  • 「 they’d love to watch me fall — they think they know it all 」

    The strawberry leopard moved, making his way to the border. His gaze held a quiet steadiness to them, surveying the grim land. It was funny. Osaka was so much more... bright, vivid, colorful. Here... here it looked like everyone was about as colorblind as a dog. He kind of missed Osaka, but the hotheaded detective knew there was likely work to be done here.

    So, Heiji sat down, waiting at the border calmly."Hey! I’m Hattori Heiji. I’d like to join."

    "Well then welcome to the Shadow Veil! I'm Baobab, nice to meet you!" She would reply, after hearing the male's voice and walking over. She would sit down and flash a smile. Hattori was an odd name, although she couldn't judge, being named after what she was named after. She was a puma right now, so many who didn't know her very well would question why her name was Baobab, but a few knew her serval form, and why she was named the way she was. "Speech"

  • ”i like your hat,” comments the scaled canine as she approaches. fish does not get the idea of wearing clothes, but that’s probably because she is too big to wear anything. being the size of a draft horse makes it difficult to do most of the things smaller animals are able to do. regardless, she can appreciate how accessories look on other people; hence, the compliment. “my name is fish,” she introduces whilst taking a seat next to baobab, the latter also receiving a warm, albeit brief, smile in acknowledgment. fish is admiring the male’s pretty coloring when an invasive thought weasels it’s way to the forefront of her conscious. unable to hold her tongue, she blurts, “which name do we call you?” fish only goes by fish, even though her parents intended her name to be inna. she never got the chance to live as inna, however, thus only having one name. last names are an unfamiliar concept.

  • WHY IS MY REFLECTION SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW? —

    A leopard, huh? Padding forwards carefully, the four eyed canine eyed the joiner briefly before introducing himself with a curt nod, "Sutekh Fantasia-Reaver. It's a pleasure," after that he stayed silent. He didn't need to say anything else, his clanmates around him would probably say all that was on his mind. Sutekh was content to sit and watch the stranger and his curious hat.

  • Camelia approached silently, immediately going to Baobab like a little duck to it's mother. Her one good eye, the one placed squarely on her forehead, observed the stranger without a word. Her bony body, she was recovering from a month of starvation, was a bit antsy, her paw tapping, long tail flicking, nostrils flaring. She didn't understand English, or any language for that matter, and had only joined the group because Baobab and Sutekh were there. Otherwise she would have gone to find someone, or something, to play with. The little girl was barely out of her toddler hood after all and was still amazed by clan life. Patting the ground near Baobab to get her attention the little babe then went to Sutekh.

    Now by Sutekh Camelia smiled as if she had accomplished something, a proud little grin on her sweet face. She had seen both her favorite gibberish lady and her favorite gibberish boy, and so all was well in the world.

  • Hattori Heijji... he liked the sound of it. It was practically alliteration, a first name and a last name too, perhaps not with that semi-traditional edge his own had in regards to the old clans, but it was unusual, regardless. He joined his clanmates, tentatively coming to a standstill next to Baobob as he smiled at the newcomer. The wolf was still new himself, technically, it was odd. Though born in this group, though serving this group for a long time, everyone he knew had long since disappeared from it, and yet he still had the desire to serve. "My name's Commonwealth Xerses-Panem, it's good to meet you," he dipped his head in respect, once again realising he was probably gonna have to initiate some good ol' hospitality from the warriors present. "Would you like some food or drink? A tour maybe? I can offer one myself... but heh, I'm a little new as well," he admitted, growing a sheepish grin.

  • Stepping forward the reclusive female had finally decided to go out and try to actually socialize. Lately things had not been going too well for her lately and she had wanted to just take a breather, avoid the others that probably thought ill of her since her relationship had been blasted by her husband. But she still felt drained of energy. Eyes focused on nothing really as she made her way though the territory, eyes shifting up to look the pine trees that were covering her from the sun. Blinking when she heard voices the female turned herself in that direction and walked her way over to go and see what it was about. When she arrived it seemed that they were all talking to a joiner and she dipped her toward them, looking rather out of it for a short moment. "Welcome to Shadow Veil from me as well. The name's Sek and it's good to see a new face here."

  • WHY IS MY REFLECTION SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW? —

    Looking down to Camelia, Sutekh couldn't help but smile. Grinning, while chuckling, he offered, "Hey kiddo," before gently tapping the ground next to her. Maybe it meant something to her? Maybe it didn't. She was just too damn adorable and Sutekh wasn't sure how to feel about it. This leopard fellow seemed nice enough, he supposed.

  • Appearing from its random invisible portal, the cryptid glanced at the strawberry leopard with a snap of its head to one side, eyes unblinknig and boring into the newcomer. No, it wasn’t trying to be creepy — merely observant. Although to everyone else, yes, it just looked, sounded, and seemed creepy in general. Nothing it could do about, that’s just how it always behaved. ”Welcome..I am..Sleepwalker..” Its disembodied voice hushed, a simmer of static accompaning it ever so softly. Its hellsteeds, tall horses with dog-like maws, lowered their heads and seemed to grin, ivory fangs slicked with drool and pale eyes staring seemingly nowhere in particular.

  • It wasn't log before the initial crowd of people forming around this newcomer, that Guitarstrings found himself strolling over with his strange one-fleshy paw and the rest being literal bones as he sat somewhat near Camilia, attempting to give a grinning effect to fellow child, despite his face being only a skull and failing pretty badly before he even stared. Well, he might as well greet this leopard along with everyone else, huh? " Welcome, amigo! You're going to love it here, we're way cooler than other clans. Just you wait and see! " The pup barked out with excitement lacing his tone, for new people in the clan meant that here was new people for him to befriend, right? Well, if all went well, that is.

    "TALKING" || 'THOUGHTS' || 'TELEPATHY'

    It came to see that newest joiner hadn't responded to their introductions yet, so he threw his in as well as he wandered up. Fragilepast took caution and strayed off to Guitarstrings' side instead of his wifes as he did that. "Fragilepast, dalring," he grumbled lowly. The nightwatcher offered a crane of his head towards the male. Besides that, he had nothing else to do. Maybe offer a tour, but that was pretty much it for him.
