Somehow the pup found herself in the territory of BlizzardClan's floating islands, after wandering aimlessly on the ground beneath the islands. It was unknown to her, and likely everyone else, how exactly she had managed to reach the string of floating islands. It had probably been the gigantic staircase that led up to them, but that eluded her memory. Gasps, oohs, and ahs escaped her mouth as she began to explore the "uncharted" territory. Her wandering had led her to the jungle the other day, where she had met her other other daddy, but the islands were much more fun. It wasn't as dark and gloomy, more sunshine peaking through the clouds than it had trickled through the jungle's canopy.

  • As usual, Spiderkit was just finding his own way to have fun by himself, trotting around and only occasionally losing his footing. It didn't seem like anyone was paying too close of attention to him at the moment, but that didn't mean much. One of his care-takers usually showed up eventually to round him up and make sure he was safe. For the moment, though, he was out of sight and out of mind, simply chasing a butterfly as it fluttered on the breeze. Its bright colors were beautiful to him, making him eager to catch it and keep it forever. It was much too pretty to just let drift away.

The kit was so focused on the chase that he didn't even notice the strange scent in the air until he was almost on top of it, skidding to a stop near the larger paws of a pup. His ears immediately perked up, eyes widening. Oh, wow! He hadn't yet seen many creatures near his age, especially not a canine one. He stared up at her for a few seconds before remembering the butterfly. He looked back toward it, seeing it just a little bit behind her and still too high up for him to jump at, but... Maybe she could get it?

"Friend! Friend! Want!" he said, motioning his paw in the butterfly's direction excitedly.
