    (Sorry, been binge watching shows on Netflix XD)


    Now realizing their were remains from the nights crying, he couldn't help feeling embarrassed. Quickly turning his head away and bringing a hand up to rub at a eye subconsciously.


    "That's...its nothing I am fine." His back now faced Theodore. "I can get ready by myself this morning, you should take some time to make sure you are ready for the journey" he then shooed him out before taking a moment to collect himself.


    He would make sure the carriage and such was ready, remains of crying now gone and hair wet from a cold swim. It would be a long time to ride, so he decided on the carriage. Usually he would take a single horse and ride off, but he wasn't sure how Theodore would handle that. That and it would be to long for one horse to handle.

    Theodore was still curious about how the emperor ended up in the state he had found him in, but chose not to push further. "I will see you at the carriage your highness" he said before leaving the emperor.

    He pack some clothes, even though they weren't the fineness of the royalty. He did try to preserve an outfit for the ball both were to attend at the end of their journey.


    He stood out at the front of the castle waiting to see the emperor enter outside to join him. "Are you ready your majesty?" he asked seeing him walk outside

    Yeah, that's great!


    The ride would be long, and bumpy. Aspen had taken to resting during the ride and once they arrived at an inn for the night decided to do some exploring of the little town. It had been a long ride and they hadn't grabbed food in over 18 hours.


    "We haven't eaten yet, and the street here has a lot of options. You can pick whatever you want?" Aspen told Theodore while standing at the end of the street. The scent of multiple kinds of hot food mixed together in the air.

    Theodore wasn't sure what to expect from the journey, but from the short time they had spent so far, he knew it wasn't going to be easy. He tried resting, but couldn't since he wasn't used to the road. It was going to be a long one for him.


    Once they went out to the street, he was hit by the many smells surrounding them. He looked around trying to find something and turned back to look at Aspen. "There seems to be a stall selling some of your favorite meats. Perhaps we could go there" he suggested. He waited for a response and looked over Aspen's shoulder seeing some hooded figures seeming to have their gaze on the two of them

    Damn I keep forgetting to come on here and respond,


    "Now that you mention it, it does smell good over there" He looks over to one of the stalls, the cooked meats scent already causing his mouth to begin watering. He looked to Theodore, feeling they should do something he would enjoy. The ride was long and it would be good to treat his close aid.

    So as he grabbed a few sticks with chunks of meat on them, already chewing on a large piece of stake, he looked at Theodore once again.

    "What stall catches your interest most? Game ones, foods, knickknacks?" He names a few while looking around. Himself uncaring which they went for next.

    Theodore glanced around at the stalls and spotted one that caught his interest. It was a simple bookseller cart, but it made him light up just to see them. "Perhaps we could go over there" he suggested turning back to Aspen

    Well time goes by quickly and months have passed, to a point I have forgotten to come on in a long while XD. I feel bad, and wonder how I went from super active to actual months apart Oof. Just saying back now and sorry for having not come back and replied.
