A rusty red and snow white coated dog would bound forward, paws lowering and rising as the dog would pant and run forward. Panting showed the tongue to be a beautiful blue, much like his eyes, nose, ear insides, claws, and paws. He was very noticeable for many, due to being colored brightly in every place, which it didn't bother him at all, he loved the attention from anyone. He skid to a stop to smell the air, which he noticed a different smell, what he didn't know was that he was actually a bit in the territory that he was looking for, Shadow Veil was the name that he remembered most people say. He was mainly here due to curiosity, from his father mostly, due to that skinny, odd-eyed freak of a father, that hid so much stuff, even though Gunner himself never had a good mother either. He didn't really hate them, but he truly ignored them most of the time. The dog would give a small grumble noise as he plopped down on his arse, trying to not wag his tail to much, as it was not straight now, but curled. "Gunner Resurgam-Mortem you better be right, if this is not Shadow Veil... I just don't want to take a century on a supposed 'small' trip, even if I don't die from old age! And 'cause if I come 'crying' back to my parents; they will just laugh to death 'cause of how amazing I acted, and I do NOT feel like doing that..." The young dog would give a few barks to himself, but it was a bit to loud, so basically if anyone was somewhat near they could've heard him anyways. He would roll on his back, not thinking about being vulnerable on his back, as he didn't seem to care, as it looked like he was being childish and pouting his life away, due to him being more impatient then anyone else in this world.

THERE'S A DANGEROUS KIND OF COOL ABOUT YOU —
a sudden self-proclamatory exclamation surprised the striped feline as was enjoying a peaceful walk in the woods to clear his mind. steve pushed his classic sunglasses atop his head for a better look at his surroundings, and eventually caught a glance of the rusty colored canine. the figure before him was entirely unfamiliar, which implied two things- joiner or trespasser. depending on the dog's intentions, this interaction could go a number of ways.
"seems like you're aware this is the shadow veil, but what's your business here dipshit?", the striped feline said as he approached the blue-accented canine, raising an invisible eyebrow at the male. he seemed quite comfortable just lounging around their territory, how odd. it was something he himself would likely do personally.
/ ic opinions + welcome to the shadow veil !!

I GOT A FEVER FOR THE VIOLENT BEHAVIOR —
What the fuck. The Shadow Veil territories were usually quiet unless there was a fight, and that usually was confined to camp. It wasn't often that he heard hollering at the border and so, the pale direwolf was quick to appear, curiosity etched on his serene face. A pup, a strangely colored one. Hell the orange and blue hurt his eyes, they were complimentary colors, meaning they aided in allowing the other to stand out but it was a disaster. Holding back his opinion, the monochrome male merely stopped behind Steve, "when you reply, please do not shout." Unfortunately for the loud child covered in loud colors, Maegor had already began disliking them. But he hide it well behind his visage of tranquility.

eridan would of crept over, if it wasn't for the fact that he was hurting in his sides right now, and not in the exact mood to creep over like he normally did. instead, he simply padded forth with his blanket clutched in his small paws. his gold and violet eyes fell upon the joiner, curiosity tugging at his chest. they seemed very... excitable. not that eridan thought it was a problem (news flash, he did. a lot) or anything. he huffed quietly, tail flicking back and forth as he took a seat by steve. "quiet down. you're loud."

The dog would quickly get on his paws and practically bounced in joy as someone was approaching him and told him that this was the place he was looking for. As he was finally starting to calm himself down, tail still wagging, he gave out a quieter tone, trying to be polite, "I wanna join sir! My name is Gunner Resurgam-Mortem, and I was just really wanting to see if this was a good place, so I wanted to live here!" The boy would scratch his own ear with his back leg, itching away, as that is a sign of him being impatient or anxious. This time it was both. "S-sorry, I'm just a bit nervous around people who aren't blood related.... I never got to go out much, my parents hid me from everyone..." He then sighed, his tail flattened and stopped moving.

Some yelling had brought her to the scene, it was kind of hard not to hear, after all, "Welcome then Gunner, my name's Baobab!" She would comment after listening to the conversation for a second. She wondered who his parents were, and why they'd keep him hidden. She would smile at the little pup. "It's great here, so don't worry!" She chirped enthusiastically. He was colored oddly. He was brightly colored, with his rusty fur and blue. He'd be welcomed by many more of her clanmates, knowing already.

At least they tried. Anyhow, the kid wanted to join, looks like they'll have to take care of this one for a while. From what Maegor's seen, he's sure that the young pup was a handful. Perhaps Ozone would take a shine in the energetic boy. "Welcome to the Shadow Veil," the pale direwolf offered simply, a gentle smile crossing his face, "I'm Maegor. Do you have any questions about our clan?"

He gave a little huff, and started to want to poke around for answers, mostly about his father. "Do any of you know about a guy called 'Sans Resurgam'? He is kind of my father and if you guys know him, maybe I can find out why hid me and my recently dead siblings... I know he left this place recently, but I don't understand why... He won't even pipe up about anything, he even told me to call him a new name that is 'Confessedhatred'... I don't get it really, how can people just leave like that...?" The dog would give a slight whimper, not knowing what he did wrong, or if it was even his fault. "I don't think he's a bad guy, but I'm just wondering why." His ears would droop down, seeming as he was thinking a bit too hard for his mind, which he was going to cry, but he didn't think it would help the situation any. "And... I remember that dad said that he was really close to you." He raised a paw and pointed it towards Baobab, wondering what his dad really meant about anything he liked to talk about, before... He basically changed in many ways, as it seemed like someone posessed his body, so he still looked the same, but he acted like an alien to him. He truly does miss Sans, due to him being the better parent and actually tried to take care of the kids. As the mother didn't care at all, and after a while Sans stopped caring cause it was too much to do alone, he just got too depressed, Gunner totally understood that.

Sans Resurgam. He didn't know the other male, however, the family name was vaguely familiar. "No, I don't recall meeting a 'Sans'," the pale canid would respond, a hint of a frown crossing his face as the child continued to speak. Talk about oversharing. He didn't care for any of this information and he doubted that his clanmates wanted to hear about it either. And ugh, the kid was getting to emotional for his comfort. "Sorry, I can't help you with that," he added as he pondered about the name 'confessedhatred'. That was rather edgy wasn't it? Maegor wouldn't be surprised to find out that Gunner's father was pretty young too.
