Eli nodded a bit, the sudden shock literally scared the air out of him, "I'll be fine." He mumbled softly, actually making sound this time

Ben kissed Eli's nose, sighing softly. "Viper... Go away." He rolled his eyes.
Viper huffed. "Fine! Take your son and fucking go!" He left a moment and came back, setting a young boy in front of Ben. The boy looked up at Ben, shrugging a little.
-
Eli looked down at the boy, snickering softly, "He's adorable." He murmured softly then looked to Viper, "That's harsh to just abandon your kid with the father." He mumbled
-
"Yeah, well, I have things to do in the Marines. I'll... Be back for him. Eventually." Viper told him. He glanced at Ivory and wrapped an arm around him. Ben took Viper's shoulders in his hands. "Hey, hey, Viper, what happened?" He mumbled. "Where... Did you get him from?"
Viper rolled his eyes. "My uterus, you idiot." He grumbled. "And I just..." He sighed. "I don't want him to end up how I did."
"So you're giving him to another relative, like your adoptive parents did to you?" Ben raised an eyebrow at Viper.
Viper shrugged, looked down. "I don't want him to get hurt." He whispered.
-
"Well, he might end up like my brother Whispers: walking deadman, scary as hell and fucking deadly." Eli shrugged, "That or he might end up like me, depends on how Anaxsis sounds the Strings." Eli mumbled, pondering the idea, "If you dont come back for him then he'll have to go with Adrian and my daughter Mae."
-
"Or I could just stay with you." Ivory offered, looking up at Viper. Viper shook his head. "No, you're staying with Ben." Viper answered. Ben sighed softly. "I'll hold on to him for now." He mumbled. "Why... Why didn't you tell me he was mine?"
-
Eli frowned at Viper, "At least I was there for my kids." He mumbled, getting down and picking Ivory up, the man was strong himself but also very light for reasons he hadn't explained yet, "My adoptive father thought his job was more important then me, took me seven years of therapy to get over the shit he did to me. Hope you have fun with yours." He mumbled, resentment searing in his gaze.
-
Ben glanced at Eli. "Don't go there, Eli." He mumbled.
Viper leaned against Ben. "Thank you, Ben. I'll be back for him, I promise." He whispered. "I just need to sort some things out. I'm sorry, I'll explain everything when I can." He nodded once to Eli and pressed a kiss to Ivory's cheek. "I still love you." He promised, leaving briskly. He blew Ivory a kiss, looking like he was going to cry.
-
"I'm sorry, I just don't like when parents do this," he mumbled, looking off to the side, "I still hold a bit of a grudge because my parents did it to me. But they didn't come back I had to find them." He muttered. He knew why they had to give him to someone else but he regretted those years and scars he was alone.
-
Ben nodded. "I know, Viper's been through the same. The entire ordeal contributed to his schizophrenia." He gently stroked Eli's back. "I'm sorry... Perhaps we just shouldn't have come to my office." He looked down at his papers scattered in the floor. He took in a deep breath, letting his eyes close.
-
Eli rolled his shoulders a little, they felt weird again, "It's alright. When we get back to the apartment I'll set up the extra room for him. He may have to share it though, Adrian's wife kicked Mae out so Whispers is bringing her over soon." Eli mumbled softly with a slight sigh and a frown before looking to Ivory, "I may not be your mom, but we'll take care of you. And you might get along with my daughter, so who knows. You'll probably have a great friend."
-
"I don't exactly do the whole friends think. It usually back fires in the end and leave both parties in a deep depression." Ivory told him.
"Did I mention he's eerily smart?" Ben asked.
-
Eli sighed a bit, "Can you be nice then?" He asked quietly, "I get if you'll hate her but she isn't well and if she passes on I at least want it to be as painless as possible." He mumbled
-
Ivory's eyes softened. "Sorry." He mumbled, hugging Eli gently. Ben gently touched Eli's face. "Oh Eli... I'm so sorry..."
-
Eli looked to Ben, "It's alright. I went through the same thing when I was her age, I almost didn't make it. But she's strong at least." He murmured, "Let's get back to the house. It's late."
-
Ben nodded. "Ramem noodles?" He offered quietly, gathering up his papers.
-
"I'll make some pasta and cheese sauce with green beans. Won't take that long. That sound alright with you?" He asked quietly
-
Ben wrinkled his nose. "I'm not eating hreen beans, gross!" He huffed. Ivory just shrugged quietly, staying close to Eli. Really, he wasn't much like Ben, besides the fact that he had faint dappling all over his pale body.
-
"Alright, then I'll make you something else." Eli mumbled before coughing into his shoulder. He drove them back home before starting on the dinner letting Ben spend time with Ivory. Though, about halfway there was a knock on the door. Eli answered, "Whispers, you alright?" He asked, letting a tall man inside. He was tanned with black hair and pure white eyes, "Yeah. Adrian kicked my ass though." He mumbled, having a heavy nose bleed and one eye black. He was carrying something small that was covered by a coat
-
Ivory and Ben sat in seperate chairs. They didn't speak or look at each other. Eventually, Ivory just left to help Eli in the kitchen. He followed Eli to the door. He looked curiously at Whispers and the bundle.
