  • ミTAGS && winter has never been a favorite among her seasons. the squish of cold slush between one's toes and thin winds that whip a face into shades of burning red isn't exactly a gift from above in her critical eyes. it's hardly tolerable at best. so when she stirs that morning and glides to her window to find frost kissing intricate patterns into the glass it's regarded with a bleak frown. and then when she shuffles down her staircase to find the rest of her house absolutely freezing, that grimace strengthens. and then, when she steps out onto her porch into an winter wonderland atmosphere, the dip and curve of her lips merely deepen. looks like its a snow day. great.

  • Liquor had an odd relationship with the cold. It was pretty uncomfortable, but it also soothed his leg quite a bit. Random bouts of inflammation tended to flare up his pain and in the cold weather those flares were much less frequent. Although the way the snow froze his paw pads made him wish his flames were actually warm like his mother's had been. Well, maybe not quite that warm.

It was still a bit of a shock to walk onto the powdery blanket covering the earth that morning. Liquor instinctively hunched his shoulders against the chilled air and glanced at his surroundings, hoping to find someone else through the foggy lens of his breath. Luckily it didn't take too long to notice Chica also out in the cold. The chocolate feline inched his way over, a noticeably gaunt look to his face. "Hi Chica. Does it snow here a lot? I'm n-not so used to the snow." An understatement; his fangs were already chattering against one another.

  • i will make you proud

i will make you have faith in me

The snow had never been something Destrian was overly fond of, but he didn't mind it every now and again. It was fun to play in or make things out of, but other than that, it was just an obstacle that made it harder to get to places. His smaller then average form didn't help as he and Ruger pushed their way through the snow to get to the center of camp. Snow was simple. Frozen rain that got blown around by the wind. There was nothing new or exciting about it to study or observe. It was just plain old snow that fell every other day. Thankfully, much of the cold was kept out by Destrian's pirate shirt and his personal walking heater of a raccoon beside him. As they continued on, Des's eyes landed on his mother and Liquorwhip nearby speaking to each other. He decided to head that way as well. "Morning," He calls, coming to halt beside Liquor.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — snow had usually never bothered him much, not when he had even the tiniest bit of longer fur. the doberman had now been able to feel the snowflakes softly kissing his fur, easily penetrating through. his muscles didn't shiver, however. it just didn't bother him.. but he knew he couldn't stay out here for too long before his jaw would start to chatter and his bones would shiver. "shouldn't it be done snowing?" saeran asked, announcing his presence as he had watched the sky. the small flakes of snow falling gently from the cloudy sky. it was near the end of january, should it really be snowing? though, to sae's dismay, it did snow sometimes. just not too much. hearing liquor's question, saeran had turned his head towards the shivering member. hm, and they had fur. "i wouldn't say it snows too much." came his own answer, i only really snowed in december. not much to worry about. it snowed a decent amount, sure, but usually it was nice and warm.

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ lucky for sky, he kept his second body bundled up in the corner of his room, so when he woke to the sight of frozen ice on his cabin's windows, his first act of business was to switch bodies. this instantly lessened the skin-deep chill he'd felt before, and the gentle sigh that fell from his torn lip showed it. the tricolor puppy shook himself free of the blankets concealing him before making his way to the cabin door, walking slowly so he had time to adjust to the body's bitter hunch and limp. when he nudged open the door with his snout, he was exposed to a world of pure white and the less-than-happy murmurs of his clanmates; perhaps he was the only one here who liked the snow. how strange it was to him that so many of them could hate or remain indifferent to something so beautiful!!

he stopped on his porch and let his dark eyes sweep the wintery surroundings, attention latching on a particular canine shape that, though hard to spot amongst the flood of white, always seemed to catch his eye. his injured lip quirking into a sideways smile. he'd never talked about snow with saeran before, but he could imagine that the doberman likely didn't love it, purely because he had little fur on his new body. it would be fun to tease him about it-- he was sure of that. next, he spotted des skittering up to the group, accompanied by his pet raccoon. he looked less irked by the snow. sky decided to approach him first, overly-careful of his footing as he did so. "hey," he chirped as he stopped next to the tomcat, giving him a gentle, friendly nudge in thee side. then he lifted his head and greeted the rest of his gathered clanmates politely, eyes lingering for a moment longer on sae so he could pull a cheerful wink.
