  • During Muse A's usual routine Muse A stumbled on Muse B (a young child) who is no ordinary child. After saving Muse B from some slave traders Muse A takes him home and takes care of him. Things turn rather strange though as Muse B was very different from other kids, seeming to age up years in just under a week. Along with these growth spurts Muse B displayed having magical powers after killing three men who came and attacked Muse A. The two then flee the village and go in search for answers to Muse A's missing brother as well as what Muse B could possibly be.

But things get tricky when Muse B displays rather obsessive and possessive behavior of Muse A which increases more time passes. Depending on what decisions are made the world can be made for the better or destroyed completely, and this fate lays in the hands of Muse A and Muse B.

Your character can either be Muse A or Muse B, muse B must be male. This can either be BXB or BxG, your choice.

“You can’t let them catch you!” The cloaked women told a young boy in a rushed whisper as the cuffs fell from his wrists.

“You need to run and keep running”

The boy looked to the women with a blank stare. Not understanding why she was telling him to do so. It confused him as much as the stares of the others who gave him looks of pity when they saw such a young boy in chains of slavery.

The women frowned as the boy did not move and continued to stare at her blanket. “Go on, hurry! Run!” Her voice took a tone higher with her impatience as she pointed to the forest.

The boy felt this was something urgent as knew from feeling those around him she was doing a very risky as well as kind thing in giving him a chance to escape. He took a small look towards the forest then back at the women before running off into the trees.

It seemed one of the man whom was in charge of guarding the camp caught sight of him. Quickly running after him well shouting at the boy to stop.

The boy continued to run deeper into the forest and past a well, he was not sure how far he was supposed to run; the women hadn’t told him how far.

As he rounded the next corner of trees and onto a dirt path he bumped into something causing himself to stumble back. He grabbed onto what he had bumped into to keep from falling and then looked up.

Blank eyes stared up to the face of a women. His eyes were bright pools of blue with long lashes. Giving a stare which would remind one of a baby animal looking cutely at a new thing. His stare broke away as he heard the sound of footsteps and he gave a quick glance behind him.

He then let go of her before going around to hide behind her as the man who had been chasing him came into the clearing.

    Name: Celeste

There was nothing that told the young elf that this morning was going to be anything different from every other morning. She got up with sunrise and got dressed just like she always did. She had made sure the house was in order before she left to go to town. It wasn't a long walk so she ideally was looking around not really paying the slightest attention to what was around her, she had gotten used to all the sights a long time ago, so she didn't need to see them every day to know that they hadn't changed in the slightest.

Holding a small basket in her arms she glanced down at it briefly when suddenly she felt someone or something bump into her. Quickly catching herself she realized there were tiny hands grabbing on to her dress. She looked down her eyes widening slightly when she saw it was a small boy looking back up at her.

Celeste stared down at the boy surprised by how innocent he looked. Something spooked him though and instead of running off like she thought he would, he simply went around to hide behind her. Blinking she had no idea who or what was coming so instead of confronting him she focused on who might be coming down the road.

When the man finally did show up she put her hands on her hips. "Hey! Are you looking for a kid?" She called out before pointing one hand to the right of her deeper into the woods. "He was running for the river." She called the man gold eyes watching him carefully. She didn't glance back at the boy once, trying to make the man think he had kept running instead.

  • The man mumbled something under his breath then thanked her before running off in that direction. Not doubting her due to it not crossing his mind that one would help the little slave escape. The boy made sure not to be spotted, walking around her as the man ran by quickly.

The boy looked off in the direction the man had run before up at the lady who had misdirected the one whom was chasing him. He stood in front of her, a hand still gripping onto the folds the skirt part of her dress. He continued to stare up at her for a long time even if/when she spoke.

His clothing was covered by a long light colored cloak, hood falling off his head as he tilted his head more up and a soft breeze went by. This revealed locks of golden hair and dirt on his cheeks. His wrists had faint red marks left by the cuffs he had only recently gotten off.

"Thank you" A soft yet smooth voice came from him, along with a high child like tone. He spoke quietly while barely any emotion was present in his words. His innocent and adorable looking face seemed to make up for the lack of emotion in his voice as he stared at her harmlessly.

He thought on how she helped him even though she had no idea why he was running from the man. Selflessly helping him even though it could have led to trouble if she were caught in her lie. It was rather interesting and because of this selfless act he automatically registered that being around her could be good for him.

  • She watched the man move away not relaxing her shoulders until she was completely sure he was gone. Letting out a loud breath she caught the boy staring up at her with placid blue eyes. She turned her head to look at him and his hand still gripping her skirt despite the danger being gone. It was hard to tell from where she was standing what the boy was running for, but had decided to help out anyways without much forethought on the matter. A friendly smile found its way on to her face. "It was no trouble." Celeste nodded meeting his gaze and looking back down at him.

Something in the back of her mind told her that this wasn't an everyday occurrence and there was a chance at least that the child could be dangerous. Waving away these thoughts as she looked down at his small face and blonde hair it was hard to see him as anything more then a small harmless child.

Her eyes briefly looked him over, although he seemed mostly unharmed there was clearly some irritated skin on his wrists. This made her curious, but it was only a minor footnote for her at the moment. Thinking over the situation the Elf tipped her head to the side. "Do you need somewhere to hide in case he comes back?" She asked glancing around the clearing seeing as there was only the forest on both sides, it didn't seem like he had many options for cover.

"If you do my house isn't far from here." The woman didn't seem all that wary of letting a stranger into her home. He was only a small child after all.

  • The boy nodded to her question, having already decided to follow her even if she had not have offered. He let his hand drop away from her skirt before giving a small look around. He wondered which way they would head to get to her home. His eyes locked on a direction, which happened to be where the village was. He sensed a gathered group of life forms about the size of humans there along with the scent of wood burning from chimney smoke.

He then looked back to her and waited for her to lead the way, following whichever direction she took. He didn't seem to be one to talk much as he was silent unless asked something. His eyes wandering taking in the area around them as they moved along the forest path.

  • The Elf nodded as well before turning away from the village and back towards the more open countryside that seemed to only have a few houses dotted here and there. Celeste motioned for him to follow her before turning to go down the path towards home. She wasn't exactly sure if she should ask why he was running away. She felt like she should, but she also thought it might be best to wait until they were back safely in the house. "Do you have any family?" She asked ideally as she glanced at him as they walked. If the boy had family then she certainly would rather see him go back with them.

Her gold shaded eyes went back to looking ahead. She hadn't been lying, it was a very short walk to what appeared to be her house. It wasn't particularly large or impressive in any meaningful way, but it was tucked away from most people, hidden by rows of trees that surrounded both sides.

Walking up the foot path that lead to the front door she pushed it open grunting with the effort of fighting with the crooked thing. It sat awkwardly on its hinges as she stepped in peering back at the boy smiling again. It wasn't much, but it was enough for her really.

  • The boy gave a slight shake of his head, blue eyes glancing up at her while he walked. “No longer here” His reply suggestived that the parents were deceased. But that wasn’t the case, but that would be known at a later time.

As she opened the old door of the home he peered inside through the crack. His eyes then went on to look around, taking in the area as he entered the entrance way.

“Do you live with anyone?” He asked as he looked over to an extra pair of shoes at the entrance way.

The home seemed very well lived in and had a earthy scent. Looking over to some plants in the windowsill it made sense the place was filled with life/nature energy.

(Your choice if she lives with anyone or not, the shoes can also suggest an extra pair she has or a pair someone forgot when last visiting)

  • The Elf paused as she pulled off her own shoes hearing his response that his family was not around anymore. That certainly made her assume that his family was indeed dead. “I’m sorry to hear that.” She said softly as she laid her own shoes down next to the other pair that were sitting by the door.

“Yes a young man rents a room from me.” She explained scoffing at the fact that the shoes were thrown in the doorway. “He’s such a slob.” She pushes them away with her door before coming further into the home. “He’s out for the day.” She explained and took a deep breath as she went into the kitchen putting the basket on the old worn table.

“Where are my manners? My name is Celeste.” She beamed as she started taking things from the basket. “Are you hungry or thirsty or anything?” She asked ideally looking towards him with her same smile.

  • The young boy’s eyes followed her as she spoke to him and made her way deeper into the house. He had watched as she took off her shoes and looked down at his bare feet, he didn’t have anything really to take off so he just followed her. He kept close behind her much like a shadow would stick to someone.

He continued to stick rather close well he watched her grab things from the basket. He thought a moment as she gave him her name. He had met many with these names, having not told his once. But to her, it would be fine.

“I’m Leo..” He looked up to her then over to the basket contents she had pulled out. “Something....sweet” he looked back to her. What he said didn’t say exactly if he was hungry or thirsty, or even if what he was referring to was food or drink. Realizing that this was not the best answer he went and spoke again. “ I’m a little bit thirsty..” Fruit, sugar, honey, milk, juice, sweet things were the most preferable.

His favourite was warm honey milk, though he usually paused out right away after drinking even just a glass.

  • Celeste kept looking down at him every now and again with just how close he was sticking to her. She wasn't used to having someone follow her so closely, but she didn't say anything instead just focusing on emptying out her basket. There were some bundled packages and some fruit inside. Humming to herself she tried to keep a tally of what she would need to get later on in the week. Pausing to look at him again after hearing his name she smiled and nodded her head slightly. "Nice to meet you Leo." She said politely and set the basket down on the ground.

She paused when he said something sweet. She didn't go anywhere immediately since sweet meant a lot of things. So, instead she waited to see if he gave anymore clarification. Once he did she nodded a little and went to thinking. "I can get you some milk." She offered as she stepped away from the counter taking the meat with her. The house was very tiny so she only walked a couple steps before she made it to the cellar door. Throwing it open she slowly started her descent. "Stay up there it's dark down here." She called remembering him seeming to follow her every step.

Down there for a brief moment she came back up with a jar of milk. Popping the lid off she walked back to the counter ideally looking around for a moment before she found a cup. "I also have some honey and fruit if you want some." She motioned to both before her eyes went to him to see what his answer would be.

  • It seemed his expression answered before his words did as his eyes lit up at her saying she had milk as well as fruits and honey. For the first time since she met him he smiled and gave a quick nod after taking a small step back to avoid tripping her when she made her way back.

“Yes! That would be great, thank you.” He told her in a bit of a happy voice as he watched her more closely now in his excitement. He Never had drunken milk often after all due to being unable to get it, after all he had only ever been given it.

Once the drink was made he took it carefully, making sure not to lose grip like he had once in te past, and went over to what seemed like a small table with chairs around it. He first set the glass down on the table before climbing up to the sea himself and sitting down.

He sipped at the drink, a large grin on his face as he savoured the sweet drink. He would look over at her now and then, still in wonder why she was being so kind to him. He had met a fair amount of humans, and though the lady that freed him was rather selfless, this girl seemed on a whole other level. Something about her just drew him to her.

“How long have you lived here for?” It was a rather random question spoken as he took another up of his drink. Eyes looking to her as he awaited her deploy.

  • Giggling as she made the drink she couldn't help it see how over joyed he was about it. Once she had mixed the milk and honey together she set it on the counter for him. She left him to drink his milk in peace while she put the milk back in the cellar. She could be heard down below before her footsteps could be heard on the wooden steps. Appearing out of the darkness of the cellar she closed the door behind her.

When she came out and he asked how long she had lived here for she tipped her head and turned to look at him wondering why he asked that question. Tapping her index finger to her temple she had to think back to just how long it had been. "I think it's been five or six years." She guessed with a slight shrug as she walked over to take a seat in the remaining chair.

The Elf was still unsure of what exactly should be done with Leo. That was a draw back of doing everything on impulse, she ended up having to figure out what to do next rather quickly instead of thinking it out ahead of time. "Can I ask why you were running from that guy?" She asked leaning forwards a little.

  • Leo sipped the last bit of milk in his cup before getting up to go and put it on the counter by the sink. As he walked back over to the small table and took a seat in the chair once again he looked over at her.

“ He didn’t like that I got out of the wooden box and chased after me to put me back in” he answered her, not hesitating due to having no reason to lie. He was not one to lie anyway. The wooden box referring to a large crate on top of wheels with bars which slaves were taken in.

Leo stared at her silently, his head barely getting over the table enough to look at her, he was a rather small child. He soon gave up trying to peer over the table edge and went back to looking around.

It was barely a minute before he yawned. He rubbed at his eyes before slowly leaning forward, his head rested against the tables edge. He looked with unfocused eyes at the ground as he grew tired. Any other questions she may have unable to be answered for now as he fell asleep like that.

  • The Elf blinked trying to puzzle out what the wooden box he was talking about was. While she was still trying to figure that out she glanced over at him only to realize he was out cold with his head laying on the table. She sighed softly and stood up. She didn’t exactly have a whole lot of spare room, but she decided to let him sleep in her room for now. She walked over and carefully scooped him up in her arms careful to try not to disturb him too much.

She carried him up a set of stairs pushing open and creaky door slowly to try and keep it quiet. The room was little more than the bed so she walked in and laid him down in it pulling up the blankets around him. Of course that now begged the question of where she was possibly going to sleep.

Sighing she shook her head deciding to worry about it later on. Celeste started to leave the room pausing in the doorway to look down at the little boy with a soft smile on her face before she slowly closed the door behind her to let him get some sleep.
