. but she so badly wanted her life back that she allowed her paws to lead her to the place she once called home. the scent of the island filled her nostrils as she let out a sigh, a small bit of peace entering her soul. “hello?! archi! frightfur?! frost?! luci?! anyone? i’m back.... i’m sorry... i’m sos orry!” she called out, hoping that one of the friends she once knew still resided in the clan. she hoped that they wouldn’t be too hard on her, just by looking at her they’d be able to tell that she was in no way alright. her last words were a wail, lanza calling them out in almost a sob as she wearily made her way towards the camp.
they’ll hate you for leaving. they won’f let you return. you’re worthless. you don’t matter to them. they more than likely didn’t notice that you were gone you pathetic excuse for a mutt. “GET OUT OF MY HEAD!” she’d attempt to scream through a sob as she heard the darkness creap back into her mind. just leave me alone...
